Pilgrim's Traverse Floors 31-40 Guide
This page provides information about floors 31 through 40 of Pilgrim's Traverse including enemy information and boss advice.
Pilgrim's Traverse Guide for Floors 31-40
From floor 31 onwards, . On floors 31-40, the
Accursed Horde will take the form of a Sack of Gilded Light,
and Mimics can spawn from Silver Coffers.
Floors 31-39
As the first floorset of the challenge floors, mechanics from individual enemies will be more complex than those on the story floors. Some enemies will start to have untelegraphed attacks with no castbar, and the majority of attacks will come close to one-shotting non-tank players without a Pomander of Steel.
The encounter table will be located here once sufficient information has been accumulated by the community.
In the meantime, there are some enemies that should be specifically noted.
- Traverse Pegasus will use Gallop, a targeted line AoE with massive knockback. Can be LoS'd.
- Forgiven Mockery will cast telegraphed circle AoEs on players while outside of combat.
- Forgiven Hypocrisy will use Wooden Horse on distant players, a massive telegraphed cone-shaped AoE.
- Forgiven Perversion will use Unto Dust below 25% HP, an Enrage raidwide. Can be LoS'd.
- Traverse Soldierstonewill use both Hand of Judgement, a targeted attack with massive knockback, and Moatmaker, a targeted circle AoE that it will jump to and then do a second larger untelegraphed circle AoE.
- Forgiven Plaguewill use Poison Pollen Pair, a telegraphed cone-shaped AoE in front of it followed by a non-telegraphed cone-shaped AoE behind it a few seconds later.
Floor 40 Boss - Forgiven Naivety
The fourth boss of Pilgrim's Traverse, and the first of the challenge floorsets.
Boss Rotation Quick-Guide:- Summon Adds
- Blown Blessing (castbar and telegraph)
- Blown Blessing (resolution)
- Near Tide or Far Tide
- Adds Self-Destruct
- Repeat from Summon Adds
The arena is a circle, with an outer ring that inflicts a 15s DoT if entered. Shortly after being pulled, the boss will jump to the north of the arena and summon two untargetable adds that move to the Southwest and Southeast of the arena. The boss will then cast Blown Blessing, the core mechanic of the fight. Once the castbar ends, the boss will create either a blue or yellow particle effect above its head, similar to a water spout. This will be copied by the two adds one after the other, creating either a clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation.
The mechanic is resolved differently depending on the colour of the water spout. If the spout is blue, then the marked AoEs that appear once the boss jumps to the centre of the arena will be a knockback. As such, position yourself to be pushed in the direction of the next knockback, and then be pushed into the final knockback by the second one. If the spout is yellow, then the marked AoEs that appear will be point-blank circle AoEs centred on the icon visible on the edge of the arena. As such, start at south and then move either clockwise or counter-clockwise depending on which order the adds copied the boss in.
While players are resolving mechanics, the boss will cast either Near Tide or Far Tide, and the adds will become targetable and begin attacking players. If the boss is casting Near Tide, then go far away from the boss to be safe. Otherwise, if the boss is casting Far Tide, go inside the hitbox to be safe. You will want to focus down the adds at this time, as they will begin casting Self-Destruct shortly after the Tide mechanic resolves, which will cause lethal damage if allowed to resolve.
After this point, the boss will begin to loop mechanics, choosing a random colour water spout and a random Tide mechanic each time.
