Leveling from 10 to 50 Took 12 Hours and 16 Minutes on Shadowlands Alpha

Redditor DesMephisto tried to level a new character from scratch on Shadowlands Alpha and it took him 12 hours and 16 minutes to reach level 50 without heirlooms.

Note that leveling (XP gains) may have been sped up for the purpose of testing on Shadowlands Alpha realms.

With the new max level being 60 in Shadowlands, we now have a very rough idea on how long it's going to take to level up a character from scratch up to level 50 before heading to Shadowlands if you do not have any heirlooms.

Redditor DesMephisto, who goes by the in-game name Alphajuggs, leveled up a Dark Iron Dwarf Warrior from scratch. If you are a new player and your character needs to go through Exile's Reach, note that the new starting zone (1-10) will take approximately 1 hour to finish.

All new players must complete Exile's Reach to reach level 10. Veteran players can opt out of the experience and complete the starting zones for their race. Allied Races start at level 10 whereas Demon Hunter and Death Knights at level 8. In the 10-50 range, you can pick whatever expansion you like if you are a Veteran and have played through Battle for Azeroth before heading into the Shadowlands at level 50.

Alphajuggs also provided timestamps for the individual level ranges as seen below.

  • Level 10-20: 2 hours 33 minutes
  • Level 20-30: 4 hours 57 minutes
  • Level 30-40: 8 hours 5 minutes
  • Level 40-50: 12 hours 16 minutes

Gilnean and Darnassian refugees are now gone from Stormwind.
As you probably remember, Sylvanas burned down Teldrassil causing a massive influx of refugees in Stormwind 5 years ago.
Reddit user yuvalal spotted there are no longer refugees present in Stormwind on the 10.2 PTR, which makes perfect sense now that Night Elves have Amirdrassil. The Forsaken have also withdrawn from Gilneas.

I've looked on the 10.1.7 PTR and saw no signs of refugees either, so maybe they have been removed even before Patch 10.2.

There are no longer any refugees or giant trees (Ancient Ones) at Stormwind Docks either on the 10.1.7 PTR.

We're looking at the Mythic+ Tier List for the fourth week of Patch 10.1.7. Check out how your spec's doing!
      DISCLAIMER
The following post is based on data from our sister site U.GG, which combines thousands of parses from live servers. Therefore, the data presented here may differ from Petko's Mythic Tier Lists maintained on our site.
      How the Data is Calculated
U.gg's tier list is created by evaluating damage and healing scores from the very best players and factoring in the frequency of each spec's appearances in the highest rankings of the current Mythic+ season. The tier list of each spec is determined by its effectiveness and prevalence at the highest levels of Mythic+ play.

Blazing Drake, Experiment 12-B, Lifebinder's Handmaiden, Flametalon of Alysrazor, Smoldering Egg of Millagazor, and Infinite Timereaver all have a chance to drop from this week's Cataclysm Timewalking Cache!
UPDATE: The cache isn't limited to Experiment 12-B as previously reported in this post. Thanls to @Cheatcho for clarifying.
Multiple Cataclysm mounts have a chance to drop from this week's Timewalking Cache!
So far, we've seen Ashes of Al'ar drop from the Burning Crusade Timewalking Cache, Invincible from the Wrath Cache, and now, Experiment 12-B has dropped from the Firelands Cache during Cataclysm Timewalking!
In addition to Experiment 12-B, we've seen reports of Blazing Drake, Lifebinder's Handmaiden, Flametalon of Alysrazor, Smoldering Egg of Millagazor, and Infinite Timereaver found inside the cache.

The mount has an extremely low chance to drop from Ultraxion in Dragon Soul.

We may have gotten a big hint at what the next WoW expansion could be. Redditor Wiraneusz came across some achievements that include cross-promotion items for Warcraft Rumble, but also possibly the next expansion's Heroic edition mount!
The "Heroic Edition: Algarian Stormrider" achievement is the big one from the list below, as it matches up with previous Heroic edition achievement names and is found int he same "promotions" section as the others. Wowhead's dataminers also confirmed the existence of these achievements, or at leas their names, as they are still encrypted.

There are also the three "Storm Rider" medals, possibly related to new Dragonriding-type races in the new expansion.
So what does this mean, what exactly is an Alarian Stormrider? Well, one of the commenters on the reddit thread pointed out a potential connection with dwarves/the earthen. Jump9575 remembered a new piece of Titan Watcher text from the Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr dungeon added in Dragonflight. The text talks about the earthen and their transformation via the Curse of Flesh, and specifically mentions "Khaz Algar" as one of the locations a sub-species of earthen (which also showed signs of the Curse of Flesh) went to. You can check out the full text here.
Considering the above and the "Stormrider" part the header image takes on a whole new meaning now. So, will we be seeing some (possibly Wildhammer-related) earthen/dwarves in Khaz Algar in 11.0? Or does the Algarian Stormrider have nothing to do with the place mentioned in Uldaman? How about a gryphon mount for the Heroic edition?
      Here's the original reddit post:

We also very recently speculated about the Naga Terrarium back item and its relation to 11.0, so could both these things come together in a naga/dwarf expansion?
