Introductions

Feixiao is a 5★ Main DPS Wind Character following the Path of Hunt. Feixiao is a main DPS that deals powerful Follow-up Attacks that build up to a devastating Single Target Attack with her Ultimate.
Our Feixiao Build Guide will show you the best Light Cones, Relics and Team Compositions to have the best Feixiao you can.

Feixiao's Best Light Cone

The percentage numbers showcase the relative DPS increase when you take into account both the Lightcone Effect(s) and Cones Base Stats.

I Venture Forth to Hunt (S1)
111.6%
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 15.0 / 17.5 / 20.0 / 22.5 / 25.0%. When the wearer launches a Follow-up ATK, gains 1 stack of "Luminflux," stacking up to 2 time(s). Each stack of "Luminflux" enables the Ultimate DMG dealt by the wearer to ignore 27.0 / 30.0 / 33.0 / 36.0 / 39.0% of the target's DEF. When the wearer's turn ends, removes 1 stack of "Luminflux."

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
This is Feixiao's Signature 5★ Lightcone and is Feixiao's best build option. This Lightcone gives CRIT Rate and a stackable buff that makes your Ultimate ignore enemy DEF. This buff goes down by 1 stack at the end of her turn but Feixiao has no issues maintaining it at 2 stacks at all time.
Baptism of Pure Thought (S1)
110.6%
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 20.0 / 23.0 / 26.0 / 29.0 / 32.0%. For every debuff on the enemy target, the wearer's CRIT DMG dealt against this target additionally increases by 8.0 / 9.0 / 10.0 / 11.0 / 12.0%, stacking up to 3 times. When using Ultimate to attack the enemy target, the wearer receives the Disputation effect, which increases DMG dealt by 36.0 / 42.0 / 48.0 / 54.0 / 60.0% and enables their Follow-up ATKs to ignore 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0 / 36.0 / 40.0% of the target's DEF. This effect lasts for 2 turns.

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
Dr Ratios's Signature 5★ Lightcone is your second-best build option if you have got it. It grants passive CRIT DMG % (stacking up to three times against debuffed foes) and, when you use Feixiao's Ultimate, it buffs all damage and lets Follow-up ATKs ignore DEF. Because Feixiao’s Ultimate counts as a Follow-up thanks to Formshift, this Lightcone gives her the full effect.
Cruising in the Stellar Sea (S5)
100%
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%, and increases their CRIT Rate against enemies with HP percentage 50.0% or less by an extra 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, their ATK is increased by 20.0 / 25.0 / 30.0 / 35.0 / 40.0% for 2 turn(s).

Sources: Herta's Store
This is the Herta Shop 5★ Hunt Lightcone and acts as a baseline. This Lightcone gives you a lot of CRIT Rate and then gives you even more CRIT Rate against targets below 50% HP. This means you need to build slightly less CRIT Rate to take full advantage of this Lightcone. Additionally, upon killing an enemy gain an ATK % buff for 2 turns. This Lightcone is a bit weaker if there are not additional enemies to maintain this ATK % buff.
Swordplay (S5)
98-101%
For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect will be dispelled when the wearer changes targets.

Sources: Stellar Warp
This is a 4★ Limited Lightcone that provides a stacking large amount of DMG % whenever you hit an enemy that resets if you hit a different enemy. Feixiao's Ultimate will provide full stacks every time but using her Ultimate with low initial stacks is not ideal for DPS. Feixiao will often lose stacks when an ally hits an enemy causing her Follow-up ATK to hit a different enemy to her original target which can be frustrating if you were building up for your Ultimate.
Return to Darkness (S5)
97.8%
Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12.0 / 15.0 / 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0%. After a CRIT Hit, there is a 16.0 / 20.0 / 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0% fixed chance to dispel 1 buff on the target enemy. This effect can only trigger 1 time per attack.

Sources: Nameless Glory
This is the Battlepass 4★ Hunt Lightcone. This Lightcone provides a lot of CRIT Rate making it an acceptable Lightcone. The main issue with this Lightcone is that it comes from the Battlepass making it take several months to acquire, cost money, and it competes with better Lightcones. If you already have this Lightcone it can be a decent option but we do not recommend going out of your way for it.
Final Victor (S5)
95.6%
Increases the wearer's ATK by 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0%. When the wearer lands a CRIT hit on enemies, gains 1 stack of Good Fortune. This can stack up to 4 time(s). Every stack of Good Fortune increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 8.0 / 9.0 / 10.0 / 11.0 / 12.0%. Good Fortune will be removed at the end of the wearer's turn.

Sources: Forgotten Hall Store
This is a Priceless Jewels 4★ Hunt Lightcone. This Lightcone provides a small amount of ATK % as well as giving stacking CRIT DMG whenever you land a CRIT that expires at the end of turn. This ends up being ok in Feixiao builds because of her multi-hit Ultimate as well as out of turn hits with Follow-up ATKs. This is a decent option if Cruising in the Stellar Sea is being used by a different, more important, character.
Swordplay (S1)
92-95.5%
For each time the wearer hits the same target, DMG dealt increases by 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%, stacking up to 5 time(s). This effect will be dispelled when the wearer changes targets.

Best Relics and Planar Ornaments for Feixiao

Best Relics for Feixiao

These are the best Relic Sets to build for Feixiao. The percentage shows the relative difference to Feixiao's best performing set.

The Wind-Soaring Valorous
100%
2-Piece Set: Increases ATK by 12.0%.
4-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 6.0%. After the wearer uses a Follow-up ATK, increases DMG dealt by Ultimate by 36.0%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
We recommend building Feixiao with The Wind Soaring Valorus as this set is her best-in-slot set synergising perfectly with her kit. This set is Ultimate DMG oriented providing 36% Ultimate DMG for 1 Turn after using a Follow-up ATK. This buff is nearly always up due to Feixiao's frequent Follow-up ATKs.
The Ashblazing Grand Duke
98.5%
2-Piece Set: Increases the DMG dealt by Follow-up ATK by 20.0%.
4-Piece Set: When the wearer uses a Follow-up ATK, increases the wearer's ATK by 6.0% for every time the Follow-up ATK deals DMG. This effect can stack up to 8 time(s) and lasts for 3 turn(s). This effect is removed the next time the wearer uses a Follow-up ATK.
Ashblazing Grand Dukes 20% Follow-up DMG boost from its 2pc applies to most of the damage that Feixiao deals thanks to her A4 Trace making it a good build option. The 4pc effect provides stacking 6% ATK per Follow-up ATK hit, resetting whenever you launch a new Follow-up ATK. This 4pc effect ends up being better than 2pc alternatives because her Ultimate is multi-hit, stacking up to 7 times over the course of the entire Ultimate.
Wavestrider Captain
98-99%
2-Piece Set: Increases CRIT DMG by 16.0%.
4-Piece Set: When the wearer becomes the target of another ally target's ability, gains 1 stack of "Help," stacking up to 2 time(s). If there are 2 stack(s) of "Help" when the wearer uses their Ultimate, consumes all "Help" to increase the wearer's ATK by 48.0% for 1 turn(s).
This set is only usable in teams with units that target Feixiao regularly like when played alongside Sunday.
This set provides 16% CRIT DMG from the 2pc. The 4pc works by giving stacks whenever the character becomes a target of an allied ability and then if you have 2 stacks when you use your Ultimate you get a colossal 48% ATK for 1 turn.
The Ashblazing Grand Duke
97.5%
Scholar Lost in Erudition
2-Piece Set: Increases the DMG dealt by Follow-up ATK by 20.0%.
4-Piece Set: When the wearer uses a Follow-up ATK, increases the wearer's ATK by 6.0% for every time the Follow-up ATK deals DMG. This effect can stack up to 8 time(s) and lasts for 3 turn(s). This effect is removed the next time the wearer uses a Follow-up ATK.
2-Piece Set: Increases CRIT Rate by 8.0%.
4-Piece Set: Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20.0%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25.0%.
Build The Ashblazing Grand Duke with Scholar Lost in Erudition for the strongest 2-piece, or swap in Wavestrider Captain for a nearly identical result. The next-best 2-piece is any 6% SPD bonus from Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder, Messenger Traversing Hackerspace or Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal, about 0.2% lower.
Scholar Lost in Erudition
97.4%
2-Piece Set: Increases CRIT Rate by 8.0%.
4-Piece Set: Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20.0%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25.0%.
Scholar Lost in Erudition has a very strong 2pc effect but the 4pc effect is weaker than the 4pc from The Wind-Soaring Valorous. Feixiao deals less damage with her skill than she does with other Follow-up ATKs and the DMG boost provided to Ultimate would be equal in both cases.

Best Planar Ornaments

Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves
100%
2-Piece Set: When an ally uses a Follow-up ATK, the wearer gains 1 stack of Merit, stacking up to 5 time(s). Each stack of Merit increases the DMG dealt by the wearer's Follow-up ATKs by 5.0%. When there are 5 stacks, additionally increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 25.0%.
This is Feixiao's best-in-slot Planetary Set to build. Max stacks provides 25% Follow-up ATK DMG and 25% CRIT DMG. Feixiao stacks this quickly even without other allies launching Follow-up ATKs.
Firmament Frontline: Glamoth
96.2%/97.3%
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12.0%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12.0%/18.0% more DMG.
This is Feixiao's second best Planetary Set as long as she's built for the 160 SPD breakpoint to gain the 18% DMG boost.
Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm
97.2%
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12.0%. When entering battle, if at least one teammate follows the same Path as the wearer, then the wearer's CRIT Rate increases by 12.0%.
This is Feixiao's third best build option but it is only usable if you are playing Feixiao with another hunt character such as The Hunt March 7th or Topaz & Numby.
Inert Salsotto
97.2%
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8.0%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 50.0% or higher, the DMG dealt by the wearer's Ultimate and Follow-up ATK increases by 15.0%.
This is Feixiao's Fourth best build option, providing 8% CRIT Rate and 15% Follow-up ATK DMG. Despite her Ultimate being a Follow-up ATK Feixiao only receives a 15% DMG boost as the effect only applies once to matching types.

Feixiao Build Comments

Feixiao's gameplay and build choices focus around maximising the number of attacks Feixiao and her allies deal to generate as much Flying Aureus stacks as possible from Thunderhunt. This will culminate in extremely high damage burst moments when she uses her ultimate Terrasplit. Feixiao can be built with a variety of speeds:

  • Moderately fast (>134 SPD) which is a comfortable middle ground for speed that is Fast enough to not feel sluggish while being slow and is lower-investment. Furthermore, 134 SPD is the breakpoint for Memory of Chaos letting you get an extra action in the first cycle (150 AV).
This level of speed is ideal when being played alongside Advance units like Sunday or Bronya as it makes it a lot easier to speed-tune the entire team to get the most benefit out of the Action Advances. Another relevant SPD breakpoint is >143 SPD which would get you an additional hit within 350 AV.
  • Hyperspeed (>160 SPD) which relies the least on teammates for Flying Aureus stacks instead opting to build as many herself as possible. Additionally, 160 is another Memory of Chaos SPD breakpoint adding in an extra turn in 250 AV worth of time.
This much SPD means it is more expensive and time consuming to get Advance units like Sunday or Bronya to the same SPD but is strong with units that scale with the total number of hits dealt such as Robin, Topaz & Numby, Moze, or The Hunt March 7th or units that provide their benefits always like Cipher or Tribbie.

Best Synergies for Feixiao

Robin
Robin

Robin is an incredibly powerful and versatile Harmony Support unit that was designed for Follow-up ATK teams and is Feixiao's Best Support. Robin provides a large DMG % buff as well as a huge amount of flat ATK and 25% CRIT DMG for Follow-up ATKs. Robin is reliant on teammates hitting to generate energy to keep casting her Ultimate which is perfectly synergistic with Feixiao who hits many times per turn. Robin also advances the entire team every time she uses her Ultimate which is amazing for overall damage with Feixiao as all unit turns contribute to Feixiao getting Flying Aureus stacks.

Cipher
Cipher

Cipher is an incredibly fast Nihility unit that launches a powerful Follow-up ATK every turn which is great for Feixiao as it helps generate stacks. Moreover, Cipher provides a 40% increased DMG taken by all enemies aura simply for existing. The overall damage increases offered by Cipher are immense and she works perfectly with Feixiao and can act as a drop in replacement for nearly any unit.

Tribbie
Tribbie

Tribbie provides a All-Type RES PEN Aura to the entire team as well as having a 30% increased DMG taken Aura on enemies from her Ultimate. Tribbie also has frequent Follow-up ATKs which help build Feixiao's Ultimate quickly and her AoE damage helps to clear groups of enemies that Feixiao would usually struggle to deal with efficiently.

Sunday
Sunday

Sunday is the most powerful Action Advance unit in the game currently providing a large CRIT Rate buff, a large CRIT DMG buff and a moderately sized DMG % buff while also being Skill Point Neutral.
Sunday is best played with 1 less SPD than Feixiao which can be a problem if your Feixiao is Hyperspeed as both would need to be >160 SPD which is a lot of SPD investment for Sunday. We suggest playing Sunday with non hyperspeed builds to make him more versatile for use with other units and easier to build.

Topaz & Numby
Topaz & Numby

Topaz is a strong unit with the the highest amount of attacks per round in the game making her an excellent battery for Feixiao. Topaz also has a 50% DMG Follow-up ATK Vulnerability through her skill Difficulty Paying? which is great for Feixiao.
Topaz’s Proof of Debt debuff lands on a random foe and needs a Skill Point to be shifted with her Skill. Without spare SP, you’ll end up either hitting the wrong target, missing out on Numby advances, or overkilling the initial target and hoping the debuff jumps to someone better when they die.

The Hunt March 7th
The Hunt March 7th

March provides both buffs, high personal damage output and a high hit frequency thanks to the Follow-up ATK March launches once per turn. The buffs March provides are 10% SPD and 60% CRIT DMG to Feixiao. March’s core mechanic Master, I've Ascended! works perfectly with the number of hits Feixiao has per turn and lets March receive action advances very frequently.

Moze
Moze

Moze is a skill point neutral debuff based sub DPS that launches very frequent Follow-up ATKs that is very synergistic with Feixiao. Moze grants 25% increased Follow-up DMG taken and increases CRIT DMG by 40% against targets with his Preystacks.
Feixiao burns through Moze’s stacks of Prey very quickly maximising his DPS and Follow-up ATK frequency. Feixiao can also hold onto her Ultimate if Prey is not active without losing DPS.

Aventurine
Aventurine

Aventurine is completely Skill Point Positive and has no issues keeping a team safe with minimal uses of his Skill. Aventurines A6 Trace Bingo! results in more Follow-up ATKs being launched and thus more Shielding when he is played in a Follow-up ATK team. Aventurine also generates stacks for his Follow-up ATKs whenever anyone with his Shields take damage which makes him launch a large number of Attacks each turn cycle making him an incredible Battery for Feixiao's Ultimate.

Hyacine
Hyacine

Both Hyacine and her Memosprite Little Ica have very high SPD resulting in a lot of overall hits from both of them over the course of a fight. While she is slightly worse than Aventurine for Feixiao teams she is still very and is the 2nd best Sustain for these teams.

Feixiao's Best Teams

This is not a comprehensive list of teams. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect its power level. We have included several example F2P teams using 4★ characters that are lower power than the 5★ teams as examples. The sustain unit in each team can be swapped out.
