Venti's Best Teams & Character Synergies

Welcome to our Venti team composition guide and character synergies overview for Genshin Impact. In this guide, we will explore the best teams to build for Venti, including recommended characters, character synergies, and Team Compositions to help Venti reach his full potential.

Best Pairings and Synergies With Venti

Since the introduction of Hexerei powers, Venti has way more team possibilities than he had before. You can either place him in teams who focus on Elemental Reactions and who can take advantage of his Crowd Control capabilities, or you can play him as your Main DPS in a Hexerei team.

When you use him as a, off-field DPS, you do need to pay attention with ground melee characters such as Wriothesley for example, since Venti tends to send enemies too high in the air for them, putting them out of reach.

When playing Venti as a Hexerei main DPS, you do need Durin. If you do not have Durin, you will have a hard time reaching Venti's max DPS potential. The best team possible combines both Durin and Nicole.

Durin
Durin

Durin is the best Hexerei teammate for Venti, especially when you want to play Venti as your Main on-field DPS. He has a lot of synergy with Venti, and also offers very good buffs. Paired with Nicole they form the current best team possible for DPS Venti.

Nicole
Nicole

Nicole has amazing synergy with Venti, increasing his DMG and at the same time granting some protection with her powerful shield. Since both are Hexerei, they work pretty well together, activating each other's bonuses. Paired together with Durin they allow you to get the most DMG possible out of your Venti.

Varka
Varka

Venti is a very good option as off-field DPS for Varka, since he will fill both the Anemo and the Hexerei slot that Varka needs. Venti also buffs all swirl DMG, which is a pretty good buff for Varka who deals mixed elemental DMG.

Fischl Albedo Bennett
Other Hexerei Options

These are all useful Hexerei options for DPS Venti in case you do not have Nicole.

Faruzan Bennett
Other Supports

As with all Anemo DPS characters, Faruzan is one of the best supports you can also use with DPS Venti. Bennett is your second best alternative after Durin if you do not have Nicole.

Xiao Wanderer
Anemo Hypercarry

Anemo-focused teams with Venti will only benefit from him if you play Venti as an Anemo DPS and not a Reaction DPS, as he will not have many reactions to do in those teams. Bennett and Faruzan are two characters you will want to use in those teams, as they provide important buffs to both the main DPS and Venti. The 4th slot is reserved to your Main Anemo DPS. The main options are Wanderer or Xiao. Wanderer benefits the most from Venti as this allows him to have a massive burst window to attack while Venti packs and controls enemies in his Vortex. Xiao works, but be aware that he tends to have a hard time hitting Venti's enemies inside the Vortex depending on where you put it.Sadly Chasca is not an option as she will not perform well in such a team, and Shikanoin Heizou does not reach high enough.

Kamisato Ayaka Kamisato Ayato Raiden Shogun
Reaction Off-Field DPS Venti

Venti works very well when placed in teams who focus on Elemental Reactions and who can take advantage of his Crowd Control capabilities. His powerful RES Shred, and grouping means he can play a big role for a lot of main DPS. Ayato, Ayaka, and Raiden, are not the only ones:
