Pogranichnik Guide & Best Builds

Welcome to our Pogranichnik build guide for Arknights: Endfield. Pogranichnik is a 6-star Sword Vanguard Character available in Arknights: Endfield who utilizes the Physical element.

In our Pogranichnik guide, we'll cover everything you need to know to get the most out of your Pogranichnik, from building the best Gear and Weapons, to important stat priorities and combos.

Pogranichnik's Best Weapons

Never Rest
  • Willpower +156 (9/9)
  • Attack +39% (9/9)

Flow: Reincarnation (4/9):
Physical DMG Dealt +25.6%.
After the wielder's skill recovers SP, the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +8% while other operators in the team gain Physical DMG Dealt +4% for 30s.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 5. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.
Pogranichnik's signature weapon. This weapon will increase Pogranichnik's damage significantly, while also granting the team additional stacking damage buffs upon gaining SP, which all of his skills does.
Thermite Cutter
  • Willpower +156 (9/9)
  • Attack +39% (9/9)

Flow: Thermal Release (4/9):
ATK +16%.
After the wielder's skill recovers SP or grants a Link state, the entire team gains ATK +8% for 20s.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 2. Duration of each stack is counted separately.
This is Pogranichnik's only other applicable 6* weapon. It works like a weaker version of Never Rest. It provides a lower team Attack bonus in response to gaining SP per stack, and how lower maximum stacks.
Sundering Steel
  • Agility +124 (9/9)
  • Physical DMG +34.67% (9/9)

Combative: Anthem of Cinder (9/9):
Cd : +0.1
ATK +14%.
When the wielder deals a Physical Status, the wielder gains ATK +21% for 20s.
Max stacks for effects of the same name: 2. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.
Running on Pogranichnik's secondary scalar of Agility, Sundering Steel will provide Pogranichnik with plenty of minor damage bonuses to work with.
Prominent Edge
  • Agility +93 (9/9)
  • Physical DMG +26% (9/9)

Suppression: Emergency Boost (9/9):
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +33.6% for 20s.
Effects of the same name cannot stack.
A simple baseline weapon running on Pogranichnik's secondary scalar of Agility.

Pogranichnik's Best Essences

Essences are one of the repeatedly farmable ways to further boost the damage of your Pogranichnik. Which area and essence you will want to farm will depend on the weapon you are playing, as not all Essences are compatible with every weapon. Essences will increase the stats of your weapon, as well as enhance the passive effect it provides.

  • Never Rest: Will, Attack Boost, and Flow, farmable in The Hub, Power Plateau, and Wuling City.
  • Thermite Cutter: Will, Attack Boost, and Flow, farmable in The Hub, Power Plateau, and Wuling City.
  • Sundering Steel: Agility, Physical DMG Boost, and Combative, farmable in Originium Science Park, Origin Lodespring, Power Plateau, and Qingbo Stockade.
  • Prominent Edge: Agility, Physical DMG Boost, and Suppression, farmable in Originium Science Park, Power Plateau, and Qingbo Stockade

Essences can be further upgraded through a system called Etching which will be a long-term investment due to how much Sanity it takes to fully max out a weapon. You may therefore want to farm and Etch Essences for a signature weapon already if you plan on getting it in the near-future, even if you do not have the weapon yet. A simple +1/+1/+1 Essence for a temporary weapon like Sundering Steel will be good enough until you can get your hands on Pogranichnik's Never Rest.

Of special note, both of Pogranchnik's most applicable 6* Swords, Never Rest and Thermite Cutter, run on exactly the same trio of attributes. This makes collecting that particular Essence quite beneficial.

Best Gear for Pogranichnik

Type 50 Yinglung
3-piece set effect: Wearer's ATK +15%.
When any operator in the team casts a battle skill, the wearer gains 1 stack of Yinglung's Edge that gives DMG +20% to the wearer's next combo skill. Yinglung's Edge can stack 3 time(s).
The story with Pogranichnik's end-game gear set is simple. As Battle Skills on the team get used, Pogranichnik's next Battle Skill gets stronger.
  • Body: Bonekrusha Offpiece - Bonekrusha Poncho T1 — Will, Agility, Ultimate Gain Efficiency
  • Hand: Type 50 Yinglung Set - Type 50 Yinglung Gloves T1 — Will, Agility, Combo Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 1: Type 50 Yinglung Set - Type 50 Yinglung Knife — Will, Agility, Combo Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 2: Type 50 Yinglung Set - Type 50 Yinglung Knife — Will, Agility, Combo Skill DMG Bonus

Leveling Gear for Pogranichnik

While the above gear set is the optimal choice, it might take you some time before you will be able to craft it. Below are some of the more early and mid-game sets that we recommend until you've reached the pinnacle of craftsmanship.

Aburrey's Legacy
3-piece set effect: Wearer's Skill DMG +24%.
When the wearer casts a battle skill, combo skill, or ultimate, the wearer gains ATK +5% for 15s. The buff from each of the three skill types is unique and does not stack with itself.
This will be Pogranichnik's gear set for the remainder of Chapter 1. It'll serve him generally well for some damage boosts across the board.
  • Body: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Light Armor T1 — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
  • Hand: Mordvolt Resistant Offpiece - Mordvolt Resistant Gloves T1 — Will, Agility, Attack
  • Kit 1: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Sensor Chip — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 2: Aburrey's Legacy Set - Aburrey Sensor Chip — Will, Agility, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
AIC Light
3-piece set effect: Wearer's HP +500.
After the wearer defeats an enemy, the wearer gains ATK +20 for 5s.
This 2* set will work well enough for the start of the game.
  • Body: Miner Fists Offpiece — Will, Intellect, HP
  • Hand: AIC Light Set - AIC Tactical Gloves — Intellect, Agility, Combo Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 1: AIC Light Set — Will, Battle Skill DMG Bonus
  • Kit 2: AIC Light Set — Will, Battle Skill DMG Bonus

Pogranichnik's Skill Priority

Skill Priority: Full Moon Slash > The Pulverizing Front > Shieldguard Banner, Forward > All-Out Offensive

Pogranichnik is a very active SP Battery. His only Skill that doesn't recover SP any differently based on investment is his Basic Attack. Combo Skills, being SP-Free in Cost, are the prime investment for Vanguards. After that, it will be based on frequency of use. His Battle Skill will find use over his Ultimate more frequently. Finally, Pogranichnik is an exciting Operator to use as the Controlled Operator. If used as such, consider bumping up his Basic Attack to third priority.

How to Play Pogranichnik

Pogranichnik's playstyle will mostly play off of Vulnerable stacks, with his Combo Skill being his source of Net SP gain. He'll want another operator to build several stacks of Vulnerable for him, then use his Battle Skill to Breach the enemy, consuming the Vulnerable, which will have his Combo Skill trigger, doing more damage and gaining SP.

When his Ultimate is about ready to be used, he'll hold his Battle Skill and Combo Skill to use within the duration of his Ultimate to get more output and SP.
