Mists of Pandaria Classic Windwalker Monk Spell Summary
On this page, we present you with all spells and procs that you need to understand as a Windwalker Monk in Mists of Pandaria Classic.
Windwalker Monk Spells, Cooldowns and Abilities
On this page, we outline the buffs, debuffs, and utility abilities that a Windwalker Monk contributes to a raid in Mists of Pandaria (Patch 5.4). We also include a list of equivalent effects provided by other classes. For interactions of spells, cooldowns, spells obtained from talents and how to best use them, there is a more detailed guide in the Windwalker Monk Rotations Guide. Windwalker Monk specific spells from talents can be found in the Windwalker Monk Talents Guide.
Buffs
Legacy of the White Tiger Increases the Critical Strike Chance of all party and raid members by 5%. Does not stack with:
Leader of the Pack,
Fearless Roar,
Furious Howl,
Still Water,
Terrifying Roar, and
Arcane Brilliance.
Legacy of the Emperor Increases the Strength, Agility, and Intellect of all party and raid members by 5%. Does not stack with:
Mark of the Wild,
Embrace of the Shale Spider, and
Blessing of Kings.
Utility
Detox removes all Poison and Disease effects from a friendly target (8-second cooldown).
Grapple Weapon Disarms the target, preventing them from using their weapon temporarily.
Nimble Brew removes root, stun, fear, and horror effects from the Monk. Also reduces the duration of these effects by 60% for 6 seconds.
Spear Hand Strike interrupts the target's casting and prevents spells from that school from being cast for a short duration. (15-second cooldown)
Zen Meditation redirects the next five harmful spells cast against party or raid members to the Monk. Also reduces all magic damage taken by the Monk by 90% for 6 seconds.
Crowd Control
Detox Flying Serpent Kick Slows all enemies in the landing area, functioning as an area-of-effect (AoE) slow.
Disable Slows the target's movement speed by 50%. If cast a second time on the same target without the debuff expiring, it roots the target in place.
-
Paralysis Incapacitates a single target, preventing all actions. The effect is broken if the target takes damage.
