Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker is Rappa's signature and best-in-slot Light Cone, increasing her overall damage-per-second thanks to the additional 60% Break Effect, 30 energy regeneration, and 50% turn advancement. The Light Cone's high Base ATK also contributes to helping maximise her Trace's ATK for additional Break DMG.

S5
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 28.0 / 35.0 / 42.0 / 49.0 / 56.0%. After the wearer uses Ultimate, increases SPD by 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s).

Sources: Stellar Warp
A decent option for enhancing her Ultimate's damage, while also providing some energy upon entering battle. Unfortunately it doesn't' provide any additional bonuses that other Light Cones offer, but it allows Rappa to access her Ultimate much sooner at the start of a fight, which may be beneficial.

Rappa Build Comments

Character Overview Kit Overview Team Synergy

Character Overview

Rappa is a 5-Star Erudition character who focuses heavily on Break DMG and is especially effective in AoE scenarios. Her kit allows her to deal Toughness DMG even when enemies don't have an Imaginary Weakness, while also giving her increased Weakness Break Efficiency and Break Effect.

Unlike some other Break characters, Rappa can continue dealing damage after enemies have been Weakness Broken through a combination of Break DMG and Super Break DMG. She also provides a useful team-wide benefit by increasing the amount of Break DMG enemies take, making her a strong option for teams built around the Break playstyle.

Kit Overview

Rappa's Skill deals AoE damage to all enemies, but her Ultimate is where most of her gameplay comes from. After using her Ultimate, Rappa enters the Sealform state, immediately gaining an extra turn and 3 points of Chroma Ink. While in Sealform, Rappa gains increased Weakness Break Efficiency and additional Break Effect. She also cannot use her Skill or Ultimate during this state, instead relying on her Enhanced Basic ATK.

Rappa's Enhanced Basic ATK uses 1 point of Chroma Ink and consists of three attacks. The first two attacks deal Blast damage, while the final hit damages all enemies. This attack can also reduce Toughness even when the enemy doesn't have an Imaginary Weakness, although it does so at reduced effectiveness.

Rappa's Talent is what allows her to deal much more Break DMG. Whenever an enemy has their Weakness Broken, she gains Charge, which can stack up to 10 times. When the final hit of her Enhanced Basic ATK is used, Rappa consumes her Charge to increase the Break DMG dealt to enemies. The more Charge she has stored, the stronger this additional Break DMG becomes. Her Talent can also deal Toughness DMG regardless of an enemy's Weakness Type, making it easier for Rappa to Break multiple enemies.

Her Bonus Traces further improve her Break-focused gameplay. Breaking Elite or stronger enemies gives her additional Charge and Energy, while another Trace allows her Enhanced Basic ATK to deal Super Break DMG. She can also increase the Break DMG enemies take, with the effect becoming stronger as her ATK increases.

Team Synergy

Rappa works best in teams built around Break DMG and Super Break DMG. Ruan Mei is particularly useful because her Weakness Break Efficiency helps Rappa Break enemies faster, while her ability to extend the duration of Weakness Broken enemies gives Rappa more time to take advantage of her Break damage.

Fugue is another strong teammate for Rappa. Her Exo-Toughness mechanic allows enemies to be Broken multiple times, which works extremely well with Rappa's Charge system. More Weakness Breaks mean more Charge for Rappa, while also helping her Energy regeneration and making it easier for her to maintain her Ultimate cycle.

Harmony Trailblazer is also valuable because Rappa can make good use of the additional Super Break DMG provided by their kit. This works particularly well alongside Rappa's Enhanced Basic ATK, which can already trigger Super Break DMG.

For the sustain slot, Gallagher and Lingsha are both strong options for a Break team. They can contribute to the team's Break-focused gameplay while keeping the team alive. Rappa can technically be used without every one of these characters, but she benefits heavily from having teammates who help her Break enemies more consistently. This is especially important because her damage drops when she is unable to gain Charge or maintain her Sealform state.

Overall, Rappa is a very strong AoE Break DPS who can deal impressive damage when her kit is used correctly. She does require more careful management than some other Break characters, particularly when it comes to her Energy, Charge, and enemy selection, but when everything comes together, she can deal huge amounts of damage across the entire enemy team.

Rappa's Best Eidolons

  • E1 – Rappa's best Eidolon, allows the bypass 15% of the enemy DEF while in Sealform, while also recovering Energy when Sealform ends, allowing her to deal more damage and return to her Ultimate faster.
  • E2 – A strong Eidolon to stop at if you no longer want to keep investing, as Rappa's first two hits of her Enhanced Basic ATK deal increased Toughness Reduction to the targeted enemy while in Sealform. This makes the Eidolon particularly valuable for Super Break teams.
  • E6 – A useful Eidolon that gives Rappa 5 Charge at the start of battle and raises her maximum Charge by 5, increasing her overall Break DMG. She can also quickly regain the extra Charge by using the third hit of her Enhanced Basic ATK.
  • E4 – During Rappa's Sealform state she increases all her allies SPD.
