Phaenna in FFXIV's Cosmic Exploration

Phaenna is the second zone related to Cosmic Exploration which released in patch 7.31 as well as the first planet players have set off to explore. Phaenna is the sixth astral body within the star system UL-9 and "three carrots" from Etheirys. A large portion of this star is made of glass including even the clouds above with the land itself being regularly pelted by molten glass. To travel to Phaenna players can speak to Drivingway in Bestways Burrow or on Sinus Ardorum.

As part of Cosmic Exploration, Phaenna features Crafting and Gathering content for both leveling and endgame players with various missions available. Initially this zone features only a small base camp which will be expanded on over time with the help of players.

Unlocking Phaenna

To unlock Phaenna, you must complete the quest Go Forth, Brave Explorers using a Lv10 or above DoH/DoL class. Start this quest by speaking to Searchingway in Sinus Ardorum (20.4, 20.0).

Phaenna does not require any relic completion or for you to be at endgame. Phaenna features a range of leveling missions and sources of old data types for your relic stages.
