Chinese streamer YiLingShu has revealed a new Rogue card from Saviors of Uldum on the streaming platform Douyu: Bazaar Mugger.

Bazaar Mugger

It's a fine addition to Rogue's kit of Burgle-themed cards. The "from another class" text is in keeping with the new design philosophy for the mechanic which enables cards like Vendetta to be active in Rogue mirror matches. Older cards such as Blink Fox and Burgle itself tend to say "from your opponent's class". Pilfer, a Classic set card, was changed in Patch 9.14 to reflect the commitment to the new direction.

Check out our Saviors of Uldum hub for more info on the new expansion and all the cards revealed so far.

Looks like another fine "Hello Youtube!" candidate. 3/5 rush for 5 is rather weak, so it'll all depend on whether the battlecry delivers or not. Never been a big fan of such high variance cards. Frustrating to play against and with.

Yeah if that was a 5/3 (basically able to trade with the average 5 drop) then it'd be a keeper, but a 3/5 is pretty weak.   You don't use rush cards for staying power.

You can play Cursed Castaway they already made it long ago, this is instead meant to survive easily since Burgle rogue is essential a Control Rogue and needs to have something left behind on the board.

(also there is Assassinate at cost 5 if you don't want the body since you said yourself you suicide it)

Anyway rush minions are supposed to survive hits more often than not otherwise you are just playing a spell that can't hit past taunts so you shoulda play a spell if you want the body to die. Ideally you play a 5/3 to hit a 2/5 or 1/5 or a big value target like a 9/5.

A 3/5 shoulda aim at 3/3 2/3 1/3 targets or same as above at 9/3.

A 5/3 this would obviously trump an assassinate because of giving card advantage, and Cursed Castaway is a 6 cost, and under stats for the extra mana cost (the redeeming portion is you could potentially make a combo with it and specific deck construction).    Also It's not like a 5/3 would never survive either, just more rarely.
