Qiqi Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Qiqi build guide for Genshin Impact. Qiqi is a powerful 5-Star Cryo support character known for great healing and buffs for Stellar-Conduct damage. In our guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Qiqi, from building the best Artifacts and Weapons to important stat priorities and rotations.

Best Weapons for Qiqi

Listed below are Qiqi's best weapons. While weapons are listed in a priority order, what's best to build on your Qiqi can vary depending on the team composition and level of investment you want to put into Qiqi.

Key of Khaj-Nisut R1

Sunken Song of the Sands

Base ATK: 542

HP: 66.2%

HP increased by 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40%. When an Elemental Skill hits opponents, you gain the Grand Hymn effect for 20s. This effect increases the equipping character's Elemental Mastery by 0.12% / 0.15% / 0.18% / 0.21% / 0.24% of their Max HP. This effect can trigger once every 0.3s. Max 3 stacks. When this effect gains 3 stacks, or when the third stack's duration is refreshed, the Elemental Mastery of all nearby party members will be increased by 0.2% / 0.25% / 0.3% / 0.35% / 0.4% of the equipping character's max HP for 20s.

Although Qiqi herself does not scale off of HP, this weapon can still allow her to provide a large Elemental Mastery buff to the team, making it efficient at buffing Stellar-Conduct damage.
Freedom-Sworn R1

Revolutionary Chorale

Base ATK: 608

Elemental Mastery: 198

A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds. Increases DMG by 10% / 12.5% / 15% / 17.5% / 20%. When the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 2 Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" for 12s. "Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance" increases Normal, Charged and Plunging Attack DMG by 16% / 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% and increases ATK by 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s. Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack.

Another weapon Qiqi can use, providing a decent buff to ATK % and Normal/Charged Attack DMG %, although the DMG % won't apply to Stellar-Conduct damage. Note however that this weapon requires Qiqi to trigger reactions, so faster Electro application is needed than Cryo for it to work.
Sacrificial Sword R5

Composed

Base ATK: 454

Energy Recharge: 61.3%

After damaging an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 40% / 50% / 60% / 70% / 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 30s / 26s / 22s / 19s / 16s.

With this weapon, Qiqi can cast her Elemental Skill twice per rotation. She can cast it early in the rotation, then swap back and recast it later to keep the Skill active throughout the rotation. This can give her full uptime on Cryo application, particle production, healing, and her Stellar-Conduct DMG % buff, even in longer rotations. Thus, it is overall one of her best weapon options.
Favonius Sword R5

Windfall

Base ATK: 454

Energy Recharge: 61.3%

CRIT Hits have a 60% / 70% / 80% / 90% / 100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12s / 10.5s / 9s / 7.5s / 6s.

If Sacrificial Sword is not needed for Skill uptime, then this is the best 4-star weapon instead, thanks to the extra particles lowering team Energy requirements.

Best Artifacts for Qiqi

Tenacity of the Millelith

Tenacity of the Millelith

2-Piece Set: HP +20%

4-Piece Set: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20% and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Qiqi's best general-purpose set, as she deals consistent Elemental Skill damage to maintain full uptime on the buff.
Noblesse Oblige

Noblesse Oblige

2-Piece Set: Elemental Burst DMG +20%

4-Piece Set: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members' ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

If someone else on the team is using Tenacity of the Millelith , Noblesse Oblige can be used instead. However, it requires using her Elemental Burst every rotation, which she generally doesn't.
Instructor

Instructor

2-Piece Set: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80.

4-Piece Set: Upon triggering an Elemental Reaction, increases all party members' Elemental Mastery by 120 for 8s.

This is another set Qiqi can use if Tenacity of the Millelith is being used by someone else on the team. However, this is a 4-Star set, so Qiqi's stats will be much lower with it, giving her much less healing.
Song of Days Past

Song of Days Past

2-Piece Set: Healing Bonus +15%.

4-Piece Set: When the equipping character heals a party member, the Yearning effect will be created for 6s, which records the total amount of healing provided (including overflow healing). When the duration expires, the Yearning effect will be transformed into the "Waves of Days Past" effect: When your active party member hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, the DMG dealt will be increased by 8% of the total healing amount recorded by the Yearning effect. The "Waves of Days Past" effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect.

This is another buffing set option for Qiqi. Other options like Tenacity of the Millelith generally provide better buffing, but this set can be used if other options aren't available.
Ocean-Hued Clam

Ocean-Hued Clam

2-Piece Set: Healing Bonus +15%.

4-Piece Set: When the character equipping this artifact set heals a character in the party, a Sea-Dyed Foam will appear for 3 seconds, accumulating the amount of HP recovered from healing (including overflow healing). At the end of the duration, the Sea-Dyed Foam will explode, dealing DMG to nearby opponents based on 90% of the accumulated healing. (This DMG is calculated similarly to Reactions such as Electro-Charged, and Superconduct, but is not affected by Elemental Mastery, Character Levels, or Reaction DMG Bonuses). Only one Sea-Dyed Foam can be produced every 3.5 seconds. Each Sea-Dyed Foam can accumulate up to 30,000 HP (including overflow healing). There can be no more than one Sea-Dyed Foam active at any given time. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

This set can be used to give Qiqi some damage contribution, but it's generally better to use a buffing set instead.

Qiqi's Stat Priority

Sands of Eon: ATK % or Energy Recharge
Goblet of Eonothem: ATK %
Circlet of Logos: CRIT / Healing Bonus / ATK %
Substats: CRIT Rate > ATK % > Energy Recharge

ATK % should be used on Qiqi's Goblet and Sands, as her healing scales off this stat. Energy Recharge can be used on the Sands if you wish to use Qiqi's Burst every rotation, but this stat can be ignored otherwise. CRIT Rate Circlet is advised if using Favonius Sword for consistency, otherwise Healing Bonus is advised to maximize her healing. If Qiqi is C6, then ATK % can be used on the Circlet to maximize her C6 buff.

Recommended Stats for Qiqi

Build recommendations assume a "decently built" level of artifact rolls alongside Favonius Sword. Using other weapons may increase or decrease certain stats relative to these recommendations.

HP: 16,500-19,000
ATK: 1800-1950
Energy Recharge: 155-180%
CRIT Rate: 60-70%
CRIT DMG: 110-135%

These stats reflect what you would see on the stat screen, before buffs from Qiqi, the team, or any weapon or 4pc Artifact set bonuses are applied. The CRIT Rate can be much less if not using Favonius Sword. The Energy Recharge can vary heavily depending on if Qiqi is solo Cryo or not, and if she has her C1. But she can ignore this stat entirely as her Elemental Burst is not needed every rotation.

Qiqi's Talent Priority

Talent Priority: Adeptus Art: Herald of Frost > Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune >>> Ancient Sword Art

Qiqi generally doesn't use her Elemental Burst every rotation prior to C6, so her Elemental Skill should be leveled first. But if you are using the Burst every rotation, it should be leveled first. Her Normal Attack talent can be ignored entirely.

How to Play Qiqi

Qiqi has a simple playstyle, generally casting her Elemental Skill and performing a single Normal Attack to apply the talisman from her Ascension 4 passive, then swapping out to the next character in the rotation. From there, she will continuously provide Stellar-Conduct DMG % to the team and healing, alongside Cryo application and particles. If available, her Elemental Burst can be used for even more Healing, alongside some modest Stellar-Conduct damage of her own.

Qiqi's Best Constellations

Qiqi's Constellations are generally not worth going for because, aside from C6, they generally do not provide her with more buffing. C6 gives her a bit more buffing to Stellar-Conduct damage, while C1 gives her a ton of Energy, making it much easier to use her Elemental Burst every rotation, if desired. The other Constellations mainly focus on increasing Qiqi's healing, but she already provides plenty at C0.
