Fury Warrior Guide for Mists of Pandaria
Rather than using a single weapon, Fury chooses to wield a
weapon in each hand. You can choose between
Titan's Grip, which allows
you to wield a 2-handed weapon in each hand, or
Single-Minded Fury,
which increases your damage dealt when wielding two 1-handed weapons instead.
Fury has a very active playstyle, always having an
ability ready to use. Unfortunately, this spec does not start off strong
and requires very high end-game gear to fully unlock its potential.
Is Fury Warrior Viable in Mists of Pandaria
Fury Warrior is an average
DPS class in Mists of Pandaria PvE content. Similar to previous expansions,
Fury starts of very weak early on and scales up throughout the
expansions lifespan, becoming fairly powerful towards the end.
Fury
Warrior is great in 10-man raid groups as it can
cover numerous buffs and debuffs. That being said
Fury is still
a melee DPS with limited unique utility, making it unlikely that many groups will
bring multiple DPS Warriors to a raid, especially
when you can just play the much more powerful
Arms spec
instead.
Strongest melee-cleave & AoE damage possible.
Amazing sustained single-target damage output.
Extremely durable, able to survive most mechanics.
Great mobility and uptime.
Resource issues, often times Rage starved.
Extremely gear reliant to perform well.
Best Races for Fury Warrior in Mists of Pandaria
Warrior is the only class in the game that can be played by any
race, allowing you to pick whatever you want; with that said, certain racials
provide more benefit than others, weither its in PvE, PvP, or different specs.
Below are our recommended races for both the Alliance and Horde
Fury Warriors.
Alliance
Worgen remains
the strongest Alliance race for DPS, as
Viciousness grants a full 1%
crit chance, more than any other racial. This is especially important for DPS
Warriors for a higher uptime of
Enrage.
Worgen

Darkflight
Flayer
Viciousness
Horde
Orc remains the
go-to choice for DPS
Warriors for the 1% expertise from
Axe Specialization, and the mini-trinket activation from
Blood Fury.

Best Professions for Fury Warrior
Mists of Pandaria balances most professions to be an equal amount of bonus stats, with most professions giving an average of 320 stats increase. That being said, there are always certain advantages and disadvantages to each profession, making certain professions slightly stronger than others.
Engineering — Engineering remains the best in slot profession thanks to the new tinker
Synapse Springs.
Grounded Plasma Shield, another new tinker, is a decent on use defensive shield that can save your life.
Nitro Boosts remain a solid option for movement speed bursts during fights.
Blacksmithing — Allows you to add an additional socket to your gloves and bracers with
Socket Gloves and
Socket Bracer. While this is about the same stats gain as most other professions early on, once epic gems are introduced this profession becomes much stronger.
