Zibai Best Teams and Team Compositions

Columbina is the main Hydro character to play in Zibai teams. Both due to her ability to increase Lunar reaction DMG as well as having Moonsign Synergy with Zibai who increases the party's Moonsign level by 1.

Illuga is the best 4-star Geo option to pair with Zibai. He provides an increase to the party's Moonsign level, grants Elemental Mastery to allies, and provides additional damage buffs based on the number of Geo and Hydro characters in the team, synergizing perfectly with Zibai’s kit.

Zibai is a Lunar DPS, and Columbina is expected to be her best-in-slot support due to the massive buffs she provides. However, for players who do not own Columbina, there are alternative options that can still perform well with only a moderate damage loss.

• Mona can be a strong option in teams such as Zibai / Aino / Mona / Durin. Mona provides Hexerei buffs for Durin, offers decent Hydro application, increases Geo and Pyro RES Shred, and can hold Prototype Amber to provide additional healing in teams without a dedicated healer.
• Aino can act as a direct replacement for Columbina. While she provides fewer buffs overall, she performs well when Columbina is unavailable, especially at higher constellations such as C1 The Theory of Ash—Field Equilibrium and C6 The Burden of Creative Genius.
• Xingqiu remains one of the best off-field Hydro applicators in the game. He provides consistent Hydro application, resistance to interruption, and small amounts of healing, making him especially valuable in teams without a dedicated healer.
• Sangonomiya Kokomi is another strong Hydro option, especially in teams that require additional sustain. She provides consistent Hydro application alongside reliable team-wide healing, making her a comfortable alternative when survivability is a priority.
• Barbara fills a similar role to Kokomi as a more accessible F2P option. While her Hydro application and utility are more limited, she still offers consistent healing and can function as a budget replacement when Kokomi is unavailable.
• Dahlia can also be used as a defensive option, providing shielding and additional sustain for the team. While she does not offer Hydro application, her defensive utility can help stabilize Zibai teams that lack survivability.

Illuga is expected to be the best Geo option for Zibai, as she triggers Ascendant Gleam while providing both DEF and Elemental Mastery, which synergize perfectly with Zibai’s kit. However, additional Geo characters can still be valuable depending on team needs.

• Gorou is one of the strongest Geo supports for Zibai outside of Illuga. His Elemental Skill, Inuzaka All-Round Defense, provides significant DEF buffs and resistance to interruption, while his 1st Ascension Passive, Heedless of the Wind and Weather, further increases DEF for the team, making him an excellent buffer for Zibai.
• Kachina is another viable option, providing off-field Geo application. At higher constellations, particularly C4 More Foes, More Caution, she can also grant additional DEF, making her a solid supportive choice for Zibai.
• Zhongli offers strong defensive utility through his shield, off-field Geo damage, and a universal 20% RES Shred, making him a comfortable and flexible option for Zibai teams.
• Albedo is a strong option due to his passive Homuncular Nature, which grants 125 Elemental Mastery to the active character, significantly benefiting Zibai’s reaction-based damage.
• Geo Traveler can also be used as a budget Geo option, providing off-field Geo constructs and additional utility. At C1 Invincible Stonewall, the Geo Traveler grants extra CRIT Rate, making them a respectable choice for Zibai.
• Yun Jin is a more situational option. At higher constellations, especially C1 and C6 Decorous Harmony, she can increase Normal Attack damage and attack speed. While not ideal, she can still function in Zibai teams when other options are unavailable.
