Professor Putricide has been revealed by DDaHyoNi.

If you've missed any of the previously revealed cards, feel free to check them out on our Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion hub.

Bring it On!

This card is quite the surprise, and the second in the set seemingly designed to punish spell-heavy/combo decks. Whether this is viable depends entirely on the meta at hand, of course, but there is intricate synergy at play here between Dirty Rat and Shield Slam; pull a minion out, thus avoiding the downside of reducing its cost, then slam it right in for a mighty 10 damage. Could it also be used to bait board swarms for an impending Brawl? I like it.

Considering mages are very lacking in the 3-drop department, we may be looking at a new mage staple here, especially considering how popular Frostbolt and Primordial Glyph currently are. The revealed mage death knight card also seems to promote the use of Water Elemental, furthering your ability to get value out of the Freeze-related effect. Might Freeze mages even consider running this? Probably, since their game plan is all about... well, Freezing and drawing. Pretty cool card, if I may.

Both cards look good to me, slight drawback on the warrior one but easy enough to play around.

Edit: How are mages lacking in the 3-drop department?    Aside from secrets & spells a plenty, you have stonehill defender(IMO the best card in Un'Goro in hindsight), kirin tor mage, kabal courier, etc etc.

I think the drawback may end up being an excellent advantage when used correctly. With the sheer amount of removal Warriors have, you can find yourself baiting out a big drop on turn 6-7 and slamming it immediately. People will get too cocky, for sure.

Unless you are playing secret mage, you are generally playing a very passive turn 3, a 2/2, an ice block, an arcane intellect, nothing that really contests the board well.

The mage card looks. . . good.  If we get one more good freeze effect, then it will be broken strong.  a 3 mana 3/4 is already pretty good, and even if it draws you a card only half the time, it is still constructed broken.  The warrior card, I am a little on the fence about.  Generally cards that give just armor are bad.  But 10 armor is enough to stabalize vs aggro as well as enough to generally shut freeze mage out of the game (assuming you don't give them a 5 mana tony to go off on).  I have my doubts that this card will see a lot of play, but it could definitely be a 1 of tech choice in the right meta.

There might even be times when you can essentially just throw it down against zoo and it will make no difference since they'll be full of cheap minions. Against spell decks it will be absolutely brilliant, though, assuming you don't get unlucky. It'll just be Dirty Rat 2.0 in a sense.

      Jump into Hearthstone's tenth expansion!
The last expansion of the Year of the Raven is now live in all regions and we have compiled everything you need to know about it!
Rastakhan's Rumble introduces the new Overkill keyword and two different types of class cards - Spirits (Rare) and Loa (Legendary). As usual, each class will have two Legendaries: a Loa and the class Champion. The whole thematic of the expansion is that each class is a team of their own, so most class cards synergise well with each other. You can find all of the 135 cards revealed in our dedicated expansion hub.

Upon logging in, you will receive a bunch of free stuff. You will get one of the nine Legendary Loa, as well as two Spirits from the same class. You will also get 6 Rastakhan's Rumble packs for free - and an additional one if you participated in the voting that took place on the official site. These rewards won't be around forever, so grab them during the expansion's launch period!
The Rumble Run is the single-player adventure mode that accompanies this expansion. It will be released in 9 days from today, on December 13.
Don't forget to share your best pack openings, as well as some week 1 crazy decks that you like!
