Introductions

Dr. Ratio is a 5-Star character with the Imaginary element who follows the Path of The Hunt. Dr. Ratio is a single target DPS specialising in Follow-Up ATKs in addition to being able to self buff his CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG while providing debuffs such as SPD reduction and lowering enemy Effect RES. This makes Dr. Ratio very capable in teams that consist of allies who provide many debuffs to suit his Follow-Up ATK playstyle.
Our Dr. Ratio Build Guide will show you the best Light Cones, Relics, and team compositions to help you build the best Dr. Ratio.

When using Ultimate to attack the enemy target, the wearer receives the "Disputation" effect, which increases DMG dealt by 36.0 / 42.0 / 48.0 / 54.0 / 60.0% and enables their Follow-Up ATKs to ignore 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0 / 36.0 / 40.0% of the target's DEF. This effect lasts for 2 turns.

Character Overview Kit Overview Team Synergy

Character Overview

Dr. Ratio does best at defeating high HP targets through his frequent Follow-Up ATKs. While his Skill and Ultimate deal decent single-target damage, the majority of his output comes from repeatedly triggering his Talent, making him a strong sustained Follow-Up ATK damage dealer.

Dr. Ratio’s gameplay revolves around attacking enemies inflicted with debuffs. The more debuffs a target has, the more consistently he can trigger his Follow-Up ATK, while also benefiting from additional damage bonuses and permanent CRIT stat increases throughout the battle. Once the required debuff threshold is met, his rotation becomes more consistent, allowing him to deal reliable damage while generating Energy.

Although he remains primarily focused on single-target encounters, his Follow-Up ATKs can still target another enemy if the original target is defeated, helping him maintain pressure across multi-wave fights. With the right team supporting his debuff requirements, Dr. Ratio offers excellent sustained damage and remains a dependable choice against bosses and elite enemies.

Kit Overview

Dr. Ratio's Skill deals single-target Imaginary damage and serves as the primary trigger for his Talent. After using his Skill, he has a chance to perform a powerful Follow-Up ATK, with the activation chance increasing based on the number of debuffs affecting the target. At three debuffs, this Follow-Up ATK becomes guaranteed, making consistent debuff application a core part of his gameplay.

His Ultimate deals single-target damage and marks an enemy with Wiseman's Folly. While this mark is active, allied attacks against the marked target cause Dr. Ratio to launch additional Follow-Up ATKs outside of his turn, allowing him to continue dealing damage even when he is not actively taking actions.

Dr. Ratio's Bonus Abilities further reinforce this playstyle. He permanently gains CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG by repeatedly attacking debuffed enemies, can inflict a small Effect RES reduction to help maintain debuff uptime, and receives a significant damage bonus against heavily debuffed targets. Together, these effects enable Dr. Ratio to maximise both his damage and Follow-Up ATK frequency. Be careful not to add too much CRIT Rate when building his kit though as this will provide no additional benefit if he over caps during battle.

Team Synergy

Dr. Ratio performs best alongside teammates who can consistently apply multiple debuffs. Reaching at least three debuffs on an enemy is one of the most important requirements in his kit, as it guarantees his Talent's Follow-Up ATK after every Skill use. Additional debuffs also increase the damage he deals, making dedicated debuffers extremely valuable.

Characters like Silver Wolf, Jiaoqiu and Pela are excellent partners thanks to their ability to maintain debuffs while also increasing the team's overall damage. Topaz is another standout teammate, as her Follow-Up ATK synergy significantly enhances Dr. Ratio's overall performance, though additional debuff support may still be required depending on her build.

Dr. Ratio's Best Eidolons

  • E6 – One of Dr. Ratio's most impactful Eidolons, it increases his Wiseman's Folly count by 1, allowing him to trigger an additional Follow-Up ATK. It also increases the DMG of his Follow-Up ATKs by 50%, resulting in a substantial boost to his overall damage output.
  • E2 – A powerful damage boost that adds extra Imaginary DMG to every Follow-Up ATK based on the target's debuffs. In teams that consistently apply multiple debuffs, this effect frequently reaches its maximum of four triggers, making it one of Dr. Ratio's strongest damage increases.
  • E4 – Each time Dr. Ratio's Talent is triggered, he regenerates 15 Energy for himself, allowing him to use his Ultimate more frequently. As Dr. Ratio's Ultimate has a high Energy cost, this is highly beneficial for him.
  • E1 – Expands Summation's maximum stack count by 4 and instantly provides all four stacks at the start of battle. This removes the need to build stacks over time, letting Dr. Ratio access the Trace's full damage potential right from the start.
