Mint Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Mint build guide for Neverness to Everness. Mint is an A-Rank Liquid Character available in Neverness to Everness who utilizes the Anima element.

In our Mint guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Mint, from building the best gear and weapons, to important skill priorities and combos.

Mint's Best Arcs

Fluff of Fleetness M1
ATK - 512
CRIT DMG - 44%

Motor Candy

Increases 5% ATK every 1s while the wearer is the active character, up to 5 stacks. Resets when the wearer leaves the field.
Fluff of Fleetness is an excellent S-rank option for Mint. Fluff of Fleetness provides a high base attack as well as a CRIT DMG bonus, helping her overall damage potential. The Arc Effect can provide a large Attack DMG bonus but the on-field requirement makes it difficult to maintain the maximum bonus consistently.
Clear Skies M5
ATK - 475
ATK - 25%

Paper Squadron

Increases Anima DMG dealt by the wearer's Redirect Skill and Ultimate by 20%.
Clear Skies is Mint's best A-rank alternative currently. This Arc gives a strong Attack % boost as its substat, and decent base attack. In addition, the Arc provides a strong Anima DMG bonus in its Arc Effect that Mint can take full advantage of. However, unlike Fluff of Fleetness, there is no CRIT DMG bonus built into this Arc, which can decrease her overall damage potential if she is ran with a CRIT build.
Mind Royale M5
ATK - 555
Break Intensity - 60

Inspiration Terminator

Grants the wearer 10 Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20s.
Mind Royale is another solid A-rank option. Mind Royale provides a base Attack bonus on par with most S-rank Arcs. However, the Break Intensity increase is not very useful for Mint, as her kit is not made for breaks. The Arc Effect providing Ultimate Energy does help Mint use her Ultimate more often, increasing her overall damage.

The Last Rose and Youthful Fantasy are two Arcs worth mentioning for their large base Attack bonuses and Attack % increases. However, unlike other options, the Arc Effects are largely unusable for her, as her Kit cannot trigger most of the effects.

Best Console Setups for Mint

Mint's Console bonus is a 7.5% CRIT Rate bonus for every Type III Module

2-piece: Epic (2): Anima DMG +10%.
4-piece: Legendary (4): Increases wearer's CRIT DMG by 8% when a nearby enemy takes Anima DMG from the Team, up to 7 stacks. Each stack lasts 10s. Effect remains active when the character is off-field.
This is Mint's strongest Cartridge providing her with bonus Anima and CRIT DMG when run with the full set effect. It is recommended to run the full set, as the CRIT DMG bonus synergizes well with her CRIT Rate increase of her Console bonus. When running her with the 4-piece required for the full set effect you can fit an additional 2 Type III and 1 Type II Module giving her a total of +30% CRIT Rate from her console effect. Below is an example setup with the full set effect active for Mint.

Mint's Stat Priority

Cartridge Mainstat Priority: CRIT > Anima DMG > ATK
Substat Priority: CRIT > ATK% > Universal DMG bonus > ATK

Mint is an Attack-scaling Esper who benefits from having CRIT and attack bonuses.

Mint's Skill Priority

Skill > Basic Attack > Ultimate > Support Skill

Mint's main source of damage is her Skill and should be prioritized followed by her Basic Attack and Ultimate with her Support Skill being her last priority for her damage.

Mint's Awakening Priority

If you have one or multiple copies of a character, you will be able to select Awakenings of your choosing. The following is a recommended order to unlock her Awakenings. Remember that you can switch them at any time to try out different ones, or tailor your choices for a specific fight or situation.

Awakening Unlock Order Explanation
Task Force Operation
(A1)
Her First recommend Awakening is her A1. This Awakening resets her Skill cooldown. In some fights this can lead to her Skill almost always being available to use.
First Instinct
(A5)
This Awakening is a great second pick for Mint as it increases her CRIT DMG, increasing her damage potential.
Attendance Bonus
(A3)
Her third recommended Awakening is her A3. Attendance bonus is a good boost to her ATK, as long as you are running her with an Cosmos or Incantation Esper to trigger the necessary reactions.
Re-examination
(A2)
The Next recommended Awakening for Mint is her A2 as it is a flat damage buff to her Skill.
Lunch Break
(A4)
The Fifth Awakening recommended to unlock is her A4. It increases her CRIT Rate, but is only active when there is one enemy on the field, making it more restrictive than some of her other Awakenings.
Elite Member
(A6)
This is her last recommended Awakening. While it does provide Mint with a good damage boost, the requirement of the enemy being at 40% HP or below means it is inactive for a large period of time during fights.

How to Play Mint

Mint is a largely on-field DPS with a particular focus on using her Skill to dash through enemies, and using her Critical Riposte when dodging enemy attacks.

Once the game has launched, and we had an opportunity to play around with all the characters, we will be updating this section with more specific rotational advice and how to set up specific combos for Esper Cycles or burst windows!
