JvChequer 43 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 Finally got my KTT HC WF, should I start using Grim of Sac for Destro? Even without the trinket probably with PBI and higher ilvl the Gosac worth it but I don't have any math to prove it. But I'm totally sure that with KTT Gosac it's way to go even in ST fights. Muoric 3 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 Unfortunately, it has no relevance this tier because you can't stack Protectors up, only useful part of Galakras fight is the easy phase (same with Garrosh), and Spoils is too inconsistent with spawns to have relevancy. I'm pretty sure the proc range is rubbish, too. I'm glad we haven't seen that thing drop. It was actually pretty damn good on Galakras (25hc) yesterday when farming. Did about 10% damage for a fellow lock and an ele shammy who both have it. Wouldn't use it for other fights though. Not that I'd go for it for 1 fight out of 14, but for that it can be usefull. p.s. wtb any (other) soo trinket. Makes me sad that my alt mage has flex bindings and bboy when I'm stuck with flex ktt and basic hc wush :(

I mean, the trinket is absolute garbage in P2. LIke.... the proc is useless there. I had to ask our Ele shaman to unequip it on Garrosh last night because it only really does anything in P1. Again, absolutely useless in the last phase unless you get *really* lucky with clumped up MC's? That trinket is just lame this tier.
Zagam 1,983 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 absolutely useless in the last phase unless you get *really* lucky with clumped up MC's? Relevant for 25 only. We have 2 MCs in 10 man.
Ilion 8 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) Relevant for 25 only. We have 2 MCs in 10 man. And even for 25, I couldn't see it being any useful. That trinket is pure useless shit, even for Galakras, the most important thing for Galakras is killing shamans fast, not AoEing the entire groups, that's the easy part. Rakupenda 15 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 If you stack your raid, there is no luck involved in getting MC's close together on Garrosh. Siegecrafter heroic and on mine duty (although Affliction tunneling boss and cleaving adds might be interesting) or Spoils (on Mogu or if your tank chain pulls on Klaxxi) are the only fights I see that -MIGHT- be viable for that trinket. RP trinket. Save your DKP and your free-roll coin.

Zagam 1,983 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 The fact people are trying to justify the use of the trinket says it all. It's a novelty trinket that really isn't worth the time we're spending talking about it. The devs blew it hard on all the cleave trinkets. They should have been modeled exactly like the Dragon Soul trinkets. Instead, they tried to make bacon and they burnt it. Do you know the sin of burning bacon?
Omaric 246 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 I don't know man. Apparently bacon reduces sperm count now. Add that to the list of things that make it so we can't have babies.
Zagam 1,983 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 THATS WHY DANIELLE MADE ME BACON THIS MORNING! I woke up to the smell of bacon on a Friday morning that was cooked PERFECTLY. Maybe she took note when I said the thought of having a snot, spit, and shit making spawn sounded awful.

Caolela 2 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) I'm tellin' yas, whoever the geniuses were at Blizz that dreamed up and okie-doked the Frenzied & Yu'lon's Bite trinkets shouldn't be having babies, (bacon notwithstanding). Zagam 1,983 Report post Posted October 25, 2013 Probably the same cracked out programmer/developer who thought a trinket giving 84% Haste, Mastery, Spirit, and Crit damage was a good idea. Anyone remember the initial Amp trinkets? We're shitting our pants getting 6-9% Amp....imagine our Mastery if it went up EIGHTY-FOUR PERCENT...

More support for my theory that they're intentionally creating insanely overpowered trinkets to intentionally skyrocket our DPS to make further cause for their item level squish. "See? Look at what's happened this expansion, DPS has gone from 100k to 400k, with people breaking 800k on some fights! It's completely because of our item level scaling method and in no way part of us intentionally making retardedly broken trinkets."

I don't really think that's so, I think it's more like "Well, it's the last time these suckers are gonna see this kind of numbers, so let's give them their candy". I think everyone has accepted the item squish by now.
