Prune is a 4-Star Anemo Catalyst character in Genshin Impact. Our Prune guide covers everything you need to know about her best build, including skills, artifacts, team compositions, and more. To learn more about Prune, use the tabs above to switch between her build information and team compositions.

Prune's Strengths & Weaknesses

V Strengths
  • +Prune is one of the strongest universal ATK buffers in the game, providing a massive team-wide damage increase through her ATK-scaling buffs.
  • +As an Anemo support, she can utilize Viridescent Venerer, allowing her to provide powerful resistance shred while also enabling Swirl-based reactions.
  • +Prune is extremely easy to play, with a simple rotation that requires minimal field time while still providing consistent buffs and off-field utility.
  • +Prune synergizes exceptionally well with ATK-scaling DPS characters, making her a highly flexible support option across a wide range of team compositions.
  • +As a Hexerei unit, Prune gains access to additional buffs when paired with other Hexerei characters, further increasing her overall team value.
X Weaknesses
  • -While Prune provides strong buffs, her personal damage is very low, meaning her overall value depends heavily on the strength of her teammates.
  • -Prune requires high ATK investment to maximize her buffs, which can make her more demanding to build compared to other supports.
  • -Her reliance on Swirl means she is less effective in teams where consistent elemental application is not available.
  • -Prune’s full potential is best realized in Hexerei teams, making her slightly less optimal in non-Hexerei compositions.
  • -She provides little defensive utility outside of minor crowd control, requiring additional sustain options in more difficult content.
