Two Mage cards have been revealed by Mineski today. Cosmic Anomaly is a 4/3 Elemental that increases Spell Damage by 2 and Shooting Star deals 1 damage to a nearby minion and the minions next to it.

Not sold on Cosmic Anomaly. Might work in some weird Burn/Elemental monstrosity, we'll see. Shooting Star, on the other hand, looks like a premium anti-aggro tech card.

Hmm, I don't know. On the one hand, Cosmic Anomaly is so far the most powerful creature ever released with more than one + Spell Damage except Malygos (the other ones so far are Evolved Kobold, Darkmire Moonkin, Jungle Moonkin and Spellweaver). But on the other hand, 4/3 for 4 is still not that exciting. It seems that Blizzard releases more and more Mage-cards that benefit from + Spell Damage or grant a better source of it. I find it quite fitting for the mage class to have more of an incentive on this...if it will be a thing in the upcoming meta is another question. But Cosmic Anomaly is definitely a way better deal than Evolved Kobold...and this one saw a bit of play.

Oh and "Shooting Star" is, of course, one of these cards that benefit a lot from + Spell Damage. Even if it is just half an Arcane Explosion...

Gonna say I don't like the art/name interaction on "Shooting Star".   Just what about a pink frowning face on a pillar sending out lightning brings up the name "Shooting star"?     Meh.     Frankly it's also too weak, you could arcane explosion everything for one more mana and that's not used generally, better anti aggro tools exist (including 1 cost creatures like mana wyrm).

That spell.  Is great.  It doesn't really fit into any existing archetypes, not big enough for big spell, and has too many targeting restrictions for tempo mage's taste, but maybe a more minion oriented aggro mage might just want it.  I really like the card, and it is obviously strong, just might lack a home.  The minion is okay.  Seems fair, but I don't think spell damage +2 is valuable enough to play an understated minion, especially one that gets 1 for 1ed by most 2 drops.

Blizzard released the 17.2.2 client patch for Hearthstone to fix a bug related to the closed shop that occurred due to a missing runtime dependency.
      (Source)
We’re currently in the process of deploying a 17.2.2 client patch that will address the following items:
Fixed a bug that would cause a crash on mobile when clicking the eye to see who is spectating. Fixed a few various issues that would lock the game state when playing certain cards from hand. Fixed a bug where some players in Europe were only given the option of Warrior as their free deck after graduating the new player ranks. Fixed a bug where the shop would be closed when launching Hearthstone due to a missing runtime dependency. If the shop is still closed after updating to 17.2.2, try swapping to another region on the launcher and swapping back before opening Hearthstone again.
The incorrect Mana display bug for mobile users will be fixed in the next update.

Any updates on when the incorrect mana bug for mobile players will be fixed?
Hey! This will be fixed in our next major update.

A new blog post has been released, detailing a dozen card changes coming to the game on Monday 18th of May.
Shaman is getting some much needed help, since three of its cards will be buffed - although it is debatable if these buffs will be enough to move the class out of the bottom.
As far as the nerfs are concerned, two more Demon Hunter cards (who would have thought?) are getting toned down. Scavenger's Ingenuity, Shadowjeweler Hanar, Blackjack Stunner, Imprisoned Scrap Imp, Bloodboil Brute, Bloodsworn Mercenary are also getting tweaked.
Nerfed cards will be eligible for a refund until June 1st.
The patch also brings a bug fix for Ethereal Conjurer, which was causing the game to lock by not offering any Discover options.
Don't forget you can grab a free Nemsy until May 19, as part of Patch 17.2.0.
