A Tale Through the Looking Glass Event Guide for Zenless Zone Zero

This event will take place from May 19, 2025 until June 5th, 2025.

In A Tale Through the Looking Glass Event you will be able to write your own Novel! Make it through various stages, and craft the story in your own way! You will be the writer, actor, and reader all at the same time.

During the event, you have to talk to novelist Zi Xu to help him pen down new stories and resolve issues along the way with the help of Bookspirits.

One chapter of Blooming Reflection will be unlocked each day, and selecting a different option will take the story in a whole new direction. You will also have access to one Combat Assistance each day. Invite Bookspirits to assist you. If you pick the Bookspirits that meet the requirements, you gain additional rewards.

In order to participate in A Tale Through the Looking Glass event you need to reach Inter-Knot Level 15 and complete Agent Story Mole in the Hole I. We also recommend you complete the Main Story Chapter 3 The Midnight Pursuit for the best experience.

To start the event, teleport to the Ballet Twins and talk to Zi Xu.

After the discussion if over, a menu will open. simply pick the next block to start the Blooming Reflection Quest:

You will have to choose how you want the story to unfold. The answer you pick does not matter, it is really up to personal preference here. After Blooming Reflection I, you will get access to Combat Assistance stages.

For each Combat Assistance, you can pick one Agent. Those will be considered "Bookspirits". Each stage has a recommended elements, make sure to pick an Agent of that Element, in order to get additional rewards!

Every Combat Assistance lasts 4 hours. After that you can pick up the rewards.

Each day, another Blooming Reflection and Combat Assistance will unlock. They all work the same. You pick how you want the story to unfold according to your own preference, and you assign recommended Agents to the combat phases.

During the event, you can earn the following rewards:
