Mists of Pandaria Classic Holy Paladin Talent Builds
On this page, you will find out the best PvE talent choices and builds for your Holy Paladin in Mists of Pandaria Classic, as well as advised glyphs.
Talent Builds for Holy Paladin
Holy Paladin has two primary builds with only
one key change. One build will focus on
Eternal Flame where the other will focus on
Selfless Healer.
Generally you will opt for a
Eternal Flame build as this tends to output the highest numbers and will
be our recommended talent build below.
Holy Paladin Healing Spec

This spec goes is focused on maximizing our healing output through Eternal Flame. You will focus on
generating Holy Power as much as possible and consuming it through
Eternal Flame while using your additional
cooldowns:
Holy Avenger and
Light's Hammer as much as possible.
Notable Talents
In this section we will go over some of the key talents you will use when you
are playing a Holy Paladin.
Be sure to understand your most important talents as they are vital to play the
build to its fullest strength.
Eternal Flame — this talent replaces your
Word of Glory ability and will be your primary way of consuming Holy Power when playing an EF focused build. This ability deals a large amount of healing upfront and leaves a HoT effect on the player.
Selfless Healer — This talent directly competes with
Eternal Flame and will change your rotation significantly when talented into.
Judgement will now generate Holy Power as well as reduce the cast time and increase the healing of your next casted ability. It is important than when you do spec into this talent, you are casting
Judgement off cooldown as much as possible.
Holy Avenger m‐ causes your Holy Power generating abilities to grant 3 Holy Power instead of 1 for the cooldown duration. You will want to use this during large damage windows to increase the amount of times you are able to cast either
Eternal Flame or
Light of Dawn.
Light's Hammer m‐ allows you to place a hammer on the ground radiating healing and damage. It is important that when using this ability, you are saving it for when you know the enmies or your allies are unlikely to move, that way you are able to stay in the radius as long as possible, maximizing the output.
Major Glyphs
Glyphs were revamped in Mists of Pandaria and no longer provide you a large throughput increase. The most notable ones will be listed below:
Glyph of Divine Plea m‐ allows you more access to
Divine Plea while also decreasing the amount of mana you regain. More access tends to line up for better kill times and more consistent mana.
Glyph of Beacon of Light m‐ removes the global cooldown of
Beacon of Light, allowing you to quickly swap it during combat. This can be useful anytime you are on an encounter where it can be beneficial to move your Beacon around.
Glyph of Light of Dawn m‐ while not very useful in
Eternal Flame builds or when in a 25-man group, this glyph can be useful in 10m raids where you may need additional AoE healing.
Glyph of Flash of Light m‐ places a buff on targets healed by
Flash of Light, increasing your next heal on them by 10%. This is only useful in small group settings or when you find yourself casting Flash of Light often, which should be rare.
Minor Glyphs
Minor glyphs typically provide no benefits. Your choices will typically depend on what quality of life increase is the most meaningful for you.
