Spiral Abyss Guide and Best Characters in Genshin Impact

Spiral Abyss is an endgame mode available in Genshin Impact facing you off against Abyssal Corridor and Abyssal Moon, consisting of a total of 12 floors. This mode is only available for solo, and you can complete it to earn rewards such as Primogems and Mora.

To unlock Spiral Abyss, players must be at least Adventure Rank 20 or above. Once the requirement is fulfilled, head to the Domain located in Musk Reef. After interacting with the Domain for the first time, the Domain will serve as another Teleport Waypoint for fast exploration.

Spiral Abyss are divided into two parts: The "Abyss Corridor" (floors 1-8) and the "Abyssal Moon Spire" (floors 9-12). You need to complete all 8 floors of Abyss Corridor to unlock the Abyssal Moon Spire, as this show that your teams are ready to face off more challenging enemies.

The Abyss Corridor's rewards can only be collected once after completing all the objectives, but the Abyssal Moon Spire's rewards reset on the 16th of each month, which will also cause a new period of Blessing of the Abyssal Moon to begin.

There are quite a few number of restrictions players need to know before entering the Spiral Abyss:

• Consuming foods or using any potions
• Changing party members after entering the challenge
• Changing artifacts or weapons for any character after entering the challenge
• Leveling or ascending characters after entering any battle

Each floors in Spiral Abyss has a different buff called Ley Line Disorders, it may provide buffs to the team, debuffs to enemies, or both. Creating a team centralized around the Ley Line Disorders will give you more advantage to win the battle.

From floor 1 to 4, you only need to use a single team consisting of maximum 4 party members as these are the beginner stage for you to test out Spiral Abyss. Starting from floor 5 until 12, you need to create 2 teams to challenge two different chambers of a single stage. The same character cannot be used in both teams.

Before starting the challenge in each chamber, players must choose a single Benediction of the Abyss out of three. It is a buff that will assist you in the battle. Keep in mind that there are 3 types of Benediction of the Abyss in the Spiral Abyss, and you can see it at the bottom of the cards:

• Effective this floor: The given buff will last until entering the next floor
• Effective this chamber: The given buff will last until entering the next chamber
• Effective immediately: The given buff will take effect instantly after being chosen

Spiral Abyss (Abyssal Moon Spire) floor 9 to 12 will have a monthly reset on the 16th, and that includes the global buff given called Blessing of the Abyssal Moon. This buff will apply throughout the entire month, in all floors.

There are a range of rewards available from Spiral Abyss with the main rewards being the challenge rewards available which grant Primogems, Materials, and Artifacts.

The most notable rewards may be the free 4-star standard characters: Xiangling and Collei. Xiangling can be obtained after completing Floor 3, Chamber 3. While Collei will be available after completing Floor 4, Chamber 3.

There are 2 different rewards you can obtain by completing each chamber and accumulate the stars:

• Chamber's Bounty: Players can get this reward after clearing each chamber for the first time
• Star's Bounty: Collect enough Abyssal Stars in each chamber to get the rewards from Star's Bounty
