Overview

The Isle of Quel'Danas is a part of the fifth and final content update of The Burning Crusade Classic, and brings many new daily quests, a new reputation and new vendors, and an outdoor progression system for the zone itself.

Once Phase 5 goes live, you will be able to pick up breadcrumb quests leading to the Isle in Shattrath city: Duty Calls near the Scryer's Tier inn for Scryers players and Crisis at the Sunwell in the center of the Aldor Rise for Aldor players.

How to get to the Isle of Quel'Danas

Once the Isle hub advances to its second stage and realm players complete enough Intercepting the Mana Cells daily quests, you will be able to just take a direct portal from the west corner of Shattrath city's center hub:

Until then, these are the best paths available for each faction:

As a Horde player, take the Shattrath portal to Silvermoon city, then proceed all the way south to exit the city and follow the wall to the right as you are exiting in order to find the flight master.

As an Alliance player, take the Shattrath portal to Ironforge and seek the flight master in the middle of the city. He will offer a special flight path to the Isle which teleports you directly to it as soon as you exit the city, making it one of the fastest paths available!

Both flight paths arrive at the same spot in the northwestern part of the isle, near the NPC quest and vendor hubs.

Layout of the Isle of Quel'Danas

The green circle to the northwest represents the friendly NPC area where vendors and quest givers are located. This zone starts off small with only a few NPCs but grows over time as daily quests are completed.

The green square on the northeast of the map is the entrance to the Magister's Terrace, a new dungeon where you can face Kael'thas Sunstrider once again, in a 5-man format.

The green ball in the middle of the map is the entrance to the new Sunwell Plateau raid, where iconic bosses such as Brutallus and Kil'jaeden, the final boss of TBC Classic, awaits.

You can also find multiple high level herb and mineral nodes all across the island, allowing gatherers to collect some raw materials while doing their dailies.

Daily Quests in the Isle of Quel'Danas

The reputation associated with most quests in the Isle is the Shattered Sun Offensive, and you will typically get 250 reputation and about 10 Gold for each daily quest completed. Some daily quests might also grant you a box of Shattered Sun Supplies Icon Shattered Sun Supplies, which typically contains a green item, but could also have a Badge of Justice Icon Badge of Justice or even an epic world drop!

Completing daily quests in the Isle also contributes to the zone-wide NPC hub progression. While only a few dailies are initially available from a handful of NPCs near the landing zone, many more NPCs and quests can be unlocked over time, depending on the amount of daily quests completed by the players on the server.

You can track this progress by talking to the NPC near the Shattrath portal to the Isle, or to some of the NPCs present in the Isle itself.

Each unlock provides more daily quests and other features, such as a direct portal into the Isle of Quel'Danas directly from Shattrath, a new Badge of Justice Icon Badge of Justice vendor with gear that rivals Black Temple drops, an Alchemy lab, and the K'iru's Song of Victory IconK'iru's Song of Victory buff for players in the zone.

The NPCs of previous hubs will also redirect you to the next daily quest hub once theirs is fully completed.

One of the dailies also notably provides one Darnarian's Scroll of Teleportation Icon Darnarian's Scroll of Teleportation per day, allowing you to quickly get back to Shattrath once you are done with the Isle for the day.
