All Free Operators Available in Arknights: Endfield

The Endministrator is a Physical Guard 6-star Operator that uses swords with two versions to choose from: A male or female option, both called Endministrator. You obtain them automatically by starting the game, and they are the very first Operator you acquire. The Endministrator can help you massively in the early stages of the game, and potentially even the late game, as they are a solid crowd control unit with great combo potential. I personally used them quite a bit in the Beta due to being so flexible in all kinds of teams.

• Should you Invest? Yes.

Perlica is a 5-star Electric Caster Operator that uses Arts Units as her weapon. You obtain Perlica during the prologue dream sequence after awakening on the Daijing. Once you're on Talos II she joins the team and will be the best secretary you could ask for! Perlica has great combo synergy with the Endministrator, and sets up other Electric units. On the Daijing, she is best put at the helm to grant stamina regen for the Operators working there.

• Should you Invest? Yes.

Chen Qianyu is a 5-star Physical Guard that uses swords. She is the mascot of the freebie team, full of energy, bubbly and (usually) always positive. Gained after meeting Andre and the prototype during the initial Story on Talos II, she combos well with the Endministrator after they use their skill to debuff the enemy. While she is not essential to the team, she is a solid unit all around and a cute character to boot! (Totally not Biased)

• Should you Invest? Not essential, but is a solid option to invest into.

Wulfgard is a 5-star Heat Caster that uses guns. He is the only free male unit of the team, who joins you after your inital AiC introduction, his role being your Land Breaker expert. He works incredibly well in Heat teams, and does ok in the full freebie team due to his combo requirements. Being the only Heat Caster you can currently get your hands on, he will be a key Operator for your journey across Talos II.

• How to Obtain: Automatically joins during the early story after AiC introduction.
• Should you Invest? Yes.

Snowshine is a 5-star Cryo Defender that uses a greatsword. She is obtainable through the pre-registration campaign, so you will be able to acquire her through the in-game mail system. While she may not see a lot of use unless you really like her design, she is great at providing defense and shields for the team, while also applying Cryo Infliction. She also provides an emergency heal on a cooldown, that triggers when any of your Operator's health drops below 60% HP. Further testing will be needed to assess her strength, but she is a definitely a solid choice for getting through early content by keeping your team alive.

• How to Obtain: Pre-registration reward.
• Should you Invest? Not Recommended. Better support units exist, but she is a cutie.

Ardelia is a 6-star Nature support Operator that uses Arts Units as her weapon. She was free during the CBT2 period along with her signature weapon, but we do not know yet whether she will remain a free unit with the full release of the game. On the off chance she is, you can look forward to a solid support unit that applies Corrosion and heals aplenty. Even if she ends up not being a free character, she is one of the standard 6-star Operators you can or will obtain sooner or later.
