Best Console Setups for Aurelia
Aurelia's Console bonus is a 10% ATK bonus for every Type III Module.
Devil's Blood: Curse
2-piece: Epic (2): Psyche DMG +10%.
4-piece: Legendary (4): Increases wearer's DMG by 18%. The bonus becomes 36% against units affected by Nova or Stain.
Aurelia is an Attack scaling Esper that also benefits greatly from CRIT. CRIT Rate is the recommend Mainstat, as it will help her CRIT consistently with her attacks, especially when running a CRIT Arc as well. If CRIT Rate is not available, ATK% or Psyche DMG% is recommended over CRIT DMG, as it will be harder for her to gain enough CRIT Rate through substats alone.
Aurelia's Skill Priority
Aurelia's main source of damage comes from her different Basic Attacks and should be prioritized. Her Ultimate is her next biggest damage contributor, with her Skill and Support Skill being her last priorities. While her Skill does buff part of her Basic Attack, this buff does not increase or scale with higher skill levels.
Aurelia's Awakening Priority
If you have one or multiple copies of a character, you will be able to select Awakenings of your choosing. The following is a recommendation of what order to generally select for Aurelia's Awakenings.
| Awakening Unlock Order | Explanation |
|---|---|
| A6: Bygone Fugue | Her first priority for her Awakening should be her A6 as it doubles the maximum stacks and damage increase provided by the Crescendo Passive Skill. |
| A1: Futuristic Prelude | Aurelia's next best Awakening to unlock is her A1. The direct CRIT Rate increase helps her damage while in the Cadenza State, and will allow you to reach very high CRIT Rates much easier. |
| A2: Unique Melody | The third recommended Awakening for Aurelia is her A2. This Awakening provides Aurelia with an additional and very reliable way to enter the Cadenza State. This pairs well with her A1 as it helps her have the CRIT Rate increase active more often in fights, especially against aggressive enemies that you can Critical Dodge for very high uptimes. |
| A5: Simple Melody | Aurelia's fourth recommended Awakening is Simple Melody, providing her with a CRIT rate increase to her Ultimate. The CRIT Rate of this Awakening stacks with the one provided by her A1, for a whopping 30% CRIT! |
| A3: Trio Rest | Trio Rest should be her next recommended unlock. This Awakening improves her Ultimate damage during Cadenza, and works particularly well if she has her A1 and A3 for their CRIT Rate to further increase the Ultimate damage. With her A2, you will also always be able to meet the conditional of this Awakening with just a Critical Dodge. |
| A4: Staff Gap | Her A4 is Aurelia's last recommended Awakening. While it does help her survivability it does not help with her damage. |
How to Play Aurelia
Aurelia's playstyle as on on-field DPS is straightforward. She simply wants to use her special held Basic Attack and Ultimate for the majority of her damage, and her skill is used to buff herself.
When starting off her rotation, you want to use her Skill which puts her in the Cadenza state, enhancing her Jellyfish Blast attacks. Immediately after you should hold dodge while moving and start her auto Basic Attack. This will begin firing her Jellyfish Blasts as long as she keeps moving and has the Stamina for it.
Stamina is a very important resource for her as the held dodge basic attack continuously drains it as she moves; running out of Stamina will stop her attacks. Additionally, dodging enemy attacks requires Stamina, so running out leaves her more vulnerable for a time.
Her Ultimate can be used any time during her rotation, though it should be saved for when she is in the Credenza state, especially if you have her A3 and A1 Awakenings unlocked. In addition to the damage it does, her Ultimate is able to draw in smaller enemies, making it very useful for crowd control and helping her take advantage of the AoE damage the Jellyfish Blasts inflicts in the Credenza state.
