Brandishing two weapons, a Glaive and a Spear, Glaivier offers fluid gameplay at both close and mid-range. Packed full of utility and being one of the more mobile advanced classes in the game, Glaivier comes in two playstyles, Control and Pinnacle.

Pinnacle: Skill Descriptions, Tripods, Gems and Runes

With access to both stances, there's a lot of skills to choose from for Pinnacle Icon Pinnacle. The skills you'll invest in will vary depending on your skill build.

1.1.

Flurry Stance Skills

Shackling Blue Dragon is your most valuable button, providing 18% Critical Rate synergy. It also deals Weak Point damage.
Half Moon Slash is our third strongest skill. Its multi-hit property makes it the go-to for proccing Judgment / Conviction.
Raging Dragon Slash provides good stagger and damage, being the fourth strongest skill in our kit.
Wheel of Blades is recommended for its good stagger and damage. Its multi-hit property makes it the go-to for proccing Judgment.
Chain Slash is a suitable skill taken in 5/2 builds, an option along with Stampeding Slash.
Stampeding Slash is a suitable skill taken in 5/2 builds, an option along with Chain Slash.
Flash Kick is a good mobility tool that has similar range to your Spacebar.
Thorn Jab is your counter skill and is good to upkeep Adrenaline given it's low cooldown. Optional, given you also have Spiraling Spear.

Focus Stance Skills

Red Dragon's Horn is our strongest skill available, with high base damage that scales well with the stance's increased Critical Damage.
Thrust of Destruction is your second highest DPS skill with a high Critical Rate from Air-Splitting Slash & Shackling Blue Dragon.
4-Headed Dragon is an optional skill to invest in for DPS if taken over Starfall Pounce. Aside from this, it's a good tool for gaining meter.
Starfall Pounce is reminiscent of a Dragoon's jump from FFXIV, with the position of your character not changing until you land. It deals decent damage, comparable to 4-Headed Dragon.
Spiraling Spear is a quick counter and Weak Point skill. Spammable, it's typically chosen for fishing Purify procs.
Dragonscale Defense serves as a parry, giving you push immunity and a shield scaling off your HP & skill level. You cannot survive wipe mechanics when using this skill or prevent status aliments, unless you spec Absolute Defense.
