Best Pairings and Synergies With Haniel

Haniel is a buffing Psyche Esper, capable of supporting any ATK-scaling Esper, regardless of Element. However, she works particularly well when paired with Chaos Espers thanks to her Nova Esper Cycle Enhancement which drains Enemy ATK, and providing an additional buff to her teammates instead. When combined with a Lakshana character, they can produce a Stain reaction which reduce the enemy's resistance to both Elements. Below are some notable teammates for Haniel, however this is not an exhaustive list, as Haniel is a very versatile character.

Daffodill is a Chaos Esper that can be paired with Haniel to activate the Nova reaction, as well as helping produce the Discord reaction when paired with an Incantation Esper. Between Daffodill's stagger and Haniel's ATK buffs, they make a great duo for almost every team.

Baicang is a Incantation Esper able to create the Discord Esper Cycle Reaction with Haniel and a Chaos Esper. In addition, as an Attack-scaling DPS, Esper he will benefit greatly from Haniel's buffs.

Sakiri is a Incantation Esper similarly to Baicang. Once you add a Chaos character to the mix, the three are able to produce the Discord Esper Cycle Reaction for big stuns and damage. Sakiri is another ATK buffing character, so when paired with Haniel they will both buff each other's damage, and any other Espers on their team. Whether this is preferable to just running another sub-DPS remains to be seen, however.

Hathor is a Lakshana Esper which, when paired with Haniel, causes the Stain Cycle reaction, making the enemies much weaker to both Lakshana and Psyche damage. Hathor also benefits greatly from Haniel's ATK buffing, and together you can set up some great Lakshana bursts.

A Discord Reaction team, providing strong buffs to all characters and frequent staggers.

A team allowing for both Psyche-based reactions as well as the Remora reaction between Lakshana and Cosmos. This team also greatly benefits from Haniel's buff.
