Sparkle is a 5★ Quantum Character following the Path of Harmony. Sparkle is a Action Advance support that generates a significant amount of Skill Points for your team.
Our Sparkle Build Guide will show you the best Lightcones, Relics and Team Compositions build the best Sparkle you can.

Sparkle's Best Light Cone

These Light Cones are listed in order of overall strength for the team taking into account offensive power for the team.

A Grounded Ascent
S1
After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, the wearer regenerates 6 / 6.5 / 7 / 7.5 / 8 Energy and the ability's target receives 1 stack of "Hymn" for 3 turn(s), stacking up to 3 time(s). Each stack of "Hymn" increases its holder's DMG dealt by 15.0 / 17.3 / 19.5 / 21.8 / 24.0%. After every 2 instance(s) of Skill or Ultimate the wearer uses on one ally character, recovers 1 Skill Point.

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
This is Sunday's Signature and is the best option for Sparkle's build. The energy generation from this Lightcone can allow you to use a 2 turn Ultimate if Sparkle gets hit 2-3 times by an enemy. Sparkle will not get a stack from her Ultimate as it targets multiple allies.
In teams where the additional Skill Points are not valuable this is approximately equal in performance to Sparkle's Signature Lightcone Earthly Escapade.
Earthly Escapade
S1
Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 32.0 / 39.0 / 46.0 / 53.0 / 60.0%. At the start of the battle, the wearer gains Mask, lasting for 3 turn(s). While the wearer has Mask, the wearer's teammates have their CRIT Rate increased by 10.0 / 11.0 / 12.0 / 13.0 / 14.0% and their CRIT DMG increased by 28.0 / 35.0 / 42.0 / 49.0 / 56.0%. For every 1 Skill Point the wearer recovers (including Skill Points that exceed the limit), they gain 1 stack of Radiant Flame. And when the wearer has 4 stacks of Radiant Flame, all the stacks are removed, and they gain Mask, lasting for 4 turn(s).

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
This is Sparkle's Signature 5★ Lightcone and is Sparkle's second best Lightcone. This Lightcone grants Sparkle some CRIT DMG % and provides a CRIT Rate % and CRIT DMG % aura to your teammates (does not include Sparkle) while Sparkle has the Mask buff from the Lightcone. Sparkle will get the Mask buff at the start of combat and every time she generates 4 Skill Points (effectively every time she uses her ultimate) which will usually be permanently up.
Dance! Dance! Dance!
S5
When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies' actions are Advanced Forward by 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0 / 22.0 / 24.0%.

Sources: Stellar Warp
Another strong choice for Sparkle. This Lightcone will Action Advance your entire team after using Sparkle's Ultimate. While wearing this Lightcone you need to pay attention to when you use Sparkle's Ultimate so that you do not waste the Action Advance on Sparkle or your Main DPS.
But the Battle Isn't Over
S1
Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0% and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This effect can be triggered once after every 2 uses of the wearer's Ultimate. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30.0 / 35.0 / 40.0 / 45.0 / 50.0% more DMG for 1 turn(s).
This Lightcone grants Energy Regeneration Rate and provides a large single-turn DMG % boost to the next teammate to act after Sparkle uses her Skill. The next teammate to act is not always your Main DPS so keep that in mind. This Lightcone also provides Skillpoints but it is not a significant amount due to the long cooldown (1 SP per 3 ultimates).
Planetary Rendezvous
S5
After entering battle, if an ally deals the same DMG Type as the wearer, DMG dealt increases by 12.0 / 15.0 / 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0%.

Sources: Stellar Warp
Planetary Rendezvous only provides a DMG % buff to all allies of the same damage type as the wearer and therefore only worth using if you have a Quantum Main DPS. This Lightcone works well in Archer teams although it does not beat the 5★ options.
Past and Future
S5
When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 16.0 / 20.0 / 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0% increased DMG for 1 turn(s).

Sources: Echo of War, Forgotten Hall Store, Mission Reward
This is a essentially a weaker version of But the Battle Isn't Over. This Lightcone does not provide any Skill Points for the team which makes it overall weaker for Sparkle as she is usually played with Skill Point hungry teams.

Best Relics and Planar Ornaments for Sparkle

Best Relics for Sparkle

These are the best Relic Sets to build for Sparkle. These relics are listed in order of overall strength for the team taking into account offensive power for the team.

Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal
2-Piece Set: Increases SPD by 6.0%.
4-Piece Set: When using Skill or Ultimate on one ally target, increases the ability target's CRIT DMG by 18.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack up to 2 time(s).
This is Sparkle's best Relic Set to build. The 2pc from this set gives Sparkle SPD % which will make reaching SPD breakpoints easier and provides CRIT DMG % to your Main DPS which is a big overall DPS gain.
Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal Wavestrider Captain
2-Piece Set: Increases SPD by 6.0%.
4-Piece Set: When using Skill or Ultimate on one ally target, increases the ability target's CRIT DMG by 18.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack up to 2 time(s).
2-Piece Set: Increases CRIT DMG by 16.0%.
4-Piece Set: When the wearer becomes the target of another ally target's ability, gains 1 stack of "Help," stacking up to 2 time(s). If there are 2 stack(s) of "Help" when the wearer uses their Ultimate, consumes all "Help" to increase the wearer's ATK by 48.0% for 1 turn(s).
If you do not have a good 4PC Sacerdos Set you can opt to use 2pc-2pc instead. Ideally you would use one 6% SPD relic alongside Wavestrider Captain or just use two 6% SPD relics. These are the 6% SPD options currently available:
  1. Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder
  2. Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
  3. Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal

Best Planar Ornaments

Lushaka, the Sunken Seas
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12.0%.
This is Sparkle's best-in-slot Planar Ornament for most teams. The energy regeneration can help you build your first ultimate of each combat slightly earlier. With an Energy Regeneration Rate rope and an Energy Regeneration set you will only need 1-2 hits from enemies to have your Ultimate ready after using Sparkle's first Skill.
This is significantly weaker without ATK-based Main DPS units.
Penacony, Land of the Dreams
2-Piece Set: Increases wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. Increases DMG by 10.0% for all other allies that are of the same Type as the wearer.
Another competitive Planar Ornament for Sparkle providing DMG and Energy Regen. However, only really usable with Quantum DPS such as Archer. Lushaka, the Sunken Seas is more universal but this set is still very good if you intend to play Sparkle with Archer.
Broken Keel
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Effect RES by 10.0%. When the wearer's Effect RES is at 30.0% or higher, all allies' CRIT DMG increases by 10.0%.
This set requires you to acquire an additional 20% Effect RES from substats on your relics to activate the effect.

Character Explanation Gearing Tips Single Advance Character Teams Double Advance Character Teams

Character Explanation

Sparkle is an Action Advance unit that provides large damage buffs alongside her Action Advance. Unlike other Action Advance units Sparkle is only a 50% Action Advance which means she cannot double the number of turns of your Main DPS. Sparkle is usually played dragging up the SPD of a slow Main DPS unit to her own SPD — similar to how hyperspeed setups work with the other Advance Units.

Sparkle provides a CRIT DMG buff equal to 24% of her her CRIT DMG plus 45% from her Skill (Lv10), a near permanent 18% DMG buff from her Talent (Lv10) that is increased by 30% during her Ultimate's 2 Turn Buff (Lv10). Sparkle also provides 15% ATK to all allies, providing more to Quantum units based on the total number of Quantum units in the team (including Sparkle).

Sparkle's Ultimate The Hero with a Thousand Faces recovers 4 Skill Points for your team which is the main benefit for her team. Sparkle's Ultimate takes 3 turns to build (and thus 3 Skill Points) making Sparkle generate +1 more Skill Point than she uses for her Action Advances over 3 turns.
If you are using Sunday's Signature Cone A Grounded Ascent then Sparkle will generate an additional 1.5 Skill Points over 3 turns bringing her up to +2.5 SP over 3 turns.

Gearing Tips

For Sparkle the most important thing is to stack SPD as that is what dictates how fast your Main DPS unit will go. You will want to target common breakpoints like 156 SPD for an additional turn within 450 AV or 161 SPD for an additional turn within 250 AV if you are optimising for fast clears.

After getting enough SPD to reach a breakpoint you should focus on increasing Sparkle's CRIT DMG as Sparkle's Skill Dreamdiver will convert 24% of Sparkle's CRIT DMG into a buff for your Main DPS. This ends up making Dreamdiver be a very large buff for your main DPS after you get a significant amount of CRIT DMG!

Single Advance Character Teams

In teams with no other Action Advance character other than Sparkle the gameplay is significantly simplified. In these teams you do not need to worry about wasting Sparkle's advance and will use her skill at every opportunity on your Main DPS.

Double Advance Character Teams

In dual Action Advance Unit teams you will want both of the Action Advance characters to have SPD that is extremely close to each other (ideally within 5 SPD) with both characters over the SPD breakpoint you are targeting. Whichever Action Advance character goes first will slightly adjust how the team plays.

If Sparkle goes before the other Action Advance Character then Sparkle's CRIT DMG buff will expire as the Main DPS gets to act from the other character's Advance Ability. This is not an issue if you are using Sparkle to push turns but if you are playing with Phainon you will need to use Phainon's Ultimate straight after the 2nd character's turn to freeze all of the buffs during his ultimate.
If the other Action Advance character acts before Sparkle then Sparkle will not cause the ally to act immediately instead advancing them to act just before the other Action Advance character's next turn.

In teams with Sunday you will typically want Sunday to act before Sparkle as his buffs last the longest so they will still be up during Sparkle's Advance. Additionally this will be the most smooth gameplay experience possible and it is less susceptible to disruption.
In teams with Bronya you will typically want Sparkle to act first as this lets you create small windows in which your main DPS has buffs active from both of your Advance characters for using Ultimates in. This is especially important in Phainon teams as he can freeze the buff durations for his entire ultimate letting him benefit from both.

In dual Action Advance teams if you do not have enough Skill Points to use the Skill of your Main DPS in all of their turns you will want to use a Basic ATK on the Main DPS on the least impactful turn which will usually be after the first Advance character as at this point they do not have all of the buffs stacked.

Best Synergies for Sparkle

Archer
Archer

Archer is a Quantum The Hunt unit that synergises perfectly with Sparkle. Archer can use up to 10 skill points in a single turn to unleash massive Single Target damage. Using Sparkle's Ultimate The Hero with a Thousand Faces during one of Archer's turns lets you use his skill an additional two times which is excellent, furthermore he works perfectly with all of Sparkle's buffs and gets increased effect from Sparkle's A6 Trace Nocturne as he is Quantum.

Phainon
Phainon

Phainon does not use Energy for his Ultimate He Who Bears the World Must Burn instead using stacks of Coreflame. Phainon gets Coreflame when he is targeted by spells from allies, hit by enemies or from using his Skill. Sparkle will count as targeting Phainon whenever Sparkle uses her Skill or Ultimate, additionally Sparkle's Action Advance will help Phainon build stacks in less time.
Finally, Phainon freezes all buffs that were on him when he casts his ultimate letting them last for his entire Ultimate. This means Sparkle's buffs will be up for all of his actions.

Sparkle's Best Teams

This is not a comprehensive list of teams. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect its power level. We have included several example teams that are more F2P friendly using 4★ characters that are lower power than the 5★ teams as examples.

Archer Sparkle Cipher Gallagher

Archer Sparkle Sunday Gallagher
Phainon Sparkle Sunday Tingyun
Phainon Sparkle Remembrance Trailblazer Tingyun
Phainon Sparkle Bronya Hyacine
Acheron Sparkle Cipher Aventurine
Acheron Sparkle Jiaoqiu Hyacine

Sparkle's Best Eidolons

If you are investing in Sparkle's Eidolons then we would suggest stopping at E2 as that is her most powerful Eidolon and the next Eidolons are significantly weaker.
Listed below are our calculations for Sparkle's Eidolons.

Eidolon % Diff % Diff E0 Comment
Suspension of Disbelief 10% 10% This Eidolon is quite good as it means she will usually have 100% uptime on Cipher and gives those allies 40% increased ATK.
Purely Fictitious 19.7% 31.6% This Eidolon is Sparkle's best Eidolon. This Eidolon is even stronger if you play her alongside other sources of DEF reduction.
Pipedream 1.5% 33.6% Very Weak Eidolon.
Life Is a Gamble 0%-8.3% 33.6%-44.7% This Eidolon is quite powerful for teams that rely on Skill Points, especially Archer Teams where the increase to Maximum Skill points allows greater flexibility but does very little in other teams
Parallax Truth 1.2% 36.2%-47.6% Extremely Weak Eidolon.
Narrative Polysemy 14.2% 55.6%-68.5% This Eidolon increases the CRIT DMG buff provided by a significant amount. This Eidolon is even stronger in teams where multiple characters can benefit from the CRIT DMG or in teams where other supports scale with CRIT DMG like in with Sunday.
