Bangbang! The Genius and the Miracle Chip is a new Bangboo Battle Event in Zenless Zone Zero. During the event, command your Bangboo in battle and help out Norma with her new chip project.
Bangbang! The Genius and the Miracle Chip Event
This event will take place during version 3.0 of the game, from June 18 until July 29. It is also important to note that this game mode will be permanently available after the Version 3.0 update. Some rewards are limited-time rewards, which are obtainable only during the event period, but you can still participate in the game mode even after the event ends.

What is the Bangbang! The Genius and the Miracle Chip Event About?
During the event, Proxies will have to command their Bangboo, plan strategies to overcome Bangboo battles, and help Norma test her new Miracle Chips.
How do you Participate in Bangbang! The Genius and the Miracle Chip?
In order to participate you will need to unlock the Central Computing Hub in the Main Story Season 3, Chapter 1 Mission "Celestial Nexus".
In this event, you will help restore the Central Computing Hub by loading special Bangboo training data models known as Collaboorators.
These Collaboorators enhance your Bangboo's abilities and allow them to take on a variety of challenges while assisting Norma with her research.
How it works:
- Load different Collaboorator data models into the Central Computing Hub
- Strengthen your Bangboo and unlock new abilities
- Complete challenge stages and restoration objectives
- Progress through the restoration of the Central Computing Hub while supporting Norma's research efforts
First, we recommend you complete the story event mission, as it will gradually lead you through the event and allow you to unlock all the stages. If you od not complete it, your progression will be locked.
During the event, you can load new collaboorators:
Then you can level and equip those Bangboo with modules that you obtained by completing the event story and different stages:
Once your Bangboo ready, you can take one the Stress test. Once per day you can complete one for free. Each Stress test have specific environment with indications of the best type of Bangboo you can use:
On top of that, you have the data domain training where you can obtain new modules and other rewards by completing them. Similar to the stress test, the data training will always indicate you the best types of bangboo for this stage, so just focus on using those.
What are the Bangbang! The Genius and the Miracle Chip Rewards?
During the event, you can earn the following rewards:
- "Bangboo-tiful Collaboorator" Proxy accessory
- "Because Tomorrow Still Comes" Namecard
- Polychromes
- Various character and account upgrade materials
- Title "Appointed Honorary Assistant"
The Central Computing Hub game mode will remain permanently available after the Version 3.0 update and these rewards are not time limited. You can still optain them afterwards since they are all part of the mode that remains.
