Avywenna Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Avywenna build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Avywenna is a 5-star Polearm Striker Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Electric element.

In our Avywenna guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Avywenna, from building the best Gear and Weapons, to important stat priorities and combos.

Avywenna's Best Weapons

Cohesive Traction
  • Willpower +124 (9/9)
  • Electric DMG +34.67% (9/9)

Suppression: Concentric Circles (9/9):
Combo Skill DMG Dealt +28%.
When the wielder casts a combo skill, during the next battle skill cast within 30s, the wielder gains Electric DMG Dealt +28%.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3. Duration of each stack is counted separately.
Cohesive Traction is Avywenna's signature weapon. Beyond boosting her Main Attribute, it will increase her Electric Damage and grant a Potential Skill that is absolutely perfect for her. It permanently her Combo Skill damage, and after using her Combo Skill, it also increases the Electric Damage of her next Battle Skill. This buff can be stacked up multiple times, for truly amazing Battle Skill burst damage.
JET
  • Main Attribute +132 (9/9)
  • Attack +39% (9/9)

Suppression: Astrophysics (4/9):
Arts DMG Dealt +19.2%.
When the wielder casts a battle skill, the wielder gains Arts DMG Dealt +19.2% for 15s. When the wielder casts a combo skill, Arts DMG Dealt +19.2% for 15s.
The two effects apply separately and do not stack with themselves.
JET is Avywenna's most suitable 6-star Polearm, running on the generic Main Attribute scalar. The Attack Boost, as well as Arts DMG Dealt offered by the Skill Attribute will offering some midling damage increases.
Aggeloslayer
  • Willpower +93 (9/9)
  • Arts DMG Bonus +26% (9/9)

Suppression: Emergency Boost (9/9):
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +33.6% for 20s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
4-star weapons are pretty bare-bones and there's not that many to pick from. In Avywenna's case, Aggeloslayer is the only 4-star Polearm that enhances her Main Attribute. It also offers a small baseline boost to her Electric Damage, and after performing her Battle Skill, the weapon will grant a respectable Attack boost.

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the damage of your Avywenna. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

  • Cohesive Traction: Agility, Electric DMG Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.
  • JET: Main Attribute, Attack Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.
  • Aggeloslayer: Agility, Arts DMG Boost, and Suppression, farmable in The Hub and Originium Science Park.

Essences can be further upgraded through a system called Etching which will be a long-term investment due to how much Sanity it takes to fully max out a weapon. You may therefore want to farm and Etch Essences for a signature weapon already if you plan on getting it in the near-future, even if you do not have the weapon yet.

Best Gear for Avywenna

Bonekrusha
3-piece set effect: Wearer's ATK +15%.
When the wearer casts a combo skill, the wearer gains 1 stack of Bonekrushing Smash that grants the wearer's next battle skill DMG Dealt +30%. Bonekrushing Smash can stack 2 time(s).
At first glance there are a couple sets that Avywenna could make great use of. MI Security which increases base Critical Rate and ATK a little, or Type 50 Yinglung, which would enhance the power of Avywenna's Combo Skills. However, we found a different set to be the most suitable: The Bonekrusha set.
  • Body: Bonekrusha Set - Bonekrusha Poncho T1 — Will, Agility, Ultimate Gain Efficiency
  • Hand: Type 50 Yinglung Offpiece - Type 50 Yinglung Gloves T1 — Will, Agility, Combo Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 1: Bonekrusha Set - Bonekrusha Figurine — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 2: Bonekrusha Set - Bonekrusha Figurine — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
Avywenna's gameplay design wants you to set up for a really big burst by laying down several Thunderlances from her Combo Skill and Ultimate, before unleashing her Burst Skill. The Bonekrusha set further incentivizes this kind of gameplay, granting a stacking damage buffs to your Battle Skill. Bonekrushing Smash will then grant +60% Damage as Avywenna uses her Battle Skill to recall her six Thunderlances, dealing massive damage. Definitely a powerful combination worth checking out!

Leveling Gear for Avywenna

While the above gear set is the optimal choice, it might take you some time before you will be able to craft it. Below are some of the more early and mid-game sets that we recommend until you've reached the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

Aburrey's Legacy
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Skill DMG +24%.
When the wearer casts a battle skill, combo skill, or ultimate, the wearer gains ATK +5% for 15s. The buff from each of the three skill types is unique and does not stack with itself.
This is the set you'll be using for the the rest of Chapter One, using it as both 3* and 4-star Gear.
  • Body: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Light Armor T1 — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
  • Hand: Mordvolt Resistant Offpiece - Mordvolt Resistant Gloves T1 — Will, Agility, Attack
  • Kit 1: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Sensor Chip — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 2: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Sensor Chip — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
The set effect will grant you more Skill Damage, and bonus Attack after performing a Skill. A good baseline for a DPS type character like Avywenna.
AIC Light
3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP +500.
After the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer gains ATK +20 for 5s.
Avywenna's first gear set at 2* is the AIC Light Armor set. This set will increase Avywenna's Will the most, and grant her more skill efficiency.
  • Body: Miner Cleansuit Offpiece - Miner Cleansuit — Will, Agility, HP
  • Hand: AIC Light Set - AIC Tactical Gloves — Intellect, Agility, Combo Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 1: AIC Light Set - AIC Ceramic Plate — Will, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 2: AIC Light Set - AIC Ceramic Plate — Will, Battle Skill DMG Bonus

Avywenna's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: Thunderlance: Interdiction > Thunderlance: Strike > Thunderlance: Final Shock > Thunderlance: Blitz

A lot of Avywenna's damage output is built around her Battle Skill, followed by her Combo and Ultimate skills which fuel her Battle Skill. You can prioritize Avywenna's Basic Attack in second place if you plan on using her as your Controlled Operator.

How to Play Avywenna

Thunderlances galore! You will need another Operator to apply Electric Infliction or Electrification before you can start charging up Avywenna, but once you do, she will do fantastic damage and feel very rewarding to play. We'll talk more about Operators who can kickstart Avywenna's damage in the Teambuilding.

The buildup to Avywenna's burst is simple, but effective. Since her Battle Skill pulls back all Thunderlances and Thunderlance EX you put out, you will want to ramp up the damage as much as possible by casting her Combo Skill and Ultimate before using your Battle Skill. The fastest way to do so is by having your Controlled Operator cast their Final Strike, which will trigger Avywenna's Combo skill.

You can repeat this process three times before the Thunderlances start disappearing, and ideally you add a Thunderlance EX to the mix by also casting your Ultimate. Once you've set up the field, you can unleash her Battle Skill, which will return all Thunderlances to Avywenna, dealing massive damage and building up high stacks of Electric Infliction to boot.

Avywenna's second Potential increases the duration of her Thunderlances from 30s to 50s. This gives you room to lay down a fourth Combo Skill to get 12 Thunderlances on the field before pulling the trigger on her Battle Skill. The very final Mastery on her Combo Skill also reduces the cooldown from 13s to 12s. This minimal change gives you just enough time to a fifth Combo Skill out, with a potential of 15 Thunderlances to reel back in when you use your Battle Skill, for an absolutely massive hit!
