Mists of Pandaria Classic Holy Paladin Leveling
On this page, you will find our level-by-level Holy Paladin leveling guide for WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic.
Holy Paladin Leveling in MOP Classic
Holy is not recommended for solo leveling as it is much
slower at killing enemies than the other specializations. If you want to level as
Holy, we suggest playing almost entirely in dungeons as a
healer. If you are interested in the fastest solo leveling experience with a caster
playstyle, check out our
Retribution Paladin Leveling
Guide.
Leveling Talents

In Mists of Pandaria, talent trees were revamped to become much simpler. Very few talents will be massively impactful in your leveling experience, but some can increase movement speed as well as damage output, allowing you to kill enemies faster and progress through quests or dungeons at a faster pace. Key recommended talents will be broken down below:
Speed of Light — Increases your movement speed significantly.
Eternal Flame — The HoT effect will allow you to focus more on outputting damage to speed things up.
Holy Avenger — an additional cooldown, allowing you to output damage and healing at a faster pace.
Light's Hammer — similar to Holy Avenger, gives you an addiitional cooldown.
Holy Paladin Leveling Glyphs
Major Glyphs
In your Major Glyphs we recommend Glyph of Denounce will give you more access to
Denounce, increasing
your damage output.
Glyph of Protector of the Innocent will give you additional self-healing if you are leveling with
a party or find yourself in dungeons. Finally,
Glyph of Flash of Light increases the healing you do to players after
casting
Flash of Light on them, while largely unimpactful, there aren't many great choices left for the final slot.
Minor Glyphs
Minor glyphs will not increase your leveling speed, but Glyph of Righteous Retreat will allow you to pull off the famous
"bubble hearth", meaning that you press
Divine Shield followed by your Hearthstone to get wherever you are going faster.
Leveling Rotation
The leveling rotation for Holy Paladin will be fairly simple, especially when focused on dealing damage to speed up
kills. Generally you will want to make sure you are casting Holy Shock as much as possible for either damage
or healing. When you want to fully commit to dealing damage, you can also follow this by casting
Denounce or other
DPS abilities such as
Crusader Strike. When healing, you should aim to generate and spend holy power as much as possible.
This means casting
Holy Shock and
Holy Radiance to generate Holy Power, followed by
Eternal Flame or
Light of Dawn to heal your party members.
