Introductions

Welcome to our team composition guide for Sparxie in Honkai: Star Rail. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Sparxie, including recommended team compositions, character synergies and everything you need to know to let your Sparxie teams shine.

Best Synergies for Sparxie

Yao Guang
Yao Guang

As of 4.0, Yao Guang is the only available Elation unit and provides unparalleled synergy with Sparxie. Her Ultimate, Hexagram of Feathered Fortune, grants All-Type RES PEN for all allies, a Skill Point, increased Certified Banger uptime, and most importantly, an instance of each Elation character's Elation Skill. Combined with her sharing a portion of her current Elation% with all allies, frequent Punchline generation, Vulnerability application, and strong personal damage, Yao Guang is Sparxie's definitive best ally across all content.

Additionally, Yao Guang contributes to several of Sparxie's requirements, counting toward her A4 Trace, Dazzling! Persona Kaleidoscope, and her Signature Lightcone, Dazzled by a Flowery World.

Sparkle
Sparkle

The recently buffed Sparkle is currently Sparxie's strongest Action Advance support, providing consistent Skill Points, CRIT DMG, All-Type RES PEN, Vulnerability application, and Skill Point cap increases—all while having access to strong Lightcones such as Dance! Dance! Dance! and Earthly Escapade.

While she remains Sparxie's best secondary support for now, Sparkle's relative value for Sparxie may decline over time, as Sparxie wants Elation units, and her utility alone may not fully meet the Sparxie's scaling needs.

Remembrance Trailblazer
Remembrance Trailblazer

Rememberance Trailblazer is a strong Action Advance support, providing CRIT DMG and 42% True DMG. However, care is needed when pairing the two: Mem's rarer Action Advance may trigger at suboptimal times, and players should avoid consecutive uses that cause Sparxie to take two turns in succession, which would expire her "Certified Banger" status. Additionally, Lightcones such as Memory's Curtain Never Falls, Victory In a Blink, and Fly Into a Pink Tomorrow are largely wasted with Sparxie, as most of her damage—Elation DMG— does not benefit from DMG Boost%.

Sunday
Sunday

Sunday is a 5★ Harmony Action Advance support, providing CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and Energy. However, because Sparxie's damage profile is primarily Elation DMG, she is extremely inefficient with DMG Boost%, meaning much of Sunday's supportive potential is unused. While Sunday's Signature Lightcone, A Grounded Ascent, is essential for maintaining a stable Skill Point economy, its buffing effects are largely wasted on Sparxie.

When pairing Sunday with Sparxie, Sunday should be tuned to act faster than Sparxie, rather than following the traditional "-1" playstyle. This ensures the duration of Sparxie's "Certified Banger" status does not expire quickly.

Cipher
Cipher

Cipher is a 5★ Nihility unit that excels at Skill Point generation through her inherently high Speed and frequent turns. Due to her reliable debuff application and low reliance on her Ultimate, Yours Truly, Kitty Phantom Thief!—which converts stored damage into True DMG against up to three enemies—Cipher rarely needs to use her Skill. As a result, she consistently generates Skill Points through repeated Basic ATKs.

Tribbie
Tribbie

Tribbie is a 5★ Harmony unit providing Vulnerability and All-Type RES PEN, often acting infrequently to maintain her Skill's Zone, making her less effective at generating Skill Points than some other supportive options. A commonly owned Eidolon of Tribbie's is her first Eidolon, Rite of Sugar Scoop, which significantly increases the damage dealt by all allies by enabling them to deal True DMG.

Silver Wolf
Silver Wolf

Silver Wolf is a 5★ Nihility unit that provides strong damage-amplifying debuffs, notably reducing enemy DEF and RES by a significant amount. It should be noted that her RES reduction is tied to her Skill, and players should track its uptime; prioritizing Skill usage only when the debuff is no longer active.

Huohuo
Huohuo

Huohuo is a 5★ Abundance sustain unit who excels in Energy generation. Her Ultimate restores up to 20% of all allies' Max Energy while also providing a strong ATK% buff with limited uptime. While Huohuo typically consumes more Skill Points than other sustain units, when paired with Sparkle, will be mitigated as Huohuo's Energy regeneration results in higher overall Skill Point generation.

Huohuo also alleviates Sparxie’s ATK requirements through her Ultimate. Although the 40% ATK buff does not have full uptime, it contributes towards Sparxie’s A2 Trace, Sweet! Punchline Signing, frequently enabling the buff to reach its 80% cap.

Huohuo additionally has strong synergy with Yao Guang, whose Ultimate has an exceptionally high Energy cost of 180. This synergy can be further amplified by Huohuo’s Eidolon 1, Anchored to Vessel, Specters Nestled, which increases the SPD% of all Elation allies. This indirectly increases Aha’s SPD and eases Speed requirements for both Sparxie and Yao Guang, easing build requirements for SPD for both Sparxie and Yaoguang.

Players should aim to equip Post-Op Conversation to increase the frequency of Huohuo’s Ultimate.

Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae
Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae is a 5★ Preservation sustain unit who provides a large ATK buff and assigns a summon to a chosen ally. However, at Eidolon 0, his contribution to Sparxie teams is minimal, as she cannot effectively utilize the majority of his buffs.

While Dan Heng provides a substantial permanent ATK buff, it does not tally towards Sparxie’s ATK requirements for her A2 Trace, as the buff is flat rather than percentage-based. As a result, Sparxie only benefits through her minor ATK scalings, such as her Ultimate and Basic ATKs. Additionally, due to her relatively low ATK, Dan Heng’s Souldragon also deals limited damage when placed on her.

Despite this, Dan Heng is not entirely obsolete. He enables Sparxie to equip The Wondrous BananAmusement Park, an Planar set directly equivalent to Tengoku@Livestream.

At Eidolon 1, Dan Heng’s value increases significantly. He gains the ability to generate Skill Points via his Ultimate and provides Sparxie with All-Type RES PEN for 3 turns, offering with much higher buffs and utility for Sparxie to take advantage of.

Gallagher
Gallagher

Gallagher is a 4★ Abundance sustain unit who excels in Skill Point generation. He can equip Multiplication to further accelerate his turns (and in turn, generate more Skill Points), or Quid Pro Quo to generate minor Energy for an ally each time he acts, which can occur frequently due to his turn speed.
