Wind Attribute, Anomaly Effect and Characters in Zenless Zone Zero
This page contains information about the Wind Attribute in Zenless Zone Zero. Here, players will find out about mechanics such as Wind's Anomaly Effects and which playable Agents use Wind.
Introduction to the Wind Attribute
In Zenless Zone Zero, each Agent is aligned with a specific Element, also referred to as an Attribute. These Attributes all have unique capabilities and utilities. Here is a look at the Wind Attribute, the Agents using it, and its distinct features.
The Wind Attribute in Zenless Zone Zero embodies the essence of Wind with tornadoes, currents, and more. Although the game does not feature specific elemental reactions, possessing an agent with a unique element can be an advantage. Agents with the Wind attribute will deal additional Wind damage and inflict the Windswept state on enemies.
Attribute Anomaly
Attribute Anomaly is building up when enemies are attacked with specific Attributes. Once a threshold has been met, the Anomaly Buildup will trigger a debuff on the enemy. This debuff will correspond to the Attribute that was used to attack.
Wind Agents will build up Anomaly by attacking with Wind abilities. After a certain amount of Wind damage inflicted, the Wind Attribute Anomaly will trigger. This will put enemies under the Windswept state, interrupting their actions and increasing the DMG they take.
Any enemy under the Windswept state will see any direct Wind DMG they take increased based on certain Agent mechanics. On top of that, when an Agent deals Fire, Ice, Electric, Physical, or Ether DMG to an enemy for the first time, it will trigger the corresponding attribute's Contamination effect.
So basically, once you put an enemy under the WIndswept state, he takes more DMG, has his actions interrupted, and any other elemental DMG dealt to them will trigger a Contamination effect.
Under the Contamination effect, the direct DMG taken of the Contamination's corresponding attribute will be increased based on certain Agent mechanics.
Additionally, if you trigger a different type of Attribute Anomaly effect to an enemy who was already afflicted with Windswept, the Disorder effect will not be triggered, but instead you trigger Vortex.
After triggering Vortex, the Attribute Anomaly other than Windswept will be finalised, dealing AoE Anomaly DMG of the corresponding attribute.
Wind Enemy Weaknesses
Enemies become interrupted while under the Windswept state, allowing you to easily deal more damage to them.
