Wouldn't quite say you suck since you're making the efforts to improve. I can promise you one thing....once you get set up, playing and seeing bigger numbers is the reward for your hard work. It's quite encouraging and rewarding to be heralded as a solid player and all it takes is a little pre-work and some elbow grease.

I've slotted UVLS, but I'm having a heck of a time timing its use. It seems to proc at the wrong time and I can't seem to get a chaos bolt off quickly enough. Any tips to improve this?

UVoLS is not good for Destruction. Anyways, if you try to time it, remember that it's when Chaos Bolt leaves your character, aka the spell is executed. Travel time does not matter.

Has anyone ever done a sim comparing the DPS of peeling off a CB during PA procs vs. applying Immo and casting an Incin or Conflag? I wouldn't doubt that the latter is less DPS, but it is much more manageable and lead to a few more CB's/SB's being cast over the course of a fight. Might be interesting to look at the difference to see if the extra ember gen + crits yield a higher gain than using a different trinket altogether.

Had our guilds raid night last Thursday, tried to time my procs, but I was more focused on mechanics. Until I get better at it, sticking with VTSA. Our guild is behind in progression because of RL things. Cleared MSV in one night, along with two HoF bosses.

I won Unerring Vision of Lei-Shen last night. I know that is very good for Demo. Only issue is I'm a total noob at Demo and will teach myself this week. That being said what trinket should I pair with it? I'm looking for both "newbie" and then true BIS.

I might have missed this but I am using normal wusholay's and normal volatile talisman and I would like to know is it worth it to drop one of the trinket for LFR UVLS for demo spec? The reason I am asking this is because I can't kill normal lei shen because the guild I am in kill him on Monday when im not on. Sorry again if it's was talked about. I just didn't found any information.

I'm using WA to put a big alarm in my sight and I always see it but with the 4s window and my 2.8 CB cast time, I don't have a whole lot of time to get the CB off in time. I use a stopcast macro for the CB, but at times I get excited and hit the key twice and poof chance gone.

Would putting more emphasize in Haste over Mastery be of benefit? better reliability>bigger number?

Your perfect aim proc would be better utilized by an Immolate + Conflag.

So I mentioned this before, but I did attempt to test it out using simc and changing around the apl. Turned out to be around a 4k DPS loss to do this for the t15H destro profile. It very well could be that I didn't make the correct adjustments, but it is intuitive to think that not getting a CB off during this proc is going to be a substantial loss. I wouldn't take my sims too seriously though and it'd be cool if gahhda could weigh in with his experience here.

Do your best to squeeze a CB in Thaedor! Practice as best you can. I find reacting to a sound is quicker for me personally then reacting to an icon popping up on my screen. I use both, but by now I'm only really paying attention to the sound. I believe it is generally okay to use 3x stacks of backdraft to cast a CB as well for a PA proc, so don't shy away if you've got 3+ stacks when PA pops up.

Extra haste isn't going to help your reaction time, or prevent you from double tapping your stopcast macro

so while farming for some secrets today (yea i know ive fallen behind lol) I had the LFR wushoo drop. I figured its not worth using but thought id ask here before i DE it. Im currently using a 2/2 Volatile Talisman and a 2/2 Normal Light of the Cosmos. Would the LFR Wushoo be worth using? even fully upgraded?

hmm, ill give it a shot then. Id imagine you mean a fully upgraded version of it? I just was not sure how it would be since i didnt have the time at the time to reforge and gem stuff to get the stats in order. Ill work on it on my lunch break tho.

Well it looks like you're getting some normal council kills in, so I don't know that I'd drop valor points to upgrade the LFR version of Wush. You still have enough haste to warrant using it over your Light IMO.
