The ninety-ninth card to be revealed from Knights of the Frozen Throne is Forge of Souls, a Warrior Spell.

The card was revealed by Hearthstonetopdecks.

Forge of Souls is a tough card to assess. Drawing two cards for two Mana is a great starting point though. Beyond that, it is all about how you make use of the weapons in hand. Weapons' great strength is the tempo that they gain, but casting a card to fetch them is the opposite of that. This seems to indicate that the card will be better used in a value deck than in an aggressive one.

For a full list of previously revealed cards, as well as all of the information about the new expansion, check out our Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion hub.

I could see this as a 1 of in pirate decks to keep the burn train going at the end of the game.  In control, it is hard to assess though.  Weapons are nice, but really, you only run a couple of them and you mulligan hard for your win axes.  It might see play in a patron style of deck where you really want to fetch your deaths bite or the new warrior weapon.  Interesting, and I think it is good to see tutor costed so efficiently and not immediately come off as overpowered.

I don't think that this card can work in Pirate warrior. Aggressive decks don't  want two weapons in their hand because you can't play both in the same\next turn. It is even worse in Pirate warrior that can have the same weapon upgraded again and again for several turns.

Trump said during his stream that Death Knight Garrosh will be able to dual-wield. Do you think it's real, or was he just making fun? If it's real, Forge of Souls has strong synergy with it.

Even if its possible to dual wield,I dont think its going to be that strong, especially if pirate warrior and any paladin decks will be in the meta everyone will be running weapon removal, so its really hard to get value out of dual wield or weapon based decks in general. Also too many weapons in your deck sounds like something that would really easily cause your hand to get super clunky. Still, considering what the other effects of the Warrior DK will be, it can be strong of course.

Haven't there been a few streamers that have been joking around and "pretending" to leak cards? Not sure if Trump fits in there, but his acting after he said it seems a bit on the playful side.

My sentiments exactly. Prison Trump's back, maybe? But it's not like we will have to wait long to see whether he was just joking

While that is true. a lot of the time pirate warriors have 2 extra mana they hero power with around turn 5 or 6, sometimes earlier, and this basically gets them a weapon + a second weapon instead of 2 armor.  On top of that, top decking this gives them something to hit their opponents face with for the next 4 turns and thins their deck while they are trying to finish their opponent off.  It is very hard to stabilize while an arcanite reaper is smashing you in the face.  I think there are definitely merits of this in aggressive warrior decks.

Hobart Grapplehammer perked up when he saw this reveal. The poor guy's been a benchwarmer for too long!

I'd love to see someone hit Legend with "weapon warrior".

Dave Kosak introduces us to the Monster Hunt, which will be available in a week.
The Lead Mission Designer was joined by two of his associates to discuss the newest PvE mode, which will come along with The Witchwood. Paul Nguyen talked about the four heroes. Tess Greymane has a Hero Power that lets her Discover any class card that has been played in a game (by both players) and add it to your hand.
Darius Crowley has an indestructible cannon minion that can be activated via Darius' Hero Power and fire at the minions across it. Positioning will matter, as you can kill two enemy minions at once and the Hero Power will refresh each time you kill a minion with your cannon. There weren't any details on Houndmaster Shaw or Toki, Time-Tinker, but it was hinted that the former hero will have something to do with Rush (just like its card counterpart).
Giovanni Scarpati discussed bosses and treasures. The Monster Hunt will feature over 45 unique boss encounters. As Ben Brode had revealed in an earlier interview, each hero will have its own final boss, called "nemesis fight". For Crowley it's Lord Godfrey, for Shaw it's Glinda Crowskin and for Toki it's her own future self! When you clear the Monster Hunt with all four heroes (and win four packs), you get to face Hagatha as the last boss. Ultimately, as far as the treasures are concerned, there are a few returning ones from the Dungeon Run, but most are new. There are also hero exclusive treasures, as well as unique treasures "dropping" from rare boss encounters.
You should definitely watch the video to get a glimpse of all the new stuff coming with the Monster Hunt. And don't forget: it's release date is April 26 at 10:00 am PDT!

      Ready for Action
If you played the Dungeon Run in Kobolds & Catacombs, the Monster Hunt will be eerily familiar—but much is different! Rather than choosing one of Hearthstone’s nine classes, you’ll take on the role of one of four veteran monster hunters, each with a special ability that you’ll need to make the most of if you hope to survive the hunt.
Your hunter will venture deep into the Witchwood on Hagatha’s trail, defeating a series of monstrous bosses who dare to cross your path. With each victory, you’ll build a stronger and stronger deck with the items you find. You may encounter some trusty old equipment out in the forest, but much of what you’ll find will be entirely new, including treasures unique to certain foes. Each monster hunter has their own favorite tricks—a special hero power or ability that you’ll need to master if you hope to survive the hunt. Each hunter also carries a grudge against a heinous nemesis in the woods: a unique boss that only they can track down to fight.

You’ll want to go on a Monster Hunt with every hunter, because each offers a quest that will earn you a Witchwood card pack. And if you’ve got the mettle to complete the Monster Hunt with all four hunters, you’ll finally have a chance to face off with the real witch in the woods: Hagatha! If you can free the wood from Hagatha’s curse, you’ll earn the gratitude of Gilneas and the Monster Hunter card back!

We hope you enjoyed learning more of what lurks ahead in Monster Hunt! We’re eager to hear your tales of The Witchwood on social media using the #Witchwood hashtag. Learn more about The Witchwood at TheWitchwood.com!
We’ll see you on the hunt!
