French YouTuber TheFishou has revealed a new card from the next expansion, a 4-Mana 3/10 Taunt that won't stick around for long.


A new Neutral Taunt has been revealed by French YouTuber TheFishou: Conjured Mirage!

It's a 4-Mana 3/10 Taunt, which is absurd, but naturally those stats come with a drawback: Conjured Mirage will shuffle itself back into your deck at the beginning of your turn. This means you can't use it to build up your board presence, but as a short-term means of blocking damage it could be very effective. It gets you a little further from Fatigue when it shuffles itself into your deck too, which could be a useful effect for control decks.

One unlikely home for it could be Silence Priest, which loves high-health threats it can buff with Divine Spirit and Inner Fire and doesn't mind if they have a drawback. It's a little awkward in that deck, however, as it needs to be silenced the turn it's played if you want it to stick around. This means you can't, for example, coin it out into a turn 4 Unsleeping Soul - but you could play it on curve with Silence. It's worth a try!

Only way I see this seeing consistent play is if some fatigue deck becomes popular enough to throw this in as a counter.   Otherwise priest has easier and better options.

It's only good if you have no cards left since you keep draw this every turn instead of the dmg, but it's essential a 'Can't Attack' Type of minion since it will never attack once it's made to just waste enemy turns like Frost Nova.

It's a also sort of immune to silence since it will become a 3/10 can attack if the enemy decides to bypass it and not wait a turn or use hard removals, but you gonna probably take a ton of face dmg if they silence it so they still get a good deal even if you get a 3/10 the next turn

I wonder if this could work for somekind of rogue farigue deck. 

Where you play myras unstable element and then shuffle a ton of these into your deck with togwaggles scheme and augmented elek nd then just. Keep spamming 2 of these every turn.

      Welcome to a new year in the tavern, everyone! We have a balance update in the works that will go live later this week which includes the following changes, primarily for Standard and Battlegrounds:
      Fiendish Rites : Mana cost increased from (3) to (4). Warrior
      Scion of Ruin : Mana cost increased from (3) to (4) . Ancharrr : Durability reduced from (3) to (2) . Shaman
      Dragon's Pack : Now reads, “…If you’ve Invoked twice, give them +2/+2 .” (reduced from +3/+3). Invocation of Frost : Mana cost increased from (1) to (2). Rogue
      Necrium Apothecary : Mana cost increased from (4) to (5). Neutral
      Dragonqueen Alexstrasza: Battlecry effect can no longer generate Dragonqueen Alexstrasza. *Once the update is live, adjusted cards will be eligible for a full Arcane Dust refund for two weeks.
      This update includes several adjustments and gets more Heroes brawling in Bob’s Tavern than ever before! Further Battlegrounds balance changes are coming very soon, in addition to the exciting new content we have in the pipeline… we’ll have more to share in the near future!
      Burbling: Cost reduced from (2) to (1) . Queen Wagtoggle

      Battlegrounds : Selfless Hero’s Deathrattle will now only affect minions that do not already have Divine Shield. Arena : The appearance rate of cards in the draft has been updated to ensure class balance remains close to the ideal 50% win-rate. Specifically, the win-rate of Druid, Hunter, and Paladin should now be decreased. The win-rate of Priest, Rogue, Shaman and Warlock should now be increased. Card appearance rates for Mage and Warrior remain untouched.
