Our Luka Build Guide will show you the best Lightcones, Relics and Team Compositions to help build the best Luka.

Luka's Best Light Cone

Listed below are our recommendations for Light Cones you should build around on your Luka.

Long Road Leads Home
S1
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 60.0 / 70.0 / 80.0 / 90.0 / 100%. When an enemy target's Weakness gets broken, there is a 100% base chance to inflict the "Charring" state on it, which increases its Break DMG taken by 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0 / 27.0 / 30.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack 2 time(s).

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
Long Road Leads Home is a 5-star light and is considered to be Luka's BiS. This light cone increases his break effect by a decent amount and when an enemy weakness is broken there is a 100% chance to increase break damage by 18%. This is perfect for Luka as his kit focuses on him dealing high amounts of break damage to his enemies.
Lies Dance on the Breeze
S1
Increases the wearer's SPD by 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0 / 27.0 / 30.0%. After the wearer uses an attack, there is a 120.0% base chance to inflict the "Bamboozle" state on every enemy target. While under the "Bamboozle" state, enemy targets have their DEF decreased by 16.0 / 18.0 / 20.0 / 22.0 / 24.0% for 2 turn(s). If the wearer's SPD is higher than or equal to 170, there is a 120.0% base chance to inflict the "Theft" state on every enemy target. While under the "Theft" state, enemy targets have their DEF decreased by 8.0 / 9.0 / 10.0 / 11.0 / 12.0% for 2 turn(s). When "Bamboozle" or "Theft" is repeatedly inflicted, only the most recently inflicted instance takes effect.

Sources: Event Warp (limited)
Lies Dance on the Breeze is another good 5-star light cone option for Luka. This light cone increases Luka's speed while also reducing enemy defence when inflicted with the bamboozled state. If Luka has a speed of 170 or more then the enemy defence is reduced even further. Luka will want to have high amounts of speed so that he can take his turns more often allowing him to apply his debuffs more frequently and stack up his fighting will for enhanced damage output.
Solitary Healing
S1
Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 20.0 / 25.0 / 30.0 / 35.0 / 40.0%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases DoT dealt by the wearer by 24.0 / 30.0 / 36.0 / 42.0 / 48.0%, lasting for 2 turn(s). When a target enemy suffering from DoT imposed by the wearer is defeated, regenerates 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 5.5 / 6 Energy for the wearer.

This 5-Star Lightcone is great as it increases Luka's break effect by a decent amount. In addition to this when he ises his ultimate it increases his DoT dealt for 2 turns. When an enemy inflicted by DoT effects is defeated Luka will regenerate 4 energy. This is great for increasing the amount of damage his DoT inflicts while also regenerating his energy so that he can keep uptime on his ultimate to help stack his fighting will.
Patience Is All You Need
S1
Increases DMG dealt by the wearer by 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0 / 36.0 / 40.0%. After every attack launched by wearer, their SPD increases by 4.8 / 5.6 / 6.4 / 7.2 / 8.0%, stacking up to 3 times. If the wearer hits an enemy target that is not afflicted by Erode, there is a 100% base chance to inflict Erode to the target. Enemies afflicted with Erode are also considered to be Shocked and will receive Lightning DoT at the start of each turn equal to 60.0 / 70.0 / 80.0 / 90.0 / 100% of the wearer's ATK, lasting for 1 turn(s).

Good Night and Sleep Well
S5
For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 12.0 / 15.0 / 18.0 / 21.0 / 24.0%, stacking up to 3 time(s). This effect also applies to DoT.

Holiday Thermae Escapade
S5
Increases the wearer's DMG dealt by 16.0 / 20.0 / 24.0 / 28.0 / 32.0%. After the wearer attacks, there is a 100% base chance to inflict the attacked target with Vulnerability, increasing the DMG they receive by 10.0 / 11.5 / 13.0 / 14.5 / 16.0% for 2 turn(s). Effects of the same type cannot stack.

Sources: Nameless Glory
Holiday Thermae Escapade is a 4-star light cone and another decent option for Luka. While increasing Luka's damage there is a 100% base chance at inflicting vulnerability which increases the amount of damage the inflicted enemy receives. Great for dealing that extra bit of damage without any additional benefits that the 5-star light cones offer.
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
S5
When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already "Ensnared," then there is a 60.0 / 70.0 / 80.0 / 90.0 / 100% base chance to "Ensnare" the hit enemy. "Ensnared" enemies' DEF decreases by 12.0 / 13.0 / 14.0 / 15.0 / 16.0% for 1 turn(s).

Sources: Stellar Warp
This light cone provides a 100% chance of inflicting ensnared which reduces enemy defence for one turn by 16%.

Best Relics and Planar Ornaments for Luka

Best Relics for Luka

These are the best Relic Sets to build for Luka.

Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge
2-Piece Set: Increases Break Effect by 16.0%.
4-Piece Set: If the wearer's Break Effect is 150.0% or higher, the Break DMG dealt to the enemy target ignores 10.0% of their DEF. If the wearer's Break Effect is 250.0% or higher, the Super Break DMG dealt to the enemy target additionally ignores 15.0% of their DEF.
This 4-piece relic set is Luka's BiS for Break focused builds. When Luka reaches 150% Break Effect, his Break DMG ignores 10% of the target's DEF, significantly increasing the damage dealt when he inflicts Weakness Break. The 2-piece also grants 16% Break Effect, helping him reach this threshold more easily and further enhancing his Break damage.
Prisoner in Deep Confinement
2-Piece Set: Increases ATK by 12.0%.
4-Piece Set: For every DoT the enemy target is afflicted with, the wearer will ignore 6.0% of its DEF when dealing DMG to it. This effect is valid for a max of 3 DoTs.
Prisoner in Deep Confinement is another good 4-piece option for Luka. As a DoT focused character, each DoT affecting an enemy allows his attacks to ignore 6% of their DEF when dealing damage, stacking up to 3 times for a total of 18% DEF ignore. This works well with Luka's kit, as he excels at applying and maintaining Bleed to deal continuous damage over time.
Thief of Shooting Meteor
2-Piece Set: Increases Break Effect by 16.0%.
4-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 16.0%. After the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, regenerates 3 Energy.
Thief of Shooting Meteor increases Luka's break effect and after inflicting weakness break he will regenerate 3 energy.

Best Planar Ornaments

Revelry by the Sea
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12.0%. When the wearer's ATK is higher than or equal to 2400/3600, increases the DoT DMG dealt by 12.0%/24.0% respectively.
Revelry by the Sea is a great set for Luka which provides him with an additional 12% ATK. If his ATK is higher than 2400/3600 it increases his DoT DMG by 12%/24%. Luka highly benefits from the increased DoT DMG from this set but may require allies' who can help him to reach that ATK% threshold.
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's SPD by 6.0%. When the wearer hits an enemy target that has Fire Weakness, the wearer's Break Effect increases by 40.0%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
Forge is another viable option for Luka but does come with a massive Caveat. That being that Luka needs to hit an enemy that has a Fire weakness to take advantage of the 40% Break Effect buff.
Outside of bosses with Fire weakness, Luka only gains 6% SPD while Luka generally does not have teammates that implant weakness to guarantee the boss having a Fire weakness.
Firmament Frontline: Glamoth
2-Piece Set: Increases the wearer's ATK by 12.0%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12.0%/18.0% more DMG.
Firmament Frontline Glamoth is another good set that Luka can use. This set provides him with increased 12% ATK as well as a further increased DMG when his SPD is greater or equal to 135/160.

Luka Build Comments

Character Overview Mechanic Overview

Character Overview

Luka is a single target Nihility character built around his DoT Bleed mechanic and Break damage. His Skill applies a Bleed effect that chips away at enemies based on their max HP, making him especially effective against tankier enemies. His Ultimate also increases the damage enemies take, giving both Luka and the rest of the team a solid damage boost.

What makes Luka stand out is how consistent his damage is. By building up fighting will stacks, he can use enhanced attacks that repeatedly trigger Bleed damage, letting him keep pressure on his enemies without relying on huge burst hits. He's less focused on Crit stats than most standard damage dealers, instead preferring Break Effect, ATK and SPD stats to maximise his Bleed output.

Luka works best as a sub-DPS who can support the team while steadily wearing enemies down. He may not have the raw power or AoE potential of top tier DPS/ sub-DPS, but in longer single target fights, his damage and utility make him a reliable option.

Mechanic Overview

Luka's kit is built around applying Bleed and then repeatedly triggering that Bleed for extra damage. His Skill is the core of his game play, dealing single target Physical damage while applying the Bleed effect that scales with the enemy's Max HP as Physical DoT. This makes him especially effective against bosses and other high HP enemies, since the Bleed effect continues dealing damage over multiple turns.

His Ultimate deals a large burst of Physical damage and increases the amount of damage the target takes for several turns. This boosts Luka's own Bleed damage while also helping the rest of the team hit enemies harder, giving him some support alongside his own personal damage.

His Talent ties his whole kit together through Fighting Will stacks. Luka gains stacks whenever he attacks whether this is via his basic attack or skill, and once he has enough stacks, his basic attack becomes an enhanced basic attack. The enhanced attack hits multiple times and can instantly trigger additional Bleed damage on the enemy instead of waiting for their turn to come around. This lets Luka stack up steady, reliable damage over time and makes his gameplay revolve around constantly applying and utilising his Bleed effects.
