Mists of Pandaria Classic Assassination Rogue Enchants and Consumables

Mists of Pandaria a relatively straight forward expansion when it comes to Enchants Gems and Consumables, it is important to keep caps such as your Hit, Expertise and even in very specific situations haste breakpoints in mind but generally speaking our goal is to maximize the amount of Agility our character has. Below is a list of the optimal consumables and enchants to help you get the most out of your Assassination.

As a Assassination Rogue maximizing our Agility is key so it is not often worth matching socket bonuses unless it will is needed to reach a Hit or Expertise Cap or offers the same amount of Agility or more. A general rule to follow is if it does not offer 60 or more Agility and you have reached your Hit/Expertise cap you can fill the slot with Delicate Primordial Ruby.

Ideally you will have access to Pandaren Treasure Noodle Soup but if not consider the individual use foods recommended below to increase your Agility rating.

As a Assassination Rogue we will use Flask of Spring Blossoms

Virmen's Bite is our default choice as a Assassination Rogue. This should ideally be paired with your Vendetta cooldown to maximize the benefit of both Vendetta and your Potion but the most important thing is to use it when you are guaranteed to have up time on your target for the duration of the Potion.

Master Healing Potion is a quick burst of healing that may allow you to survive damage that would otherwise be deadly so its important to always be ready to use this as an impromptu defensive cool down.

While you will not have much time to cast them and any kind of damage taken will interrupt their healing, Heavy Windwool Bandage can be the difference between surviving or dying so it is a great way to heal yourself in an emergency if you find yourself in a situation where you would likely die without any incoming healing.
