Character Overview
Boothill is a Physical character following the Path of The Hunt. He is a powerful single-target Break DPS focusing on shredding Toughness bars and dealing massive Break damage. His kit is very self-sufficient, letting him apply Physical Weakness himself and stay effective even against enemies that normally resist him through the use of his Ultimate, which provides a guaranteed Weakness implant.
Boothill builds his Pocket Trickshot stacks by breaking or defeating enemies in turn, massively boosting his Toughness damage and letting him repeatedly trigger extra Break damage on broken targets. As most of his damage scales from Break Effect instead of crit, he's slightly easier to build than standard DPS characters and mainly wants Break Effect and SPD stats.
Boothill also works extremely well with Break-focused supports like Fugue, Ruan Mei, and Bronya, who help him break enemies faster, take more turns, and increase his already huge Break damage. The Dahlia, on the other hand, is his best ally to be paired with in any team composition. She provides additional Super Break damage, Break damage, and increased Break Effect for even more damage output.
Kit Overview
Most of his damage comes from repeatedly triggering Break effects rather than relying on traditional crit scaling. His Skill starts a Standoff with one enemy, forcing both of them to focus each other for a short time. During this state, Boothill gains access to an Enhanced Basic Attack and deals more damage to that "taunted" target. Breaking or defeating this enemy grants him Pocket Trickshot stacks, which are the main source of his damage.
Pocket Trickshot stacks greatly increase the Toughness damage of his Enhanced Basic Attack. At maximum Trickshot stacks, Boothill can break Toughness bars extremely quickly, making it much easier to trigger Weakness Breaks consistently. When attacking a broken enemy with his Enhanced Basic, Boothill triggers an additional burst of Physical Break damage. This can also activate the moment the enemy becomes broken during the attack itself, leading to very high damage in a single turn.
His Ultimate deals Physical damage, delays the enemy's next action and implants Physical Weakness for multiple turns. Because of this, Boothill can still perform well even against enemies that are not normally weak to Physical. Overall, Boothill's gameplay focuses on building Pocket Trickshot stacks, breaking enemies quickly and chaining powerful Break damage attacks while using speed and Break Effect as his most important stats.

Boothill's Best Eidolons
- E6 – Triggering Boothill's Talent break damage will deal additional break damage equal to 40% of the original multiplier, as well as dealing break damage to the adjacent targets at 70%. This is one beefy eidolon.
- E1 – Obtain 1 stack of "Pocket Trickshot" when the battle begins. When Boothill deals damage, he ignores 16% of the enemy defence.
- E2 – Boothill recovers one SP and increases his break effect by 30% when he is in Standoff and gains "Pocket Trickshot" for 2 turns. This can also trigger if "Pocket Trickshot" exceeds the max limit.
- E4 – When Boothill attacks an enemy in Standoff, the damage produced increases by 12%. When Boothill himself is attacked by an enemy in Standoff, the increased damage effect is offset by 12%.
