Akane Rin's Stat Priority

Akane is a Lakshana DPS who benefits greatly from high ATK and CRIT stats. Since Street Boxer gives Akane a large boost to her CRIT Rate, CRIT Rate may be less important in her substats depending on the Arc she is using, allowing you to focus on other bonuses.

Akane Rin's Skill Priority

A large portion of her damage comes from her Redirect Skill triggering Reverb Field or Overtone Synced Resonance DMG, so her skill should be the first priority. Basic ATK should be her next priority to maximize her damage as she builds up String Energy for those Synced Resonance attacks. Her Ultimate is next, as it provides a strong hit of damage on par with the Synced Resonance attacks. However, she cannot use her Ultimate as frequently as her Redirect Skill, making it less of a priority. Her Support Skill is her last priority as it is not a major source of damage.

Akane Rin's Awakening Priority

If you have one or multiple copies of a character, you will be able to select Awakenings of your choosing. Remember that you can switch them at any time to try out different ones, or tailor your choices for a specific fight or situation.

How to Play Akane Rin

Akane Rin is a Lakshana main DPS focused on using her basic attacks and Redirect Skill for the majority of her damage. Her unique Remora enhancement allows her to produce additional Remora stacks onto enemies as well as deal damage to those enemies whenever a stack is applied.

Akane's Redirect Skill has two different variations depending on whether it is held or pressed. The pressed mode inflicts Overtone on an enemy, allowing her basic attacks to deal damage to that enemy even at a range and boosting her basic attack. Her held Redirect Skill puts down a Reverb Field in an area around her and allows her basic attack to target all enemies within the field. This makes Akane highly effective in both single target and group situations.

It is important to note that only one of the two skill effects can be active at a single time, so choosing the right one is important in fights. However, she can switch between them with every use of her skill, so she is never locked into one for long if one is mistakenly cast instead of the other.

Akane has a unique energy called String Energy that she builds with her basic attack combo. When Akane builds enough String Energy through her basic attack, she is able to access an enhanced skill attack dealing a large hit of damage to enemies as long as one of her Redirect Skills is active.

Akane's Ultimate, in addition to its damage, puts her in the Solo Cadenza state, increasing her interruption resistance and unlocking a secondary ultimate attack able to do a large amount of damage.

In rotations, Akane Rin wants as much on-field time as she can, so it is best to only switch off to refresh any support abilities, or activate cycle reactions, before switching back. Her Ultimate state and Redirect Skill effects, however, do not stop when she is off-field. This means it is possible to switch to supports if needed, even during her Ultimate.

It is important to note that the durations of her Redirect Skill effects and Ultimate Solo Cadenza states are not paused when she is off-field, making it so that they can expire. This is particularly important for her Ultimate as it will cause her to lose the second large hit of damage her ultimate provides.
