Arclight Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Arclight build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Arclight is a 5-star Sword Vanguard Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Electric element.

In our Arclight guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Arclight, from building the best Gear and Weapons, to important stat priorities and combos.

Arclight's Best Weapons

White Night Nova
  • Main Attribute +132 (9/9)
  • Arts Intensity +78 (9/9)

Infliction: White Night Nova (4/9):
Arts DMG Dealt +19.2%.
After the wielder applies Combustion or Electrification, the wielder gains Arts DMG Dealt +19.2% and Arts Intensity +40 for 15s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
White Night Nova is a 6-star weapon, increasing Arts DMG and Arts Intensity once the wielder applies Combustion or Electrification. This will boost Arclight's damage, and more importantly it will boost the effectiveness of the Electrification she applies.
Twelve Questions
  • Agility +124 (9/9)
  • Attack +31.2% (9/9)

Infliction: Sincere Interrogation (9/9):
Secondary Attribute +14%.
After the wielder consumes an Arts Reaction, ATK +21% for 20s.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 2. Duration of each stack is counted separately.
Twelve Questions is a decent 5-star option for Arclight since it boosts both her Agility & Attack. When the Operator consumes an Arts Reaction it will increase their Attack for 20 Seconds, giving Arclight some additional damage.
Prominent Edge
  • Agility +93 (9/9)
  • Physical DMG +26% (9/9)

Suppression: Emergency Boost (9/9):
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +33.6% for 20s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Prominent Edge is a band aid 4-star weapon for Arclight. It'll get the job done by boosting her Agility and Physical Damage while also benefiting from the buff provided by the weapon itself. Not the greatest choice but it'll carry you well untill you obtain better.

Arclight's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the damage of your Arclight. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

  • White Night Nova: Main Attribute Boost, Arts Intensity Boost, and Infliction, farmable in Origin Lodespring and Power Plateau.
  • Twelve Questions: Agility Boost, Atk Boost, and Infliction, farmable in Originium Science Park and Power Plateau.
  • Prominent Edge: Agility Boost, Physical DMG Boost, and Suppression, farmable in Originium Science Park and Origin Lodespring.

Essences can be further upgraded through a system called Etching which will be a long-term investment due to how much Sanity it takes to fully max out a weapon. You may therefore want to farm and Etch Essences for a signature weapon already if you plan on getting it in the near-future, even if you do not have the weapon yet. A simple +1/+1/+1 Essence for a temporary weapon like Prominent Edge will be good enough until you can get your hands on Arclights's White Night Nova.

Best Gear for Arclight

Frontiers
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Combo Skill Cooldown Reduction +15%.
After the wearer's skill recovers SP, the team gains DMG +16% for 15s. This effect cannot stack.
Frontiers is Arclight's best set, providing all the attributes she wants, while also further reducing her Combo Skill's cooldown. The real benefit of this set is the team-wide damage buff it grants whenever Arclight restores SP, which she does better and more frequently than most, guaranteeing a very high uptime on the buff.
  • Body: Frontiers Set — Agility, Intellect, Normal Skill Efficiency
  • Hand: Frontiers Offpiece — Agility, Intellect, Normal Skill Efficiency
  • Kit 1: Frontiers Set — Agility, Intellect, Sub-attribute
  • Kit 2: Frontiers Set — Agility, Intellect, Sub-attribute

Leveling Gear for Arclight

AIC Light
3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP +500.
After the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer gains ATK +20 for 5s.

The AIC Light set is a decent choice for Arclight while initally starting out until you can get better pieces as your account level increases. Since her two best stats are Intellect & Agility it can be harder to find the right combo of the stats to slot in, which is why we shall also be using the Miner Vest as a filler.

  • Body: Miner Vest Set — Agility, Intellect, HP
  • Gloves: AIC Light Set — Agility, Intellect, Combo Skill Efficiency
  • Kit 1: AIC Light Set — Intellect, Combo Skill Efficiency
  • Kit 2: AIC Light Set — Intellect, Combo Skill Efficiency

Although there will be much better sets for Arclight to utilize in later content, this is a great filler set that will improve her output on the battlefield. This way you not only get her set bonus for a bonus 500hp for extra survivability but increases output with her Combos.

Arclight's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: Tempestuous Arc > Peal of Thunder > Exploding Blitz > Seek and Hunt

Arclight will largely be used for her ability to generate SP, making her Battle Skill and Combo Skill the most important ones to level up. There are certain break points (Lvl 6 and 10) at which you gain additional SP Recovery from her Combo Skill, so you may not need to level it up if it only grants one extra SP three levels down the line.

How to Play Arclight

Arclight wants a lot of Electrification going on to fully utilize her Combo Skill, while her Battle Skill does exactly that. Her Ultimate also creates Electrification if the enemy already has Electric Infliction, so do not use it unless the enemy has the debuff from another source already.

Her Battle Skill should be used almost on cooldown due to the high SP recovery it provides, but it will only do so if it consumes an already existing Electrification, so beware of accidentally wasting it! Her team value tends to come from the Electrification effect itself, which debilitates enemies by making them take additional Arts damage, scaling with her Arts Intensity.
