Where to Find Nightmare-Bound Anomaly Commission in Neverness to Everness

Nightmare-Bound is an Anomaly that can only be discovered within nightmares or dreamscapes, as investigators will have to explore an abandoned hospital. You can find this Anomaly by talking to an unnamed patient inside the Hethereau Municipal Hospital. The NPC can be found in the first floor stairwell, facing the wall. Talk to him and choose the option (Close eyes). You will be teleported to the abandoned hospital, and need to find clues around the hospital so you can complete the commission.

This Anomaly Commission has multiple endings, and you may want to re-enter it at a later point to find out more about what is actually going on within the Nightmare.

How to Get Ending 1 for Nightmare-Bound Anomaly Commission

You need to find three clues around the abandoned hospital, and submit them to projectors on the first floor to complete the commission. Investigate the monitors to find clues nearby. The first one is located on your right after spawning in. The monitor is located behind the reception area.

From the reception area, you can see an exit door to the right. Enter there and keep following the path, even after you see the Nightmare-Bound Anomaly walking around.

Continue heading to the second exit door. After you go through this one, there will be another door with green light beside it. Enter the room to see many generators lined up.

Inside the generator room, activate four of the inactive ones so the electricity will come back on. You can see which one is not activated by the lights on the generator. However, be careful as the moment the lights return, the Nightmare-Bound Anomaly will come into the room and try to capture you.

Try to hide behind the many generators and run outside the room as fast as you can. Once you leave the room, you should be fine.

Outside of the room will be another reception area. Go there and get the Keychain: 1F on top of the table.

From the reception area, look to the left side and go through the exit there. The Nightmare-Bound Anomaly will not be here for now, so rest assured.

Walk forward until you see a door on the right side with white light coming from above. This door will lead you to the second clue.

From inside the room, go through the door to the left and move forward until you reach a room with black ink splashed on the wall. Enter the door to the left and you will find the final clue on a monitor to complete this commission.

Continue following the ink on the floor leading east, and you will find a patient room with lockers and trash bags in front of a door. Interact with the open locker to get another key, and destroy the trash to go through the door.

Look to your right to find a closed exit door. You already have the key, so go through the door to find the emergency stairs. Head up the stairs to arrive one floor above. Go inside the room behind the reception area to find three projectors.

Enter the clues in the right order to fully complete the Anomaly Commission and get Ending 1 out of 4.

How to Get Ending 2 for Nightmare-Bound Anomaly Commission

To get the second ending, you need to get the following clues: Surveillance Record Clue I, Surveillance Record Clue II, and Surveillance Record Clue III. Get the first one by finding the room that the Nightmare-Bound Anomaly first entered, and interact with the book on top of the tray.

Afterwards, leave the room from the door you came in, and use the elevator opposite of the door to go to the second floor.

One the second floor, head to the easternmost area, where you can find a door with a red light at the foot of the door. Enter this room and get the second clue on top of the table, named Surveillance Record Clue II. Afterwards, get the Keychain: 2F on the corkboard beside the table.

Leave the room and go to the other one right beside it to find the last clue: Surveillance Record Clue III. Then, turn around and interact with the water valve to drain all the waters on this floor. Now that you get all three clues, go back to the reception area on this floor, and enter the clues in each of the projector.

How to Get Ending 3 for Nightmare-Bound Anomaly Commission

In your third run, use the elevator to reach the third floor. Right outside of the elevator on the 3rd floor, there will be a Sealed Canister. Interact with it twice to obtain Key - North District. The key can be immediately used to unlock the door right beside the canister.

Keep going to the door on the right side twice, and you can get the Anomaly Experiment Clue II alongside with "Jigsaw" - Type I that was inside the Sealed Canister.

Return to the room with a marble desk in the middle (the first room you enter after using the Key - North District), and place the "Jigsaw" - Type I to unlock a hidden area. Enemies will start spawning in this room, so defeat them first to ensure they won't be disturbing you afterwards.

After the enemies are defeated, leave by the door leading to the east, where you may run into the Nightmare-Bound Anomaly. You can outrun it by going to the right side of the corridor. Your next destination is also accessible from this path.

Keep going on the path until you passed a blue vending machine - the door you need to go is just beyond the vending machine. Enter the room to get the Anomaly Experiment Clue III.

Leave the room and head back to the room with the marble desk, and use the door in front of it to reach a corridor with a clock on the wall. Interact with the clock twice to get a Key - South District. Then, enter the door on the right side.

Keep going right until you enter a door with rows of lockers inside. Open the one furthest to the bottom-left to get Key - South District. Now, leave this locker room and enter the door on the opposite side.

Go towards the door on the right side, interact with the book on top of the table first to get Anomaly Experiment Clue IV. Then, investigate the monitor with the screen on. Now that you get all the clues, return to the elevator and go to the 2nd floor to input all 3 clues into the projector and get the 3rd ending.

5.

How to Get Ending 4 for Nightmare-Bound Anomaly Commission

To get the fourth and final ending, you'll have to solve a much longer puzzle. Start by going to the second floor using the elevator. Head to the easternmost area to find a door with a red light at the foot of the door. Once again, enter this room and get the Keychain: 2F on the cork board beside the table.

Leave the room and go to the direction of the reception area, but turn right before you reach the door as your destination is another room. Go inside the room with three chairs outside the room, and there will be a crack on the wall.

Head further inside and you can use one of the following methods:

  1. The first one is by using Main Character's Skill to leap upwards, then immediately change to another character and jump again.
  2. The second method is by using Nanally's skill to climb upwards.

Once you're at the floor above, investigate the Sealed Canister so you can get a "Jigsaw" - Type IV.

Next, use the elevator to reach the third floor. Same as the third ending, investigate the Sealed Canister outside the elevator to obtain Key - North District. The key can be immediately used to unlock the door right beside the canister.

Go to the marble desk in the middle, and place the "Jigsaw" - Type IV to unlock a hidden door that will also appear in this room. Enter the room and walk through the wall to discover another hidden area, and investigate the notes on top of the table to get V???'s Notes.

Leave the room and head east before going to the first door on your right. Get the "Jigsaw" - Type I and go back to the marble desk to assemble the Jigsaw and unlock more area. Enemies will immediately spawn afterward, so defeat them first.

After the enemies are defeated, leave by the door leading to the east and you may stumble to the Nightmare-Bound Anomaly. You can outrun it by going to the right side of the corridor.

Your next destination is also accessible from this path.

Keep going on the path until you passed a blue vending machine- the door you need to go is just beyond the vending machine. Enter the room to get the Anomaly Experiment Clue III.

Leave this room and enter the door on the opposite side to get a "Mysty" from the Sealed Canister.

Bring Mysty to an open door in the middle of this section, and interact with the two Sealed Canisters in order to get Boom Boom Mist and "Jigsaw" - Type II. Go back to the marble desk and place the latest Jigsaw puzzle to uncover the last area.

Get out of this room and head east until you reach a door right in front of the blue vending machine. The Nightmare-Bound Anomaly will be lurking in this area so beware of it.

Inside the room, there will be a switch. You need to press it in the correct order to unlock a hidden area. The right way to do it is by tapping it twice in a row, then tap the switch once 4 times, and finally another tap twice in a row (2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2).

Get the last clue on the monitor: Anomaly Experiment Clue VI. With all the clues on your hard, go to the second floor using the elevator and place all the clues on the projector to get the last ending!
