While in the Unarmored state, the enemy target receives 10.0 / 12.0 / 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0% increased DMG, lasting for 2 turn(s). If the target is under a DoT state inflicted by the wearer, there is a 60.0% base chance to upgrade the "Unarmored" state inflicted by the wearer to the "Cornered" state, which additionally increases the DMG the enemy target receives by 14.0 / 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0 / 22.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). During this period, the wearer cannot inflict "Unarmored" on the target.

Those Many Springs is a great like cone for Guinaifen as it not only increases her EHR by a decent amount but also increase the amount of damage the enemy takes while in the "unarmored state" by 10%. If the enemy is under her "Burn" DoT effect the unarmored state has a chance to be upgraded to "Cornered" which also increases the amount of damage the enemy takes by a further 14%.

Increases the wearer's SPD by 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0 / 27.0 / 30.0%. After the wearer uses an attack, there is a 120.0% base chance to inflict the "Bamboozle" state on every enemy target. While under the "Bamboozle" state, enemy targets have their DEF decreased by 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0 / 22.0 / 24.0% for 2 turn(s). If the wearer's SPD is higher than or equal to 170, there is a 120.0% base chance to inflict the "Theft" state on every enemy target. While under the "Theft" state, enemy targets have their DEF decreased by 8.0 / 9.0 / 10.0 / 11.0 / 12.0% for 2 turn(s). When "Bamboozle" or "Theft" is repeatedly inflicted, only the most recently inflicted instance takes effect.

Lies Dance on the Breeze is another good 5-star light cone option for Guinaifen. This light cone increases Guinaifen's speed while also reducing enemy defence when inflicted with the bamboozled state. If Guinaifen has a speed of 170 or more then the enemy defence is reduced even further. Guinaifen will want to have high amounts of speed so that she can take turns more often allowing her to apply her debuff more frequently.

When an enemy target gets inflicted with a debuff by the wearer, there is a 80.0% base chance for them to enter "Enthrallment," lasting for 3 turn(s). Effects of the same type cannot stack. While the target is in "Enthrallment," for every 1 debuff applied by the wearer on the target, increases the target's received DoT by 5.0 / 6.3 / 7.5 / 8.8 / 10.0%, stacking up to 6 time(s). When the target gets attacked by an ally, increases the attacker's SPD by 10.0 / 12.5 / 15.0 / 17.5 / 20.0% for 3 turn(s). When the wearer gets knocked down, removes all "Enthrallment."

Prisoner in Deep Confinement

2-Piece Set: Increases ATK by 12.0%.

4-Piece Set: For every DoT the enemy target is afflicted with, the wearer will ignore 6.0% of its DEF when dealing DMG to it. This effect is valid for a max of 3 DoTs.

This 4-piece set is an excellent choice for Guinaifen. As a DoT focused character, each DoT affecting an enemy allows her attacks to ignore 6% of their DEF when dealing damage, stacking up to 3 times for a total of 18% DEF ignore. This works well with her play style, as her primary role is to apply and maintain Burn, maximising continuous damage over time. The 2-piece of this set increases Guinaifen's ATK by 12%, enhancing both her damage and the effectiveness of her DoT.

Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge

2-Piece Set: Increases Break Effect by 16.0%.

4-Piece Set: If the wearer's Break Effect is 150.0% or higher, the Break DMG dealt to the enemy target ignores 10.0% of their DEF. If the wearer's Break Effect is 250.0% or higher, the Super Break DMG dealt to the enemy target additionally ignores 15.0% of their DEF.

This 4-piece set increases Guinaifen's break effect and when her break effect is 150% or more the break damage dealt will ignore part of the enemy DEF. This relic is only to be used when she is in a Super Break team.

Revelry by the Sea

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12.0%. When the wearer's ATK is higher than or equal to 2400/3600, increases the DoT DMG dealt by 12.0%/24.0% respectively.

This is a great set for Guinaifen which provides her with an additional 12% ATK. If her ATK % is higher than 2400/3600 it increases her DoT DMG by 12%/24%. Guinaifen should easily meet the first requirement due to her build wanting a decent amount of starting ATK %.

Fleet of the Ageless

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Max HP by 12.0%. When the wearer's SPD reaches 120 or higher, all allies' ATK increases by 8.0%.

Fleet of the Ageless increases Guinaifen's Max HP and when her SPD reaches 120 or higher it grants a team wide ATK% buff. This makes it a strong support option, as Guinaifen can easily meet the SPD requirement while boosting the damage output of the entire team.

Lushaka, the Sunken Seas

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. If the wearer is not the first character in the team lineup, then increases the ATK of the first character in the team lineup by 12.0%.

Lushaka is a good option for Guinaifen when you need the extra energy regen. This set also helps to increase the ally in the first slot ATK % which is great when paired in a team with a ATK focus DPS.

Firmament Frontline: Glamoth

2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12.0%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12.0%/18.0% more DMG.

This Planar Set is another good set that Guinaifen can use. This set provides Guinaifen with 12% ATK as well as a further 12/18% DMG buff when her SPD is greater or equal to 135/160.

Penacony, Land of the Dreams

2-Piece Set: Increases wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 5.0%. Increases DMG by 10.0% for all other allies that are of the same Type as the wearer.

Only use this set when you have allies in the team that are the same element as Guinaifen or you won't get the whole effects.

Character Overview

Guinaifen is a universal 4-star Fire Nihility character. She acts as both a debuffer and a solid sub-DPS. Her main role is increasing her teams overall damage through Firekiss, a stacking debuff that makes enemies take more damage from everyone on your team. She also contributes decent personal damage through Burn based DoT effects, making her effective in both DoT focused teams and more general teams. She works fine at base, but she scales incredibly well with the right investment.

Kit Overview

Guinaifen's kit focuses around applying burn and converting it into damage. Her Skill deals Blast Fire DMG and applies Burn to multiple enemies, while her Talent automatically inflicts Firekiss whenever enemies take Burn damage, increasing the damage they receive and allowing the effect to stack. Her Ultimate deals AoE Fire DMG and immediately triggers a portion of the Burn damage currently affecting enemies. This increases her overall damage output while helping apply and maintain Firekiss stacks more quickly, further amplifying the damage enemies take. Through her traces, she can also apply burn with Basic Attacks, giving her greater Skill Point flexibility and allowing her to maintain her debuffs while generating resources for the team. Together, these abilities make her a reliable debuffer with strong continuos damage and excellent synergy with burn and DoT teams.

Guinaifen's Best Eidolons

E6 – Guinaifen's E6 is her most important Eidolon. It increases the Firekiss stack by 1 for a total of 4 stacks which increases the amount of damage received by the enemy.
E1 – Her E1 has a 100% base chance to reduce the targeted enemy Effect RES by 10% when using her skill.
E2 – The damage multiplier of the burn status is increased by 40% when applied by Guinaifen's skill or basic attack.
E4 – Each time an enemy takes Burn damage inflicted by Guinaifen, she regenerates 2 Energy. This helps her charge her Ultimate faster, allowing her to trigger Burn damage more frequently.
