On this page, you will find out the optimal PvE stat priority for your Fury Warrior in Mists of Pandaria Classic. We first present the stat priority, before delving into more complex explanations.

1.

Stat Priority for Fury Warrior

The stat priority for FuryFury Warrior is as follows:

When playing with Titan's Grip Icon Titan's Grip:

  1. Hit Rating (Soft-cap 7.5%);
  2. Expertise Rating (7.5%);
  3. Strength;
  4. Critical Strike Rating;
  5. Mastery Rating;
  6. Haste Rating;
  7. Hit Rating (Hard-cap 26.5%).
1.1.

Hit (7.5%)

As it has been for the majority of Word of Wacraft, capping out your Hit Rating is the most important thing to do first. Mists of Pandaria reduces the amount of hit chance need down from 8% to 7.5%, making it even easier to reach the cap. While dual-wielding, players suffer an additional 19% miss chance penalty to their white-attacks, while abilities will still retain the 7.5% chance to miss.f

1.2.

Expertise (7.5%)

After capping out your Hit chance you will want to max out your Expertise. Expertise reduces the chance for your attacks to be Dodged or Parried, but as bosses can only Parry from the front, you will not need to reach the 15% threshold. Instead, melee DPS only need to reach 7.5% expertise for their attacks to no longer be dodged, as long as they attack the boss from behind.

1.3.

Strength

With the two largest damage improvements maxed out already in Hit and Expertise, Strength comes in as the third most desirable stat. Strength is converted to attack power at a 2:1 ratio, which directly boosts your damage dealt. You will be stacking this stat up as much as you can.

1.4.

Critical Strike Rating

A close runner-up to Strength is Critical Strike; attacks that crits deal double damage. Critical strikes are also commonly required to activate certain spells, items, or abilities. WarriorWarrior will gain Enrage Icon Enrage when they crit, further enhancing their damage output.

1.5.

Mastery Rating

Every specialization in the game has a Mastery passive spell that grants unique buffs depending on the spec. FuryFury has Mastery: Unshackled Fury Icon Mastery: Unshackled Fury, which increases your Physical damage done while you are under the effect of Enrage Icon Enrage.

1.6.

Haste Rating

Increases your attack speed, giving you more overall auto-attacks, Rage, and procs. Unfortunately, Haste Rating is very weak for most melee DPS until it receives a major rework in future expansions.

1.7.

Hit Rating (Hard-cap 26.5%)

As mentioned earlier, players dual-wielding get an additional 19% miss chance. This means that players can continue gaining Hit Rating past the soft-cap of 7.5% and will still gain a benefit from it, as the additional Hit Rating will reduce the chance that your auto-attacks will miss. As this is your lowest priority stat, you won't gem or enchant for a ton of extra hit, but this does mean that as you progress through the continually improve your gear, pieces with Hit Rating on them do not lose as much value as you keep getting value even past the soft-cap of Hard-cap 7.5%.
