Akane Rin's Best Team Compositions & Character Synergies

Welcome to our Akane Rin team composition guide and character synergies overview for Neverness to Everness. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Akane Rin, including recommended characters, character synergies and team compositions to help her reach their full potential.

Best Pairings and Synergies With Akane Rin

Akane Rin is a main DPS Lakshana Esper focused on her normal and skill damage. She provides an enhancement to Remora, allowing her to reapply Remora without triggering an Esper Cycle reaction. This works particularly well within a Charge team as it lets the Cosmos characters focus on producing Blossom with the Anima character rather than reacting with Akane.

Listed below are some of the notable Espers that work well with Akane, though this is not an exhaustive list, as she can work as a main DPS in a variety of different teams.

Zero
Zero

Zero is an Cosmos Esper able to trigger the Remora Esper Cycle effect when paired with Akane, as well as Charge when paired with an additional Anima Character. Zero's Skill fully charges his Esper Cycle gauge, allowing him to trigger a Cycle Reaction. When paired with Akane's bonus, this allows the team to trigger Charge very consistently and helps keep Ultimates ready to use.

Blackbird
Blackbird

Blackbird is an Psyche Esper able to trigger the Stain Esper Cycle effect when paired with Akane. Her unique Stain enhancement boosts its damage and duration, allowing Akane to deal more damage. In addition, Blackbird's Ultimate provides an ATK buff, further increasing Akane's damage.

Hotori
Hotori

Hotori is an Cosmos Esper able to trigger the Remora Esper Cycle effect when paired with Akane, as well as Charge when paired with an additional Anima Character. Hotori is able to copy another Esper's Skill when they use it and replay it during her Ultimate. As Akane's Skill is fairly strong, this allows for a good bit of extra damage during Hotori's Ultimate.

Iroi
Iroi

Iroi is an Anima Esper able to trigger the Blossom Esper Cycle effect when paired with a Cosmos character allowing the team as a whole to trigger Charge with Akane. She is a support character that can buff Akane's ATK and provide consistent healing. This allows Akane to worry less about dodging every hit as she focuses on her damage.

Linko
Linko

Linko is an Anima Esper able to trigger the Blossom Esper Cycle effect when paired with a Cosmos character, allowing the team as a whole to trigger Charge with Akane. Linko is also able to reduce the target's Lakshana resistance, boosting Akane's damage against them. In addition, because Akane's Support Skill grants her some String Energy whenever Linko's Redirect Skill or Ultimate is used with Akane, she will gain even more String Energy so she can use her Enhanced Skill more often.

Haniel
Haniel

Haniel is an Psyche Esper able to trigger the Stain Esper Cycle effect when paired with Akane. Haniel is another ATK buffer, with both her Skill and Ultimate providing the buff. This makes it very easy to keep active on Akane and the rest of the team.

Akane Rin's Best Teams

Listed below are a range of team compositions we recommend you use with Akane Rin. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect their overall power level.

A Charge team that is also easily able to trigger Stain, allowing Akane to gain increased Ultimate charge and a boost to her damage.
A Charge team with a focus on Blossom generation.
A team able to trigger a variety of different cycle reactions. Blackbird provides the team with a damage boost while Hotori and Daffodill work as sub-DPS and Akane as a main DPS.
A free-to-play Charge team with Haniel providing an ATK buff and allowing the Stain Esper Cycle.
