Assemble! Mock Exam Comeback Plan Event Guide for Zenless Zone Zero

This event will take place during version 3.0 of the game, from June 26, 2026 until July 27, 2026.

During the event, Proxies will have to help Mr. Goomy with a shooting mini-game.

In order to participate you will need to reach Inter-Knot level 20 and complete the Main Story Chapter 1 Intermission.

During this event, pick your Agent, and help Mr. Goomy at Aurelia Academy with his shooting mini-game. You can use on Agent per stage and each Agent has specific skills.

Skills can be acquired as you go through the stages, and you can also craft some and upgrade them to make the perfect combination.

First, head to Roscaelifer and talk to Mr. Goomy at the Academy.

After a rather long dialogue, you get access to the first stage. If you played the Bizarre Brigade Arcade game before, it does look a little bit like it. You will enter a stage as a little character, marbles will automatically attack enemies whenever they are close and conditions are met (this simply depends on the targeting ode you pick). The goal is to make it through multiple waves of enemies until you encounter and defeat the final stage Boss Ethereal.

If you health drop to zero, the battle is lost. Ethereals will enter your screen non-stop, and you have to kill them before they reach the end or before they are off-screen. If an enemy moves off-screen, it will self-destruct, but it will also deal a ton of damage to your Agent.

Defeating Ethereals will also drop loot that you can pick up to increase your level, power, or event trigger bonus events.

As you progress, enemies will also start shooting at you. You can move left and right or up and down in order to evade the enemy attacks. You can also use your defensive skill if needed in order to counter enemy attacks. Be careful against bosses, as attacks with a red warning glow cannot be countered, so you have to evade those.

You will also get access to an active skill. Using it can deliver a powerful effect. You want to keep it for when the situation becomes critical. You can only use it when you have enough energy available for it. The higher your Agent's level, the more the Active skill's DMG will increase as well.
