"Echoes of War - Season of Recalling" Event Guide

Welcome to Arknights: Endfield's seasonally rotating end-game Challenge Event! This is a new permanent event series that runs in seasons composed of multiple cycles. Each cycle lasts for no less than 7 days, meaning some can last a little bit longer. Each cycle consists of 3 stages, selected from a wide pool of different ones.

"Warfare has left its echoing mark upon your blades. Feel it. Study it. Lament it. Fight again and secure the medals of glory, Endministrator!"

This event series also features a Rating system. Each stage has three levels of difficulty. Completing their three levels of difficulty grants the corresponding amount of stars, with the 3-star rating being rewarded for completing the Bonus Challenge Goals on Brutal difficulty.

The total star rating of all stages for a cycle gets tallied up as a Total Rating for the Cycle, for a total possible combined rating of 12 stars per cycle. This Total Rating is preserved and reset each new Cycle. At the end of the Season, your ratings from each cycle across the Season will be added up to determine your Final Rating. This Final Rating will in turn determine your Season Title, which you can apply to your Profile Page.

Stages, Strategies & Mechanics

Below you'll be able to find comprehensive information on each stage, their mechanics, enemy intel, and strategy recommendations on how to clear them. The following mechanics apply to every stage:

  • Enemies have better stats.
  • Only HP Treatment tacticals and consumables can be used.
Cycle II (Current) Cycle I
Skirmishers' Æthillu Silver Watercutter Age of Axes
Scars of Landbreaking Silver Watercutter Howling of Undying Beasts
2.1.

Scars of Landbreaking

2.1.1.

Bonus Challenge Goals

  • Brutal Difficulty: Clear within 3 minutes (timer has more than 7 minutes left).
2.1.2.

Mechanics

  • Defeating the Bonekrusher Vanguard grants Stagger Efficiency Bonus +50%.
  • Defeating the Bonekrusher Arsonist grants Arts Intensity +100.
  • Defeating the Bonekrusher Executioner grants Skill DMG Dealt +100%.
  • Defeating the Heavy Ram grants Basic Attack DMG Dealt +100%.
2.1.3.

Enemy Intel

  • Bonekrusher Vanguard ( Physical RES C, Heat RES D, Electric RES D, Cryo RES D, Nature RES D)
    • This enemy will block all incoming attacks unless he is attacking. Stagger him to shatter his shield.
  • Bonekrusher Arsonist ( Physical RES D, Heat RES B, Electric RES D, Cryo RES D, Nature RES D)
    • This enemy can continuously spew fire at the operators. Try to move behind this enemy to avoid the flames.
  • Bonekrusher Executioner ( Physical RES D, Heat RES D, Electric RES D, Cryo RES D, Nature RES D)
    • This enemy can continuously spew fire at the operators. Try to move behind this enemy to avoid the flames.
  • Heavy Ram ( Physical RES C, Heat RES C, Electric RES D, Cryo RES D, Nature RES C)
    • This enemy has no special abilities.
2.1.4.

Strategy

Electric and Cryo are the most favored matchups for this stage. We recommend killing the Bonekrusher Executioner for the Skill DMG Dealt bonus first.

2.2.

Silver Watercutter

2.2.1.

Bonus Challenge Goals

  • Brutal Difficulty: Clear within 3 minutes (timer has more than 7 minutes left).
2.2.2.

Mechanics

  • After applying Arts Infliction 20 time(s), all operators gain Final DMG Dealt +50%.
2.2.3.

Enemy Intel

2.2.4.

Strategy

Heat and Nature are the most favored matchups for this stage. The enemies spawn in fairly tight groupings, so go ahead and AOE them down at your leisure. If dodging to avoid getting your operators hit with the Cryo Inflictions proves challenging, consider leading with Estella as your controlled operator. Her Talent, Laziness Pays Off Now, lets her ignore Cryo Infliction and even reduces incoming Cryo DMG by 20%.

2.3.

Howling of Undying Beasts

2.3.1.

Bonus Challenge Goals

  • Brutal Difficulty: Clear within 3 minutes (timer has more than 7 minutes left).
2.3.2.

Mechanics

  • The Skydrummer will not enter its Enraged state.
  • After entering battle, the Skydrummer gains 50 Resistance to all elements.
2.3.3.

Enemy Intel

  • Skydrummer ( Physical RES D, Heat RES D, Electric RES D, Cryo RES D, Nature RES D)
    • Low HP triggers the enemy's Enraged state. During this state, the enemy performs its charge-up attacks more often, deals more DMG, and gains DMG Reduction. Interrupt the enemy in time to end the Enraged state.
2.3.4.

Strategy

On the face of it, Skydrummer has no particularly favored matchups, and its only Ability is disabled by the stage mechanic. To combat the massive Resistance boost, focus on Susceptibility debuffs. Another option is the Corrosion Arts Reaction, which will shred the Skydrummer's Arts Resistances fairly quickly. Arcane (Array Arcana: INT) or Ardelia can apply Corrosion directly.

2.4.

Skirmishers' Æthillu

2.4.1.

Bonus Challenge Goals

  • Brutal Difficulty: Clear within 2 minutes (timer has more than 5 minutes left).
2.4.2.

Mechanics

  • Enemies cannot move but are harder to interrupt.
  • Æthillu that can only be damaged by finishers will appear in the battlefield.
  • Defeating an Æthillu will pull in all enemies, recover 50 SP, and give the controlled operator DMG Dealt +100% for 10s.
  • Defeat all Bonekrusher Ambushers to clear the stage; defeating the Æthillu is not required.
2.4.3.

Enemy Intel

  • Bonekrusher Ambusher ( Physical RES D, Heat RES D, Electric RES D, Cryo RES D, Nature RES D)
    • Immobile but harder to interrupt and continuously gains ATK.
  • Æthillu ( Physical RES C, Heat RES C, Electric RES C, Cryo RES C, Nature RES C)
    • This enemy has a powerful revival ability. The revived form has a longer attack range. It can also detonate itself to deal massive DMG.
2.4.4.

Strategy

Physical teams are favored here. The efficient strategy involves staggering and killing the Æthillu, despite not being required to clear the stage. Physical teams get the best tools for applying Stagger. There are 3 waves. For the first wave, skip the Æthillu and kill the 3 Bonekrusher Ambushers behind it. They are already close enough to AOE down. For the second and third waves, kill the Æthillu. It will pull all the Bonekrusher Ambushers into tight groupings to then finish off in short order.

2.5.

Age of Axes

2.5.1.

Bonus Challenge Goals

  • Brutal Difficulty: Clear within 1 minute (timer has more than 3 minutes left).
2.5.2.

Mechanics

  • None.
2.5.3.

Enemy Intel

  • Elite Executioner ( Physical RES D, Heat RES D, Electric RES D, Cryo RES D, Nature RES D)
    • His grab attack deals massive DMG. If an operator is grabbed, use another operator's skill to interrupt him and free the grabbed operator.
    • Dodging the charged double axe swings will not be easy. Try to interrupt him instead.
2.5.4.

Strategy

Any team will work fine here. This encounter is absurdly easy. Just kill him.
