Pilgrim's Traverse Guide for Floors 61-70

On floors 61-70, the Accursed Horde will take the form of a Sack of Gilded Light Icon Sack of Gilded Light, and Mimics can spawn from Gold Coffers. This means that Stun can no longer be used to prevent Pox.

2.

Floors 61-69

As the fourth floorset of the challenge floors, players should start being extremely careful in and around combat if they have not been doing so already. With invisible enemies, multiple quick-casting and late-telegraphed AoEs, and long-range lethal abilities used by many enemies when at low HP, this floorset can easily end a run.

From this floorset onwards, assume that all dodge-able attacks from both regular mobs and bosses are lethal. In some cases, a Pomander of Steel or Barkbalm Incense can prevent a death from full HP, but it will be safer to not rely on this, especially solo.

The encounter table will be located here once sufficient information has been accumulated by the community.

In the meantime, there are some enemies that should be specifically noted.

  • Traverse Cliffmole will use Head Butt, a small late-telegraphed cone-shaped AoE with a fast castbar.
  • Traverse Gnome will use Plain Pound, a late-telegraphed point-blank AoE with a fast castbar.
  • Forgiven Doubt will be Concealed upon spawning, making it invisible unless the player is close enough to the mob or the mob sees the player. Upon aggroing, it will become fully visible and use Slip of the Tongue to dash to the player and then use Body Press, a late-telegraphed point-blank AoE.
  • Traverse Talos will use Accelerate, a late telegraphed circle AoE that is targeted at the position of a random player at the start of the castbar. After jumping to this location, it will then use Subduction, a small donut-shaped AoE with no telegraph or castbar.
  • Forgiven Riot will use either Left-sided Shockwave or Right-sided Shockwave, a massive untelegraphed point-blank semicircle AoE that hits to either the left or right side of the mob. It will immediately follow this up by hitting the opposite side with the same attack.
  • Forgiven Grudge will use Hailfire, a late-telegraphed line AoE. Once below 30% HP it will use Crystalline Stingers, a massive enrage AoE. This can be LoS'd or Stunned.
  • Forgiven Imparity will use Isle Drop, a telegraphed circle AoE. Once below 50% HP it will frequently use Rockslide, a massive late-telegraphed plus-shaped AoE.
  • Forgiven Attachment will use Sewer Water, a large late-telegraphed point-blank semicircle AoE that hits either in front of or behind the mob. This will always target a player, so when playing in a group, ensure that everyone is close to each other on the same side of the enemy in order to minimise potential confusion.
  • Traverse Queen will use Unfinal Sting, a late-telegraphed line AoE. Once below 15% HP it will use Final Sting, a sacrifical enrage that will deal lethal damage to the targeted player. Can be Stunned to delay.
  • Forgiven Contention will use Several Thousand Needles, a large late-telegraphed line AoE. Once below 50% HP it will grant itself the Haste buff, increasing the speed of its attacks as well as speeding up the castbar of Several Thousand Needles and removing the telegraph from it.
  • Forgiven Voracity will use Stone Gaze, a late-telegraphed cone-shaped AoE. It will also use Body Slam, a late-telegraphed point-blank AoE. Both of these have fast castbars.

Floor 70 Boss - Forgiven Zeal

The seventh boss of Pilgrim's Traverse, and the fourth of the challenge floorsets. With an small circular arena and a lot of required movement, players will need to maintain concentration and move quickly.

Boss Rotation Quick-Guide:
  1. Zealous Glower (x5 orbs spawn and explode in order)
  2. Zealous Glower (x5 orbs spawn and explode in order)
  3. Ardorous Eye (x8 orbs spawn and explode in order)
  4. 2000 Mina Swing OR Disorienting Groan
  5. Octuple Swipe
  6. Repeat from start

The arena is a small circle, and a large Bleed Hazard will spawn around the outside of the arena when the boss is pulled. Shortly after being pulled, the boss will jump to the wall and cast Zealous Glower. This is a line AoE that can start either close to or far from the boss, and will always move towards the other direction. Both of these variants can be dodged by standing to the side of the boss.

As the AoE goes out, five orbs will spawn within it in order, starting from the beginning of the AoE and ending where it stops. Shortly after the AoE ends, the first orb will explode with a donut-shaped AoE around itself. Players will need to stand inside these donuts as they continuously go off, but while they are doing this, the boss will jump to a perpendicular angle on the wall of the arena and cast Zealous Glower again. As this AoE will go off while the players are inside the fourth donut AoE, players should ensure they are towards the outside of the arena within the safe zone in order to avoid the line AoE.

Once players resolve the fifth and final donut AoE from the first Zealous Glower, they will need to move to the first orb that spawned during the second Zealous Glower and resolve those five orbs in order as well. While players do this, the boss will jump to the middle of the arena and begin to cast Ardorous Eye. This is a large donut AoE that can start to either the left or right of the boss and move either clockwise or counterclockwise in a complete circle. Both of these variants can be dodged by moving into the centre of the boss' hitbox after resolving the fifth and final donut AoE from the second Zealous Glower.

As the AoE goes out, eight orbs will spawn within it in order, starting from the beginning of the AoE and ending where it stops. Similar to Zealous Glower, this mechanic can be resolved by moving to the first orb and resolving all donut AoEs in order. While players are doing this, the boss will cast either 2000 Mina Swing or Disorienting Groan. If the boss uses Swing, players will need to stand as far away from the boss as they can while avoiding the bleed wall in order to avoid being killed, while if the boss uses Groan, players will need to move into the centre of the boss' hitbox in order to avoid getting knocked back into the bleed wall.

Next, the boss will face a specific direction and begin to cast Octuple Swipe, displaying eight cone-shaped AoE telegraphs in a row. The first will always be in front of it, and each quarter of the arena will be hit twice by the mechanic, with the first half of the mechanic doing four AoEs in a random order and the second half of the mechanic doing the same four AoEs in a different random order. As there is a short pause between each hit of the mechanic, players can easily resolve it by simply moving into the previously attacked area until they move into the fifth one, at which point they can safely remain there. There is a chance that the fourth and fifth attacks hit the same quadrant, in which case players should remain in the third one until the fifth attack is done, then move into the safe zone.

After this point, the boss will begin to loop mechanics, starting back at the beginning of the encounter.
