Both players get to play as Deathstalker Rexxar, the Hunter Death Knight!

It's time to experience how powerful Deathstalker Rexxar is; the hero card is, after all, included in some of the best decks of the current meta like Spell and Recruit Hunter.

The Hero Power is free in this Tavern Brawl, so you can use it all you want. It's better to use it first on your turn and it really tests your skill as you need to craft the proper Zombeast for the situation you are in. Your deck will also be filled with various random Zombeasts, as well as Hunter cards. Lastly, you will start at 3 mana.

Games can last long and your hand will be quite full most of the time, so be careful not to overdraw.

This Tavern Brawl is part of the Taverns of Time event. Good luck!

True, but tbh, I don't expect much from brawls ^^

Game design of the brawl is such a failure: You keep get Zombeasts in the deck that cost 8-9-10 + a ton of unplayable cards that fill your hand with garbage like Ball of Spiders that you can't play since they cost absurd amount of mana to do nothing at all.

They shoulda at least removed the zombeasts from the deck since you make them for free every turn and you don't need to draw 2 10 mana cards each turn from hero power and normal draw. Plus your opponent will keep fill your hand if he get King Mukla and Freezing Trap to the point you can't play anymore.

Extremely failure design the brawl was made without even trying it at all by devs. Also the random cards are much more rarely spells than minions so you clog your hand with 7+ mana cards real quick since finding something useful in the deck is quite a challenge.

Well, sometimes not overdrawing means not using hero power. In that case, probably better to create your own zombeast that you want, and mill the random one you draw...

I played a few, seemed like making small zombeasts (unless the board situation demanded otherwise) was the way forward, since like you say your hand gets full anyway.

The deck zombeasts seem a bit pointless really, tbh they could have just made your deck 30 coins.

The main problem is the slowness of the brawl. I think a -3 cost on all cards will solve it for next time.

This Tavern Brawl has the amount of RNG mixed with skill that I would like to see in each brawl. However, the ridiculous length of each game negates this. From the very few games I have played so far, it usually turns into a Tauntfest with Lifesteal to heal back up just in case anything goes wrong. With the Zombeasts having such a high cost, it takes so long to build up a board even if you know that you are ahead. Either reducing the cost of the Zombeasts or increasing the pace of the early game, such as by doubling the mana gain each turn, would be nice for the next time this brawl is up. Starting at 3 mana is simply not enough.
