Increases the active character's ATK by 10% while the wearer is off-field, and increases the active character's ATK by 2% when the wearer deals damage, up to 4 stacks and triggering at most once every 2s. Resets the effect when the wearer becomes the active character.
Increases Psyche DMG by 12% while the wearer is the active character, and increases Psyche DMG by 2% when dealing Psyche DMG with a Basic Attack, up to 10 stacks. Triggers at most once every 0.3s. Resets the effect when switching characters.

Best Console Setups for Haniel

Important Note

It is important to note that unlike many other games, in NTE supports like Haniel only scale team-wide ATK buffs based on their Base Attack (Character ATK and Arc's flat ATK). This means that her console or modules do not impact the strength of the ATK buff she provides to her teammates.

Speedy Hedgehog

2-piece: Epic (2): Charge Efficiency +12%.
4-piece: Legendary (4): Increases all allies' ATK by 15% for 20s after the wearer casts Ultimate. Effect does not stack.

Speedy Hedgehog is a great cartridge to use with Haniel as it provides an additional Attack buff to her allies whenever she uses her Ultimate, and helps her charge her Ultimate to use it more often. This cartridge only requires Type III Modules, meaning she can run the full set effect while also gaining her maximum console bonus of 60% Attack. It is important to note that the 4-piece set effect cannot stack, so if you are running a team with a character such as Sakiri who is also a good user of Speedy Hedgehog, it is best if only one Esper uses this specific cartridge. Below is an example setup with the maximum bonus for Haniel.

Devil's Blood: Curse is a great alternative for Haniel if you cannot use Speedy Hedgehog. it is recommended to run the full set effect giving the Psyche DMG bonus and increasing the wearer's damage especially if running a team able to trigger Stain or Nova giving her a great increase to her personal damage.

Haniel's Stat Priority

Her ATK buff is only based on her Base attack meaning that you want to focus CRIT, ATK, and Universal damage bonuses for her personal damage contribution as the console doesn't impact her buff.

Haniel's Skill Priority

Chances are, if you're playing Haniel you do so to get the most out of her supporting capabilities. Both her Skill and Ultimate provide a team-wide ATK% bonus, which scales with the level of the ability. You therefore want to increase it over her Basic Attack or Support Skill, to fully leverage her team-support potential.

Haniel's Awakening Priority

If you have one or multiple copies of a character, you will be able to select Awakenings of your choosing. The following is a recommendation of what order to generally select for Haniel's Awakenings. Remember that you can switch them at any time to try out different ones, or tailor your choices for a specific fight or situation.

How to Play Haniel

Haniel is a buff-support character who is largely played off-field. She does best with quick rotations, switching on-field to refresh her buff and use her Basic Attack: Paranormal Cannon, before being swapped out again.

Haniel is a specialized ATK buffer character providing her buff to her teammates through either her Redirect Skill or Ultimate. This buff is based on Haniel's base ATK (character ATK + Arc Base ATK only) and impacts all characters, even those off-field, including herself.

A mistake to avoid is only leveling her Redirect Skill or Ultimate instead of both. They both give equivalent ATK buffs, but the ATK buff scales with each investment individually, meaning a level in her Skill does not increase the ATK buff of her Ultimate and vice versa.

Haniel, in addition to her buff, is able to deal off-field damage through her summon Hootie. While her skill is active, Hootie is summoned to the field where it builds up Four-Part Harmony. 1 stack of Four-Part Harmony is gained when the active character attacks. Once 4 stacks are accumulated, Hootie does a burst of Psyche Damage and gives Haniel 1 stack of Plot Armor.

Haniel's Plot armor is used to enhance her held Basic Attack: Paranormal Cannon. Every stack increases how often the attack ricochets between enemies, making it very useful against groups of enemies. Her stacks are shown as musical notes above her health bar.

Her rotation within the team is very simple, as you just want to activate her Skill and Ultimate, when available, as well as launch Paranormal Cannon, if at max stacks, before switching off to the next character. However, timing when to switch to her is important, as the cooldown of her Skill compared to the duration of her buff leaves a lot of time without the buff active in the team. It is best to prioritize her activating the buff right before switching to your main on-field character to maximize their time with the ATK buff. If you have her Awakenings 2 and 6 unlocked, this is a lot less of an issue, making her rotations a lot more flexible.

Additionally, during fights, her ultimate also pauses the duration of her Skill's buff, meaning that activating both at the same time in a team does not waste either of them.
