Spiral Abyss Floor 1 Guide and Best Characters in Genshin Impact

In the first chamber of Floor 1, you will face a group of Electro Slimes, Large Electro Slimes, and Mutant Electro Slimes in a continuous wave. Once you defeat a Slime, the next one will appear on the arena until all 23 enemies will are defeated. All of them have one thing in common, which is the immunity toward Electro element. If you bring along an Electro character, you don't have to swap them in for this stage, and just use other characters. All the enemies will chase after you, so even without Anemo Crowd Control, you should be able to gather them in one place without any hassle. The best strategy here is to trigger any Electro-related reactions (especially Overload) to immediately defeat them.

There are multiple waves in this chamber, and the first one features Hilichurl Fighter, Wooden Shield Hilichurl Guard, Hilichurl Shooter, and Hilichurl Grenadier. Similar to the previous chamber, once you defeat any one of them, the next one will appear until a total of 20 enemies are defeated. Among all the enemies here, the one you need to focus on the most are the Hilichurl Shooter. This is because the other Hilichurls are melee attacker and will chase after you. Meanwhile, Hilichurl Shooter will stay in place and shoot you from afar. After all Hilichurl Shooters are defeated, you can then focus on the other enemies.

The second wave will have a Wooden Shieldwall Mitachurl and Blazing Axe Mitachurl. Wooden Shieldwall Mitachurl has a really strong wooden shield, so you need to rely on Pyro attacks to burn his shield until its destroyed before you can properly attack him.

The first wave spawns 2 Hilichurl Shooters and a Wooden Shieldwall Mitachurl. Focus on defeating the Hilichurl Shooters first before attacking the Mitachurl. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the Mitachurl as it may do a lunge attack that will do a considerable damage to your active character and may knock them back.

The last wave will have a Large Electro Slime, Mutant Electro Slime, and a Fatui Electro Cicin Mage. Cicin Mage has the ability to summon a group of Cicins, and these small bugs can confuse your active character's auto-target attacks. Even with this mechanic, it's best if you focus on the Electro Slimes first because it's easier to defeat them with their constant Electro state (make sure to trigger Electro-related reactions on them). Only after that can you focus on the Fatui Electro Cicin Mage. If you did not defeat all the Cicin in time, she will absorbs them all back and create a shield before flying towards you. You can either destroy the shield with Pyro or just keep running away from her for 12 seconds until the shield will be removed automatically.
